I’m not a Pep hater by any stretch - he’s a serious contender in the argument for the greatest manager of all time. Perhaps it’s a weird form of Stockholm syndrome, watching his Barcelona team dismantle what was , in my opinion, the best version of my team, Manchester United, I’ve seen in my lifetime, twice in two years in two Champions League finals - his blend of tactical innovation married with some of the most talented players to ever exist creating what I think was the greatest club side of all time.
That he ended up at our noisy neighbours was ironic - and he has continued to line his trophy cabinet, making a mockery of those who doubted him when he arrived.
But seeing his team now compared to the verve with which his Barcelona team played , and it’s hard to draw many similarities. Even when compared to his City team of a few years ago , who were technically brilliant , passing and moving in tight spaces , opening teams up , his city team of the past few years seems to be much more mechanical in function, never taking risks or even being particularly good to watch, instead relying on moments of brilliance from his most talented players like Haaland, De Bruyne and Rodri.
It’s been nearly 20 years since Pep and his tactical innovations came onto the scene. The entire face of football has changed since then - controlling space and high pressing are now norms for nearly every high functioning team. Football has evolved in a way that reflects his tactics - has this made his tactics less effective and forced him to rely upon individuals ?

I’m currently studying abroad, and aside from my girlfriend, I don’t really have any friends here. I’ve been trying to branch out and make friends outside of my usual neurodivergent circle back home, but it’s been a real struggle. One thing I’ve noticed is that every conversation I try to have with neurotypical people seems to turn into a chance for them to brag, whether it’s about how many fancy vacations they’ve taken, expensive things they’ve bought on their parents’ credit card, or other things they want to try to show off. It’s genuinely every single sentence they speak, and EVERY single person I encounter. Particularly women. (I am a woman and a feminist, please don’t call me misogynistic)
It’s really confusing to me. Why do neurotypicals turn conversations into bragging sessions? It’s not just exchanges with me, either; it feels like almost every conversation I overhear from other students is the exact same way. I’m genuinely trying to connect and have meaningful exchanges, but it feels like they just want an audience instead of a friend. Is this something other autistic people have noticed? And if so, how do you deal with it? Do I just accept that this is how conversations are going to go, or is there a way to shift the dynamic?

Another creep Beware of this guy in this subreddit. He made a fake post earlier, so I checked out all his comments and realized he’s some sort of creep trying to bait kids with a fake post.
His account was 3 months old, and the first comment he made was on an NSFW post. In fact, all of his comments were on NSFW posts, and they were vulgar.
When I confronted him about it by commenting on his post, he immediately deleted the post and his account.
( This is what I wrote on his post Hello there, I checked your comments, and I was surprised to see that all of them were on NSFW posts of adult women, where you were asking them to DM you. You even added comments requesting nudes from them. You're either a creep or some kind of clueless kid because your post on this subreddit doesn't make sense compared to the comments you make.)
I asked myself, "Could this really be a 14-year-old kid?" My instinct immediately said, "No, this is clearly a grown man." To be sure, I showed his comments and the post he made to my friends before confronting him, asking if they thought he seemed like a 14-year-old. Their response was unanimous: No, he doesn’t sound 14 at all.

I've seen the movie get it's fair share of hate and honestly I want to know your opinions about it too. Personally I do think that some of the songs in the movie were a little meh compared to the original musical, but at the same time the movie went for a more "acting first" or "story first" approach. Like, as much as Hathaway gets hate for her version of "I dreamed a dream" I personally think it's a unique way to sing the song. Sure, the movie also cut out some parts of some songs (forever mad about R's line in Drink with me and ABC cafe) but at the same time it added stuff from the novel and stayed more true/accurate to the novel (based from what I heard because I haven't actually finished reading the book).
Though, I want to hear your opinions!! It doesn't matter if you have the same as everyone else's, I just like hearing people out on stuff
