Ive been thinking how Arcane has recently retconned so many champions stories so far, and how Riot has stated that Arcane is the canon and i came to this conclusion. The lore Arcane is based on is the spin-off, NOT the other way around.
what's the short term impact of this - nothing really! we get some themed skins here and there and cool events and even a VGU inspired by the changes that don't really effect things as a whole. Leagues Lore and Arcane Universe Co-existing and supporting each other.
What's the long term impact of this - Potentially entire characters written out of the canon, going into the void of non-existence like shaco, kogmaw, and chogath. champions like zac and blitzcrank will be labeled as spin-off game characters like how the T-hex is for wildrift/LOR. Canon taking priority, VGU's inspired by drastic poor design choices could changed characters for the worse both visually and gameplaywise.
We dont need a "canon" - many IP's have multiple timelines and versions to fine tune and create the best stories for their characters. Pushing things forward means that you're opening the door to fail miserably. A canon timeline makes it more difficult to abandon that timeline if things go south. Anyway, I just hope riot does the sensible thing and takes the best of both worlds. Lets keep 90% of arcane and integrate it into the established lore, and vise versa.

I’m trying to figure out what this aerial was used for before the homes were built. For context, there was a dairy nearby, a federal “Indian school”, and much Phoenix was orange groves before the housing boom. As you can see, I got down the rabbit hole last night. The reason for this is ive been eyeing the ASRock X870 Riptide wifi AM5 motherboard for awhile and it's an E-ATX board. Do you guys also recommend this board or are there better ones?
