Might be good to specify that it happened right when things were getting, um... You know.

I just had a very traumatic event happen and I would love to get the input of this community.
For context, I’m a first time mom and for the first few months we used a wrap with our little one. And then she completely refused being carried as she became more active. Lately she loves being carried again in a structured carrier (we have a Tula and a Mabe). She has a very strong head and neck and is almost sitting. I say all this to make clear that im new to baby carrying and bubs is pretty strong.
Today as I was carrying her on a walk, she started getting sleepy and began to move her head to find a comfortable position. She settled on a position with her head facing my chest. I wasn’t super comfortable with the position because her mouth was obstructed but I could see that she could breathe through her nose, even though it was obstructed by my body. During our walk she would at times take a big sigh and shift a little. Then near the end, I started to get really nervous that she had suffocated. I panicked and opened the carrier, she took a second or two to rouse but I was sure in those seconds that she had suffocated.
As I replay it, was she in a deep sleep or was she partially passed out? Does the fact that she got herself in that head position make it more safe or should I have adjusted her head to the side?
Any thoughts would be so appreciated❤️

Hi everyone a little background on the situation - I've been living in my 2 bedroom flat for almost a year now, and I'm looking to renew my current lease for another year starting January 31st 2025 (the initial lease term started on Feb 1st 2024).
I've expressed to the landlords and agency that I'm going to renew the lease, but my flatmate is moving back home, so I told the agency that I will be looking for another person to take over the room. However, they want me to find another person NOW and sign the renewal contract NOW when there are still 2 months till my current lease term ends.
I responded that the other room had generated a lot of interests via photos and videos, but it is very close to holiday season, and many people are back home/out of the country, so I think it's best if me and my future flatmate sign it together in January.
Now they are pushing back saying how if I back out and not rent anymore. It will be a hassle for them to find new tenants again after my lease ends.
My question is - is this legal? I've googled, and it said landlords could not force tenants to sign renewal contract before the term ends, but I can't find the exact law that specify this.
If anyone has any insights that will be greatly appreciated!

I don’t know how people live with dirty nasty cars. The outside being a little dirty isn’t a big deal for me. But the inside? Where you sit for maybe an hour a day? And all that air circulating with mold and bacteria because you are treating your passenger seat as a garbage can? If that’s how you are with your car, I think you treat yourself the same way and your house the same way. Which I would gather as you lacking some self respect as to keep yourself in a decent level of hygiene. It’s not that hard.

I am thinking about getting a basic TEFL certification to teach online but before I do I wanted to ask if the job market is over saturated right now for some of the more decent paying teaching jobs? I have over 25 yrs of experience teaching different subjects like musical theater, drama, dance, etc. I have taught children of all ages in public & private schools, summer camps ...you name it. I applied for Cambly Kids recently and just got an email saying that it could be days or weeks before they get back to me depending on their needs. They won't even say that they are or are not officially hiring. I would appreciate any wisdom you have to share... Thanks!
