- You are not old until you are literally geriatric- don’t ever feel too old for anything. “You look good for your age” is a backhanded compliment and never accept that.
- Growing older is a privilege. Do not stress over it! There are others dying every day wishing they could live the life you have.
- Treat yourself like you would your best friends and loved ones. Be kind and patient with yourself, always.
- Heartache and grief are a natural part of life. Allow yourself space to feel your feelings and process it.
- Take your time and have grace for yourself and others.
- Find a reason to smile!
- Please nourish your body and develop a skincare routine and healthy lifestyle (diet, exercise, etc.).
- Hobbies are so important and add to your life.
- Never stop learning!
- Life is beautiful and worth living. 30s are so fun! Celebrate every day as if it is your last, and you’ll never be bored.

I have a character that only knows a few select words in a language he's now immersed in. I'm writing third person limited. I've been using a kind of broken dialogue like "Hi....your....name?" to represent that he is only picking up a few words out of the sentence. I'm sure someone else has done this before and probably better. Has anyone seen this done? Does anyone know of any references I could look at? Google is providing 0 help.

You guys, it’s so upsetting to me that someone like her can take such advantage of people FOR A LIVING! She offers nothing special…she’s not a certified anything, but people still just hand their money over so she can build the “Rolls Royce of greenhouses” & go on luxury vacations. Hey all,
I'm heading down to Seattle this weekend for three days and am planning on making a stop at a Total Wine to pick up a couple bottles of bourbon that don't really pop up here in B.C. - nothing crazy, just solid, decently priced shelfers that they take for granted. Honestly jealous of the options when browsing their inventories. Stuff like Old Grand Dad 114, Old Forester 100, Early Times BiB, Four Roses Single Barrel. They recently started stocking the Bardstown Origin series and have some offerings from hyped up smaller distilleries like Still Austin and Redwood Empire, and everywhere seems to have the Wild Turkey 70th Anniversary in stock. Gonna be hard to narrow it down to the 2-3 bottles we're allowed to bring back across customs.
That got me thinking, what would you get? Do you have any must buys or recommendations for when you make a quick trip across the border?
