Hi guys, I'm a lead from a long-time tournament guild. I thought I would release this guide this week because there are a lot of people applying to new guilds right now with a lot of people trying to break into G3 or Tourney guilds for the first time. Selfishly, I'm releasing this guide because I want to see more players push for competitive siege to keep this part of the game healthy and thriving. I see too many guilds dying and not enough "good" players stepping in to replace the people quitting. And trust me, I get it.... Siege has a lot of problems right now but I don't want to touch on them here. This is purely to help people get into top guilds:
- Step 1 is to work on your rune line. This one is obvious and there's no quick fix. There's no way around it so you just have to farm farm farm. One "trick" is to keep really efficient runes just to inflate your line even if they suck. Most guilds will see through this by looking a little deeper, but not all guilds do this work. I also see far too many applications that slack on R5. If you want to instantly improve your application hit R5 for a few weeks and use every single grind that drops, even the blues. You'll bring your line up by a few % very quickly.
- Work on your artis. Again, not a quick fix situation but so many people apply with completely nonexistent artifacts. Focus on the left side artis first and get a good selection of -element artifacts. Keep anything with -20% damage taken from any element. These are the first things we look for.
- Build dupes. This one can be a little tough for people without siege experience, but there are a lot of common dupes that guilds look for. There are nat5's that are obviously extremely strong like: Adriana, Sonia, Camilla, Feng Yan, Leo, etc. But there are many nat4's that we check like Mihyang, Triana, Racuni, Malite, Kunite, Tetra and so many more. Having dupes of these monsters can make your app look a lot better and it tells us you know what you're doing.
- Work your way up. What I mean by this is, there are so many apps we get from people trying to jump from G1 straight into tournament. Try to join a G2 or G3 guild first to get some experience. Maintain a high winrate in a G3 guild and your app will be taken a lot more seriously. Rune line and box are important, but if somebody can show they had a 97% winrate in a G3 guild we'll consider them to be a stronger player than somebody who is 90% even if they have a stronger box.
- Learn to Macro or express that you're willing to learn. This one is tough because macroing is a tiring and thankless job. But most guilds are looking for macro help. Even if you're not the main macro, a lot of guilds are willing to take you and train you so that they have a backup. Obviously this tip isn't helpful for everybody, as you need to be online a lot and able to watch the map. But as an example, our guild just accepted somebody with a low rune line just because he was willing to macro for the last 3 hours of the day when our other macros head to sleep.
- Learn the Meta. Most of the top guilds want their applicants to know some basic counters to the current meta. Make sure you're prepared to tell them (or show them) how you'd beat certain common defenses. Like, right now if you don't know how to beat Chandra/Byung/X or Nana/Byung/X or Ciri/Chilling/X (just pulling a few quick examples of what's being seen in G3 right now) then you're going to be in trouble. Bonus points if you can prove you know how to beat some of the tougher LD5 defenses like Sylvia or Lora based stuff.
- Keep a good reputation. This one is relatively minor but I think it's worth mentioning. If you're a dick word travels around pretty quickly in the SW community. Our guild rejects at least 10% of applicants based on their reputation. We'll ask around and if there is rumor of them being toxic then it just isn't worth it for us. On the flip side, if we hear somebody is really chill or helpful then we elevate their application.

I installed Atlas OS to improve my gaming PC's performance, but the experience wasn't exactly what I expected. It, in fact, has a good proposal for optimizing the system and really manages to improve the PC's performance. However, everything has a price. Atlas OS disables several Windows functions that you may eventually need to use. Furthermore, the security it offers is, to say the least, questionable. I would recommend Atlas OS only for very weak PCs or for those who use their computer exclusively for gaming.

Whenever I train (mainly pads but also tech work), I often find myself getting fatigued, I don’t run out of breath or anything, my body just feels like heavy, I feel slow and achy as opposed to the start of the round if that makes sense.
I haven’t trained regularly since July and have started picking it back up and want to ramp up my training more but I want to figure out how to overcome this fatigue, my stamina when running/biking is good but I can hardly last 2/3 rounds when on pads.
Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to work around this issue?

I just got my 2 months bloodwork back and have a total testosterone of 1084 ng/dl. The test was taken about 2 hours after applying cream. I've heard that the numbers around the test can be different for cream vs. Injections. Does anything sound off about those numbers as it relates to the timing of the cream application? Personally I've been feeling pretty good but I was just wondering what others thought.
Also my estradiol is 69 pg/mL - does that seem a bit high? I don't think I've felt any sides, aside for some water weight that has been gained (nothing terrible though)

Hey all. Today I was messing around with optimizing my Surveillance Station setup and I came across something I thought might be helpful to others, Continuous + Event recording.
I record 24/7 and I have my recordings set to truncate every 30 minutes. To date this has been fine, as when I've had to review footage I can easily get to the general 30 minute time frame and then I can skip to the marked events in the recording. For recent stuff you can easily skip to events in the camera timeline, but when you need to look back over a longer period it's typically easier to use the search capability in the Recording module where you can filter by camera(s) and event type(s) and other filters.
The downside to Continuous recording is that even when you filter on specific event types in the Recording module it's a multi-step process. First you have to find the truncated file that's relevant and then in that file you have to skip through the events. It's not terrible, but there has to be a better way.
One way is to set the Recording truncate time to something small like 1 minute or 5 minutes. But the smaller you go the more files you'll have to index and review. 1 minute truncates for a single camera is 43,200 files over a 30 day period. Even 5 minute truncates is 8,640 files. Then multiply that by the number of cameras you have. I have 10, so at 5 minutes I'd have 86,400 files over the course of a month. One downside to small truncates is when you need to review longer events that would span multiple files. I've had events happen over a period of 20-30 minutes, so my 30 minute truncate setting worked well, but even then the event spanned 2 files. The smaller the truncates the more files you may have to work through. Again, not the end of the world, but there's a better way.
One solution is to use Dual Recording under Edit Camera > Recording > Dual Recording. Here you can setup a secondary recording stream on its own schedule. Meaning you can set it to record only on events and not 24/7. This will create completely separate short clips that you can review in the Recording module and you can limit it to just the specific event types you want. So under Recording Schedule you can select Continuous for those 24/7 recordings and under Dual Recording you can set the schedule to say Motion or Customize 1 or 2 and select just the event types you are interested in. Or vice versa. You could set your Recording to events and Dual Recording to Continuous.
Now when you go to the Recording module you can filter for events by selecting the camera(s) you want then select Recording Mode > Dual Recording and you'll only see the motion or event triggered clips. This is a handy way to get straight to the action. The only downside is it will require more storage space. Depending on the number of events you get this could be a big nothing burger or you might need more storage capacity. But the benefit is you can quickly get to the events you are interested in and then if you need the Continuous footage to review you know exactly which file(s) you need because you'd have the date and time from the event clips. Certainly this isn't a perfect solution because event detection isn't perfect, but that's why you have your Continuous recording.
Perhaps this is old news for some of you, and perhaps there is yet another way, but it was new to me and I've been using SS for a while now. SS has a lot of features to explore and sometimes it just comes down to taking the time to figure it out.

I recently made a post asking if Elphelt was really as carried as people said she was and now I'm starting to learn the game. I've made it around halfway through the advanced part of her combo trials and I have a very small gist of some stuff to do in matches. I find myself going for a knockdown and using 236P 2P and then going for some kind of mix-up or just using 6P and 236H HS. I'm struggling with remembering and landing combos along with really getting hits on my opponents and beginning my pressure. In neutral I'm constantly tossing bombs or shooting my rifle (if distanced) or going for pokes and the 5H spam move when I'm a little closer, but something feels wrong about it. Lastly, Safe Intoxication goes hard and I unlocked Elphelt's SIGN style because it's simply just better.

I broke the screen like ten years ago, and never fixed it since it was more worth to buy a new. Went to a phone repair shop to transfer the photos to a memory stick but apparently that didn't work, and I have no pictures whatsoever. I had the phone through several of my most important years so there will be a lot of sentimental photos.
The phone responds but the screen is black.
So I was wondering, could someone make me a video where you connect your phone to a computer, and show all of the steps and where to click to make the phone unlock and give permission for a file transfer?
It's a long shot, but I don't know what else to try except for paying someone a ton of money to repair the screen.
