hellllllo!!!! i hope that you are having a fantastic day/night. as i sit down to type this whole post out, i cant help but feel a warm sense of a lot of excitement about sharing my thoughts and experiences with you even tho I dont know you yet, hahahaa. I want to find someone to do a culture exchange with, I can also teach you english if you want!! I want to build up a deep friendship with someone from across the world from me, and I want us to teach each other about our different countries/cultures. most of our convos can be long but a lot of our convos can also be short/silly, lol. :) your gender does not matter to me at all. just be an adult, .and also want lifetime friendship! :)
one of my greatest passions in life is watching movies, and there are a few that have truly touched my heart. life of pi is a remarkable journey of survival and selfdiscovery, where the bond between a boy and a tiger teaches us about resilience and faith. similarly, howl's moving castle enchants me with its whimsical storytelling and stunning animation. the way it portrays love and transformation resonates deeply with my own experiences. then theres cast away, which beautifully illustrates the struggle of isolation and the human spirits fight to survive against all odds. finally, moana captivates me with its vibrant visuals and empowering message about following ones dreams, no matter how daunting they may seem!!!
cooking is another passion of mine, particularly when it comes to exploring different cuisines. i find immense joy in preparing indian food, especially pav bhaji. the combination of spices creates a symphony of flavors that warms my soul. making this dish feels like an art form as i chop vegetables and mix them with fragrant spices, all while imagining sharing it with friends over laughter and stories. italian cuisine also holds a special place in my heart; theres something incredibly satisfying about making fresh pasta oand a homemade pizza from scratch. the smell of dough rising in the oven fills my kitchen with comfort, reminding me of family gatherings where we would feast together.
as a college student majoring in history, my days are often filled with books and lectures that transport me to different eras. studying history allows me to connect with the past and understand how it shapes our present. i enjoy diving into various topics, from ancient civilizations to modern events, each offering unique insights into human behavior and society. balancing academics can be challenging at times, especially as someone who identifies as neurodivergent. this aspect of my life has taught me resilience and creativity in finding study methods that work best for me.
poetry is another love of mine, particularly verses that celebrate trains and nature. there's something magical about how trains symbolize journeys, both literal and metaphorical. they remind me of adventure and exploration, while nature poetry evokes feelings of peace and connection to the world around us. i often find solace in writing my own poems inspired by the beauty i see during hikes or while camping under starlit skies!!!
documentaries have become a favorite genre for me as well, especially my octopus teacher. this film opened my eyes to the wonders of marine life and the profound connections we can form with other species. it inspires me to appreciate the small moments in life and encourages me to learn more about our planets ecosystems. spending time outdoors is essential for a lot of my happiness, hiking and camping allow me to recharge while immersing myself in natures beauty.
one of my biggest dreams is to hike the entire pacific crest trail someday. imagining myself walking through diverse landscapes, from mountains to deserts, fills me with soooooo much excitement. each step on that long journey would be a step toward personal growth and adventure, allowing me to connect deeply with nature while pushing my limits. until then, i enjoy shorter hikes whenever possible, soaking in the fresh air and breathtaking views. I have small parts of the pct but someday I will hike the whole gigantic pct trail.
when it comes to leisure activities, video games have always been a significant part of my life. titles like minecraft allow me to unleash my creativity as i build entire worlds block by block. similarly, the sims offers an escape into a simulated life where i can control every detail, from funny situations to career paths. although i used to dive into many mmorpgs, life has become busier lately, leaving less time for those immersive experiences.
baking is another delightful hobby, theres nothing quite like making pumpkin cookies during autumn. the aroma of spices fills my home as they bake, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for cozy evenings spent with loved ones or simply enjoying a good book by the fireplace. autumn itself is a season i cherish deeply; the crisp air, colorful leaves, and warm sweaters bring comfort and joy.
winter follows closely behind as another favorite season of mine. theres something magical about watching snowflakes fall gently from the sky while sipping hot cocoa wrapped in blankets. christmas lights twinkling on trees create an enchanting ambiance that fills my heart with warmth and nostalgia!!!!
i hope this lame silly post gives you a glimpse into my world, my passions for movies, cooking, history, poetry, nature, gaming, baking, and seasonal joys, etc. im very very VERY excited to hear about your interests too!!!! lets share our stories and create our own little adventure together.

I took on a new job and I'm struggling. I'm on my third day and I am just regretting my choice for moving to this new job.
The person I'm replacing (who is training me) is a dinosaur. She's been in the role for 25 yeaes and is finally retiring.
She's so knowledgeable but she's stuck in her old ways.
I'm feeling a little frustrated with how things are around here but at the same time feeling worried if I can even do the job well. The job seems very difficult and I'm new in the industry.
Anyways, I'm contemplating on whether this job is too hard for me and if I should just apply elsewhere.
Does anyone have any positive stories of being in a new role you hate but ended up liking it???

Yo guys, need some serious advice here fr!!
So there’s this girl, let’s call her D. If you know her, you know she’s not just another VITian. She’s on another level fr, super smart, insanely talented, and yeah, everyone calls her the Google Girl. We’ve had the same classes since first sem and ngl I’ve been crushing on her since day one.
But here’s the thing, she’s not the easiest person to get close to. She’s super selective abt her friends and tbh, can’t blame her for it. She’s the kinda person who knows her worth and doesn’t waste time on BS. I respect that abt her but bro, it’s made it impossible for me to figure out how to get close.
Second year she lands a Google internship, and that was it for me. I told myself “if she can do that, I’m gonna grind like crazy too. I need to atleast be in her league.” I didn’t end up at Google, but I did land a FAANG offer and I can say without a doubt it’s becoz of her. Like her success was my motivation all the way.
Also she’s legit stunning like GORGEOUS STUNNING. Her brown eyes light up when the sun hits them, and her highlights make them look even better, it’s insane. And her smile? She’s got this tiny dimple on just one side of her chin and it’s honestly the cutest thing. And she stresses out so much before exams, but she always ends up topping anyway, like how does she even do that?
She’s also an incredible dancer graceful af and she writes these beautiful, deep poems that just hit different. I swear it’s like everything she does is magic!
Now here’s the problem.. college is ending in 2 WEEKS!! If I don’t make a move now, I’m gonna regret it for the rest of my life. I’m legit in love with this girl. Not just crushing, like she’s the kind of person who makes you wanna be better, uk? I don’t just like her, I respect her.
But man idk how to do this without screwing it up :(( Do I just go all in and tell her how I feel? Or do I play it casual and ask her out for coffee first? I’m scared to seem desperate but also scared to lose my chance. Need ur help here. What do I do????

 | So I ordered an item on Ebay on the 24th Nov. Arriving date mention on the receipt on the ebay order page is 6th Dec (estimate). Well this morning I got an email that the item was delivered. I checked with neighbours, around my house lawn, no card slide through the door. The tracker mention at 00:00 it was delivered by North West Midlands MC. And then 06:00 am this morning the email came saying it was delivered... Is this a mistake or a bug? It should take at least 2-3 more days to get here... Anyone else had this problem?
