I’ve been questioning whether I am aromantic for a long time. I’m 21 and never been in a relationship. I develop “crushes” but soon lose interest or like the crush is a forced feeling. I really haven’t had one since high school. There is this one friend who I believe likes me. I want to try to be in a relationship with her and see if I am aromantic or not. We’re friends and I don’t want to fuck it up bc I find out I’m aromantic. I don’t have a real interest in relationships but sometimes I’m scared I’ll end up lonely. I think if the feelings came more naturally I could be a good partner. I want to know what it’s like to fall in love and all the feeling that comes with loving someone. How did other people figure out they were aromantic?

I’m wondering what being in Extremadura is like as a language assistant as I’m thinking of putting it as one of my regional options for next year. I’m currently in a village in Galicia as an ELA and have difficulties with the commute and rainy, windy and cold weather and so I’m looking for a change for next year.
Are there many placements in cities? How is public transportation to get to other regions such as Andalusia, Castilla y León or Madrid? What’s the weather like generally? And how is your general experience in this part of Spain? If there’s also anything else you would like to let me know about, I’d love to hear it!
Hearing anything about people’s experience there would be insightful!

I was repeatedly told that this is an uncommon size, which makes the prices higher and the availability more limited, especially if I opt for all-season tires. This seems less of an issue with standard sizes. Now I’m wondering: are 205/45/R16 tires really an uncommon size? And which tire sizes are most common for a 6.5J R16 rim? The stores I consulted didn’t provide much clarity on this. I’m debating whether to stick with 205/45/R16 tires, since these are already on the car, or to go for a different size. Caring about people is nice and all, but my empathy is blown out of proportion to a destructive degree. I can’t be around sad people without being sad, and that doesn’t help anyone or fix anything.
I feel like a burden in situations where people are hurting. You’re having a bad day, you don’t need to deal with me being a dramatic weepy mess because you’re sad.
Avoiding people isn’t an option. I have a major extroverted streak (Leo rising probably sees to that), and go nuts in isolation.
I really have no idea how to deal with this. It makes me do bad things. I’ve lied to people so that they wouldn’t be upset. I’ve literally stood up and removed myself from spaces where people were sad, which helps nobody, and is so rude.
I don’t know. Being hyper-aware and affected by the energy others are giving off can be nice, but it has enormous downsides at the extremes.
