To clarify, the situation I'm asking about is as a 'call-word' (a vocative, a stand alone hey-you (what -is- the word for this)), not as a referential noun. The later is -very- gendered, it says exactly what sex a person is, and the feminine version is most likely 'lady'. E.g. 'Was it a dude or a lady who was caught shoplifting at Victoria's ... I'm not sure whether 'Mrs' or 'Ms' is preferred when the context clearly shows that the lady is married. I'm old-fashioned enough to think it should be 'Mrs', but modern style might use 'Ms'. The referenced URL did not place brackets around the maiden name. While I lived in Virginia I met several people who did this. The strangest thing was the lady who ran the register at a cafeteria I used. She used several of the above terms for everyone, varying them for different people, but appeared to be perfectly consistent in which term was applied to which person. There are plenty of lady chairmen of corporations. Or is that woman chairmen? Or should that be woperson? To answer the question: unless it's a specific reference to academia, the words 'Chair' and 'Chairman' would be interchangeable in the example given, but 'Chairman' would be better. I think if used the right way it can be very endearing. He would reach out and address me saying "Hey little lady!" I call people "sir" a lot and he may have been trying to mirror that language. I think that's a way to sound quaint and modern. A gentleman will always follow a lady when going up stairs, in case she should fall over. A gentleman will always precede a lady going down stairs for the same reason. So, I always double fry my wings but I have to make about 10 lbs of wings on Saturday when I have some people coming over. I don't have a huge fryer and I'm trying to save myself the hassle on Saturday.
Could I cook all the wings today at 275° for ~7 minutes so they're cooked then throw them in the fridge and on Saturday pull them out and drop them at 375° to crisp them up and reheat them?
I don't want to make shitty soggy wings so if it's not feasible, I'll just bite the bullet and do all the work Saturday. I figured someone here could lend some good advice.

three days ago my grandfather passed away. i am 21 and this is the first time that i lose someone that is really close to me. i lost a friend back when i was 13 and it was hard, the first few days were rough but i did get through it. we’d known each other for several years, and we weren’t the kind of best inseparable friends, but still, it hurt. i also lost family members, mainly uncles and aunts of my parents, and it did hurt, but nothing compares to this.
i don’t think humankind is supposed to grasp the concept of death and eternity. i believe we can accept the first, after all acceptance is the final stage of grief, but understanding it seems difficult, nearly impossible. i know it’s only been a few days, and i’m supposed to be in the denial phase, but my god it’s hard. my grandpa was sick, then he got better, and then sick again, and this one was fatal. he died surrounded my father, my aunt and my grandma. i know that he is finally at peace, but i can’t believe i will never see him again, i don’t want to accept that. i hadn’t seen him in almost a year, and i was planning on coming back home tomorrow to see him one last time, but fate decided otherwise.
my grandpa and i were really close, he was my best friend, i knew that i could always count on him to make me laugh, to cheer me up when i wasn’t feeling well, to join me in making fun of my grandma to annoy her. he was the best person i’ve known, he was good, he was generous, he was gentle. he suffered so much when he was sick, but he never complained, he stayed strong. everybody knew that, everybody loved him, and he will be missed, not just his family, but by everybody, because wherever he went, he left the most amazing of impressions.
i’ve always been a secretive person, i don’t really like to talk about my issues. only a few of my closest friends know, i know the others will help me feel better, but as weird as it seems, i don’t want their pity. maybe telling some strangers will be different.
i’m sorry if this is messy, i just had to say what’s been weighing on me for these last couple days. i love grandpa, i hope you’re at peace now, i hope you’re watching me and that you’ll be proud of the man i’ll become. i miss you and i’ll always miss you

Les comento, hace 1 semana me enteré que mi pareja me había engañado, le revisé el teléfono xq venía con sospechas (no justifica haberle revisado) pero termine encontrando un chat en donde había hablado con una mujer para tener relaciones, hace como 2 meses. Honestamente, no me enojé, soy una persona de mente abierta y hubiera preferido que me contará que quería hacer eso en vez de ocultarmelo, fue más una decepción que traición. Honestamente, a los días que me enteré, yo le iba a cortar, lamentablemente yo también lo cagué el mismo día que le iba a cortar, fue de bronca (no lo justifica). Ahora mismo decidimos cortar, contacto 0, pero con la idea de volver más adelante, sea 1 semana o años. Ambos nos amamos mucho, pero a la vez, llevo con él desde los 15, (tengo 21) y quisiera poder experimentar algo más, pero tengo miedo de enamorarme o buscar estar con otra persona, dejando de lado tanto tiempo y a alguien que (sacando los errores) a sido la mejor pareja y compañero que tengo.
