My husband retired a couple of years ago, and we were able to apply for and have approved secondary dependency for our daughter as she turned 21 to have her continue on Tricare Prime.
Currently she receives:

I know the re-evaluation will be coming up, and some of these benefits have been added since we initially applied. How does the military view each of these income sources? Do they count as her supporting herself or us supporting her? I've struggled to find documentation for how they count, so if you could link to official documents, that would be extra helpful.
We are easily able to document that we are currently providing more than 50% of her support, but if she receives food stamps and then the medicaid waiver comes through, we are concerned that we have to match those amounts for her to continue to qualify.
The benefit of Tricare is far more valuable than these others since she has needed hospitalizations in the past and we expect may again in the future, and they are very expensive and don't always accept Medicaid.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction? I don't want to turn down benefits that she qualifies for, but I really don't want her to lose Tricare for the rest of her life and a portion of my husband's pension after we both pass away.

Hello everyone,
I am working on standing up my first home and would like some affirmation that I have the right idea. I would like to start off with running Prox marks as my hypervisor and home assistant and Unraid (for NAS; backups for local PC’s and shared network drives).
I am hoping to do this with two SSD‘s running in raid 1 configuration (for hypervisor and home assistant, and 2 16 TB HDD‘s configured in a parity configuration (with the ability to add more drives in the future to the HDD array).
How would I go about this? Can I specify that Proxmox run on the SSD’s, home assistant only run on the SSDs, and Unraid use only the HDD‘s as its array?
Apologies if this is an obvious question. I tried researching this on my own and got lost in threads and YouTube videos.
Bonus question: in this situation would it make sense to also make backups from the SSD’s to Unraid and the HDD’s? Or would that be overkill with the Raid1 configuration of the SSD’s?

Bonus question #2: anything else useful to put on the SSD? Currently I have 1 256GB and 1 512GB SSD from an old PC build and am debating between purchasing another 256 or another 512 for this NAS, the other would be repurposed for a new PC build.

I’m a born and raised New Yorker and FINALLY won the housing lottery. My apartment itself is gorgeous, and the views are insane. That being said, the building I’m in - 35 Commercial Street - leaves much to be desired. Just wanted to see if anyone else is dealing with inconsiderate neighbors? I definitely understand everyone comes from different backgrounds, but it’s really disappointing to see the elevators trashed, food all over the common areas, people loitering in the lobby/ outside at all hours of the day, and to top it off our lounge area is padlocked because someone decided to throw a party and be disgusting.
IDK I’m just feeling super frustrated, and embarrassed to invite family and friends over given the environment. Thinking I’ll have to move out, but wanted to see if anyone was experiencing anything simila if there was anything we can do?

2024.11.27 17:50 Megatronschmidt Updating Fixed Fee rules in the Project module

We just got word that we are increasing some of our fixed fees ahead of schedule (their end date). I have around 550 that needs their current fixed fee rule deactivated and then the new rule created with a January 1st date.
I have gone through NetSuite and tried "mass updates" and CSV imports, but nothing seems to work. Even with the internal ID of the current fee rule, it won't deactivate and there seems to be no way to import the new rules.
Is this a hopeless endevour and I will have to do this manually, or is it something that I need an outside partner for. I am in accounting and outside of some of the basic coding in NetSuite (templates, imports, mapping etc.) I have no additional knowledge for its inner workings.

Okay so I know I’m probably going to get some hate for asking this question but here we go. So I found a stray cat on my college campus, there are a lotttt of them here. They get fed everyday, they have water, and they are all fixed. She was super super friendly and I decided I wanted to take her home. After about if month of regularly visiting her I took her in. At first she was scared but she started the warm up. The issue is she was diagnosed with FelV. Her medical bills are super expensive and I can’t afford to take her to the vet. I know there are grants and pet credit cards but the grants are hard to come by and I can’t have anymore debt as I’m already a college student. On top of this my roommate has a cat so my cat is stuck in 200 sq ft room all day. She also suffers from incontinence so my floor is constantly covered in pee pads. I’ve already spent over $1000 on vet bills and I can’t spend anymore. I’ve tried rehoming sites and reaching out to cat rescues but nothing. I can’t keep dealing with the peeing on my floor and I can’t afford to take her to the vet to see what’s causing it, though im pretty sure it’s the FelV. I know I made a mistake but adopting a pet I can’t financially take care of and I thought I was mentally ready to handle all of this but the pee all over my floor is extremely stressful. I also feel bad bc she is stuck in a tiny room all day and no one is there bc im at class. I have to get rid of her but I feel like if I take her to the shelter they will kill her bc she’s old a sick. I know cats live longer inside but in this case should I return her to her colony? She seemed happy outside and it’s warm all year round where I live so she wouldn’t be suffering in that way. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
