2024.11.27 19:50 Mikes_Movies_ I realized I’ve engaged in extremely toxic behavior post breakup
For context my ex and I had what I thought was a very good relationship. She has mental health struggles and it caused her to pull away and decide that she wasn’t enough for me, and we broke up for about 3 weeks before getting back together for about a month before the issues resurfaced and she dumped me again.
For two weeks I held strong in no contact but broke it. At first it was just checking in, but it turned quickly into me scrambling for answers, trying to force some sort of closure or trying to see if there was anything left. She repeatedly told me to stop pressing the issue and I would for a day or two before I reverted back to trying to reach out.
It hit a breaking point the other day where I asked to meet, she denied it and I sent a very long text about how I felt. I told her that I understand her reasons but that I still love her, but I have to respect her decision.
This caused her to become very angry, telling me again that my efforts are making her feel worse about herself, and that there’s zero hope and I need to leave her alone for my own healing.
I’ve known that my efforts were not doing us any favors but I didn’t have any self control, and it caused me to lose any shred of respect she had for me. I apologized, and said I will not reach out to her again in the future.
I feel like such an idiot, I disrespected her wishes and decision and it’s only caused the rift between us to grow and she probably hates me now. I know I cannot fix this, and while I know it all comes from a place of love I can’t help but feel like a controlling and manipulative person. I was truly good to her, but was not ready to let her go and it’s manifested in extremely anxious and poor behavior on my end.
It’s over between us, more now than ever. My efforts have only pushed her away further. How do I forgive myself for such childish and terrible behavior?

2024.11.27 19:50 DaemonSlayer_503 What do you think about matchmaking divided by „difficulty“ ?
After once again getting deleted multiple times by MW2 juggernaut kitted players i got the idea how it would be if matchmaking could be divided by „difficulty“
Something like a „medium mode“ where you can only take gear with a protection grade up to lvl 3 or 4
And the „hard mode“ where protection grade goes up to lvl 6 like normal.
This could balance things out a bit for some people. Dont go to hard about this, its just an idea i had.
What do you think?

I've been bedbound in a severe crash for a month. Just started feeling a little better. My daughter told me how much my husband has been complaining that I'm self absorbed because I can't listen to his feelings ... while crashed right before bed which I suffer insomnia me/cfs lc .. his feelings are stress induced complaints and abusive statements about our daughter and me ' my brain is all fucked up from covid now " I set a boundary but now he's talking to our 12 yr old about me and getting her mixed up. I've been fawning and grateful for everything but literally got this severe cause I kept pushing to do for them cause I have a servant identity from severe trauma . And there's nothing I can do
I had noticed a change in my daughter and it's because her dad is telling her I'm treating him like shit when he does everything for me.
I shouldn't have even had that convo after all the work I put in to complete non stim bedrest for 25 days. Insomnia is back hr was 150 before bed. There's nothing I can do besides just lay here.
This sucks I want my fucking energy back. It's not fair. I'm heartbroken

2024.11.27 19:50 TARDISblue63 [Baldur’s Gate 3] Platinum/Honour Mode Trophy Question
Currently about 1/3 of the way through my BG3 Honour Mode playthrough. I know once I reach the point of no return, I can just get Gale to nuke himself and end the game, thereby popping the Honour mode trophy.
However, I’m also playing as the Dark Urge, and in order to get THAT trophy I need to actually fight the Netherbrain.
Can I get Gale to go nuclear, pop the difficulty trophy, reload my save, then drop the difficulty down to Story for the sake of ease? I want to avoid fighting the Netherbrain on Honour mode if at all possible. Or is my save file nuked too because using Gale would be a TPK? I’ve googled this and can’t find a clear answer. I want all of the trophies, but I don’t want to start a third playthrough all for the sake of getting the Bhaal trophy.

I arrived on Sunday evening , everything was as I would expect.
Monday morning - BOOM people everywhere, traffic, police trying to keep pedestrians and cars apart…
Asked at my hotel reception “what is all the chaos in the road” and was asked what I meant. After explaining, I was told it was Police exams or something. It didn’t really make sense tbh.
It’s been going on morning and evening ever since, luckily I’m going home tomorrow but what the hell is going on for thousands of people to be hanging around a few small side roads and causing chaos on the main road?
