Alright, grab some popcorn because this is about to get spicy.
So, I (22F) am in my senior year of college, and this might be the last time I get to hang out with my friend group of seven—me included. We’ve got 5 guys (A, B, C, D, and E) and 2 girls, Karen and me. And now, onto the drama: Karen.
To keep it short, Karen is my arch-nemesis. We started off thinking she was just a bit socially awkward, and somehow I ended up befriending her (gut feeling told me she was either going to be my best friend or my worst enemy… guess which one it was?). But as time went on, she slowly slithered her way into our friend group—and it all went downhill from there.
Karen is basically the queen of entitlement with a side of "I'm sweet, until I'm not." One of the most memorable moments that really showed her true colors? The fork incident. We were all hanging out, having a chill time, when one of the guys (let’s call him Thirsty A) grabbed Karen’s water bottle. I mean, classic friend group move, right? Someone's thirsty, they grab the closest drink. Nope. Not Karen. She FLIPPED. Full-on toddler tantrum, screeching, red-faced, and—get this—threw a metal fork at Thirsty A. And I’m not talking about a little toss. No. The fork missed him by a few millimeters. Like, if he had moved a second later, he could’ve easily lost an eye. Yeah, good times. Her excuse? “I have anger issues.” (Sure, Karen, sure. We all believe you, definitely.)
That was just the beginning of what turned into an ongoing saga of Karen being, well, Karen.
And let’s talk about the jealousy. Oh, it’s real. Here’s why:
- I was the favorite of our professors and peers. Karen? Not so much.
- I’m a better person (I know, humble brag, but it’s true). I treat people well, unlike Karen, who treats everyone like they're beneath her. (Cue dramatic tears.)
- My grades? Well, let’s just say I’m the one getting praise and recognition for my work, while Karen’s scrambling for validation that never quite lands.
- Whenever I spoke, the group listened. Meanwhile, Karen got progressively ignored because, surprise, she treated everyone like garbage.
- Her now-ex (who apparently liked me before they started dating) was actually into me back when I had a boyfriend (now my ex). But since I was in a relationship, he couldn’t make a move on me and, surprise, he went for Karen instead. Classic.
- I also happen to be better at everything career-related. Sorry, not sorry.
Fast forward to last September. During a college event, Karen had a meltdown because she lost her purse (shocker, right?), and decided to slap Clueless B because it was apparently his fault. Oh, and she made Random C pay ten times the cost for her missing eyeliner. Yeah, this is the kind of person we’re dealing with. That was when I started slowly distancing myself from her.
Then came February, and enter Karen’s brother, Jake(24). Mike is apparently the mastermind behind all her complaints. He went to our professors and spread lies about me, claiming that I’m the reason for Karen’s “anger issues” and that I’m secretly jealous of her. But it doesn’t end there—he also told them that I used to date a guy (this is super looked down upon in my college) in our college and play around with other guys' hearts and lives. He made it sound like I was some kind of heartbreaker, which is laughable because I’ve had one boyfriend in college and was loyal throughout. But sure, Jake, paint me as the villain. He also threw in some juicy details about my love life (because that’s always fun to gossip about, right?. He claimed I “play around with other guys’ hearts” (lol, no).
Oh, and here’s the kicker: Jake also told the professors that I was “toxic” to his sister. Let’s all remember—when Karen first showed up in our group, no one bothered to talk to her. I was the one who actually reached out, introduced myself, and tried to be her friend. But sure, Jake, you can call me toxic. That totally checks out. (He used to be a student here, shrewd af, total jerk, but brainwashed a few of the professors into liking him. Yeah, he's that guy.)
And of course, some professors (who were mostly in positions of authority) ate it up. Others were on my side, but those in power? Made my life a living hell (I guess you know why… cue positions of authority).
Even though some professors bought into Jake’s lies, my friend group stuck by me. But the group started ignoring Karen more and more because, well, who wouldn’t? Because, surprise! No one wants to hang out with someone who makes everyone’s life a living nightmare.
Here’s where it gets juicy: We have this birthday tradition where everyone (except the birthday person) buys a cake, gives gifts, and the birthday person takes everyone out to eat. Karen, of course, decided to bring a cake for my birthday this month and demanded that I cut it. It was in a public space, so I couldn’t really say no, but THEN, she asked the guys for money to cover the cake. Mind you, it was her idea to bring it. They reluctantly chipped in 50 cents each (yes, you read that right—50 cents, and Karen actually cried over it. For 50 cents.)
Now, here we are. I’m planning a lunch with the guys next Monday, and apparently, they’re planning a surprise party for me (I didn’t even ask for this, but okay).
And before anyone lashes out saying I just want to be alone with five guys. SHEESH. Three of them are gay and the other two have girlfriends. What the heckaroooniiiiiiiiiii!!
So, here’s the million-dollar question: Should I invite Karen to eat with us?

I'll be real. Arianna Grande was a big reason I was interested in going. And the trailers seemed fun.
I'm an LA native. So, the next time I travel to New York, I think I should plan to see a showing of Wicked. Knowing how broke I am and how even more broke we're all about to become, I have doubts if I'll be traveling to the other coast anytime soon.
That being said, it's going to be on my mind y'all. Alongside seeing my Rangers play. Yes, I'm an LA native and a Rangers fan. And yes, I watch hockey.
But I'm going on a tangent.
That was probably one of the best movie theater experiences I have had in a long time. It's up there with Spider-Man: No Way Home and many other great films.

A good friend of mine that is a bit younger than me has had sleep apnea for awhile and I believe was using a CPAP.
He knew I was big into this biomechanics stuff and so he asked me if I thought my appliance would help.
I asked him… “Do birds still fly south for the winter?”
He looked at me confused and answered… “Yes I guess so”
And i chuckled…. “well there’s your answer to your question!”
He bought one the next day and started using it as soon as it arrived.
A few weeks after that he pinged me and was like “Ken… this thing is really helping me sleep a lot better. Thank you!”
And i’m sure with enough time… he will open things up enough that he will be sleeping better than he ever has.
What is sleep apnea? Sleep apnea basically means you stop breathing while you sleep. The most common type is Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), where your airways physically collapse during sleep.
It's not just about snoring - this stuff cripples your ability to enjoy your life.
It destroys your sleep quality, tanks your energy levels, and increases your risk of pretty much every major disease.
Plus it destroys your cognitive function because your brain isn't getting enough oxygen at night.
For a person that sleeps poorly on a regular basis… getting good sleep would probably be the biggest driver of happiness in their life. It’s just so important.
The rise of sleep apnea The numbers are insane - sleep apnea has exploded in the US over the past few decades. Something like 30 million Americans have it now, and that number's growing fast.
Look at CPAP machine sales - they're through the roof.
Millions of people are sleeping with these machines strapped to their faces every night. It's become so normal that people don't even question why this is happening.
The cause of sleep apnea The medical establishment will give you all kinds of reasons - being overweight, anatomical features like a thick neck, age, sleeping position, genetics, smoking, alcohol... the list goes on.
And then when you look at some of the other factors… they do not explain the rapid growth of sleep apnea:
- Genetics: did our genetics change massively in the last 20-30 years? Well if that’s the case than you need to wake up Charles Darwin and tell him he was full o shit.
- Smoking: has decreased significantly in the last few decades
- Alcohol use: has remained more or less flat the past few decades
The real cause is these biomechanics Doctors that diagnose sleep apnea like to talk about "anatomical features" like narrow airways and deviated septums being correlated to it.
And they act like these things just happen randomly.
But ask yourself - why do some people have narrow airways while others don't?
The answer is simple - their skulls are literally crushed. When your skull deflates like a balloon losing air (which happens when you flatten your curve of spee), everything gets compressed - including your airways.

What are the common treatment approaches? The conventional approaches are mostly ridiculous to me - lose weight, avoid alcohol, change sleeping position, use a CPAP machine, get surgery... they’re all mostly just bandaids.
They do not fix the structural root cause of the problem.
And so the problem typically remains with them indefinitely.
The only treatments that do address the root cause are the oral appliances that many companies are now selling.
But the fact that these things will ‘inflate’ the skull and help fix the problem permanently is a side benefit that these companies that sell them probably do not even understand.
Also some of them are engineered to lock a specific jaw position and those will plateau your improvement. Because the jaw position needs to be free to move around as things improve.
A rubber mouthguard is all you really need How do you fix sleep apnea once and for all?
Simple. You need to "uncrush" your skull. And the way to do that is by stretching the soft tissue through the biomechanics i talk about.
A simple rubber mouthguard like the Reviv One can do this.
It adds vertical height between your teeth while unlocking the occlusion and ‘inflates’ the skull. As this happens, your airways naturally open up as cranial bones begin to move back to their correct anatomical position.
Breathing improves and sleep apnea typically resolves itself.
Closing thoughts Sleep apnea isn't some mysterious disease that just happens to people. It's a direct result of biomechanical collapse.
I never see people with perfect structure (eg. models, pro athletes, etc) who have sleep apnea. Do you?
Rather the ones that are sleeping with a CPAP every night are people that i typically take one glance at them and i am not surprised.
And instead of trying to get to the root cause of the problem our medical system is putting millions of people on CPAP machines and telling them they'll need them forever. It's absolute stupidity once you understand just how easy this stuff is to fix.
Fix the structure, fix the problem.

Hello, i’m pre transition, only my hair growth, u guys I started to hate myself for who I am, when I see hot men besides being attracted to them my mind is telling me that that is the way I should look like, me personally wanting to be a man is something i don’t really want, i wanna be a girl. Be feminine and etc. Another problem is that when I am getting called a girl it feels so strange and it feels kinda “humiliating” or idk what the feeling is, it doesn’t sound real. I WISH I WAS BORN a CISGIRL. At this point I’m constantly thinking about it day and night and i’m so tired i just wish I was born cis doesn’t matter man or a woman, because if i was cis i wouldn’t have to deal with this😭 If I could have a button which would turn me into a girl and my brain would forget that I was born a male, instantly would press it.
