I recently moved and it’s my first holiday season away from family. I’m feeling a bit sad about that so I will go first.
It was thanksgiving, I was 24 at the time? I think. Roughly around there. Of course, my family had been drinking. My neighbor and I grew up next door to each other and were basically like siblings. So when he gave me two tabs of acid, I said “eh, let’s see what this is about”
You guys. When I tell you I tripped balls for nearly 18 hours and googled if it was possible to stay high forever, I am not exaggerating.
I have to admit, my parents are the real MVP’s of this story. I did NOT hide it well, but they had my back. Took such good care of their ridiculous daughter.
I definitely don’t recommend dropping acid for the first time on thanksgiving in front of your family. But it makes a hell of a story lol.

Just here for a vent about the dasher rewards program.
Since they rolled out the dasher rewards program here in Australia, orders have gone to shit, as a top dasher I was getting back to back orders regardless of when I was dashing and how ‘slow’ DD considered it to be, now I’ll sit around for 30-45 minutes before one will come through, even when it’s considered ‘busy’, platinum status doesn’t mean shit, top dashers were at least prioritised for orders especially when it was slow, as a recognition for the hard work we put in to get our top dashers status and now the orders are ‘distributed’ evenly by the doordash system, I’ve spoken with other drivers with ratings that are absolutely trash compared to mine yet they still have orders come through, even multiple orders at a time, absolutely shit program and the need to go back to the top dashers program in my personal opinion
