Hello all. I’m purchasing a 4 bed room house built in 2001. An extension was done in 2011.
I’m looking at getting a level 2 survey done but the EA says it’s not worth it for a house that old. Searches came back with nothing significant. All okay from what I’ve read. Currently in the enquiries stage and waiting for feedback from the enquiries.
Is a survey necessary? Should I insist and get it done? Please advice.

Got laid off from my factory job on my birthday in September, have been looking for a new job for months probably applied for 300+ jobs. Finally secured a few interviews one of which being at Dominos. Did the interview and the manager hired me on the spot great right! Tell me I will get an email in the following days with my start date. I Contact other jobs I interviewed at and declined because this Dominos job paid the best (20 + tips). 3 days nothing, call on day 4 nothing, again on day 6 nothing on day 8 I get told they had no idea who I was and didn’t have anything on record of me and now I’m back to square one and jobless and my savings are running out. So thank you Dominos there’s a high chance I will be homeless because yall promised me a job n then completely ghosted me .

 | Posting here because friends that I’ve shared privately with asked me to boost my experience. At the time I only had the Kindle PW11th gen. I preordered the Kindle Colorsoft the day it was announced but wanted to check out the competition before it arrived. I ordered the Boox Go Color 7 because I really wanted buttons. From the moment I opened it was disappointed. It was such a bad build quality, it felt like cheap plastic. The buttons felt atrocious and it was too light. Start up was slow and took forever. First thing I did was log into Kindle but I already knew I was returning it. The ghosting was so bad, every time I pressed the buttons a black rectangle would show up in the top left corner. After logging into Kindle and trying to read I adjusted some settings to minimize the ghosting. The UI is clunky, slow and unreliable. I never actually got the buttons to work and the kindle app ran so poorly. For a $30 difference it wasn’t worth it at all. I’m always so shocked to see great reviews, maybe it was my device but I did not enjoy a single thing about it. I’m still interested in getting the Kobo Color (I forget what it’s called) for my kids because they love graphic novels and our library always has a huge selection always available. I did keep my preorder with Kindle. Of course colour e ink isn’t as bright as just b&w but I’m still really happy with it. I have a slight yellow issue but I’m on a list for replacement when they resolve the issue. I cannot get over how fast the kindle is. I will forever mourn the buttons that we will never get again from Kindle. I have videos of the Boox I am going to try and figure out how to attach too. I’m sure if I spent more time messing with the settings I could have gotten it slightly better but I personally want something that I don’t have to mess with often. The $30 difference is worth the convenience to me. It also made me realize while I enjoy my Kindle, I do not like the Kindle app at all. Not in my phone or iPad either. Again, these are all personal feelings! If you have a great experience with yours then I’m happy. Competition is good!
