I posted a few weeks ago about a setup I was going to buy it fell through. No other good deals in the area.
I thought about going for broke and getting the avatar HD. Only problem is I also think I want analog for whoops and generally cheaper setups. So I’m having a hard time deciding what I should start with. I don’t want to actually become absorbed in the hobby and end up with goggles I don’t like.
I’ve considered the sky zone cobra x but after doing some research people say the latency with walksnail vrx is like 75ms. In the world of gaming 75ms is terrible so I can’t imagine it being any better when flying a drone.
My issue with going for broke with the avatars is then I will need something like a rapid fire if I want analog and that’s going to bring up the cost from 458 to closer to 600 which enters hd zero territory and I won’t even have a drone yet.
The drones I have been considering are the lightning v2 if I went digital and the air75 if I went analog.
Going with something like the skyzone o4x would then put me over the price of even the avatar hd. And then I would have to deal with the same level of latency as with the cobras if I got a walksnail vrx??
There’s a lot of information guys I’m having a hard time lol help me please.
Also I’ll upload some footage of lift off in another post. Maybe I should stick to the sim for longer🤷

Hey all, so I just hit the goal of saving $1000. Woohoo. And the classic stereotype of car problems literally happened 2 days later. AC Compressor is out and now the battery is dead.
Since its "winter" here in Houston wife and I are gonna wait on the compressor... but definitely need a battery.
My question is, do I restore it back to $1000 after getting the battery or do I just start paying off debt? Sorry if its a dumb question... Im following Ramsey cuz Im generally dumb with money and life. :/

2024.11.27 21:50 ncpolitics1994 What states will be considered the main swing states in 2028?
In 2024, there was widely considered to be 7 swing states, and the chances of one of the other 43 states flipping were very low. These 7 states were Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia. Trump swept all of them, with the bluest being Wisconsin and the reddest being Arizona.
Some states were closer than expected. New Hampshire was only a 2.8% win for Harris, which was closer than Arizona, North Carolina and Nevada. Minnesota was also closer than Arizona. Virginia and New Jersey were barely in the likely margin range. IF trends continue (and that's a big if), we could see some new swing states in 2028.
I think what happens will obviously be dependent on 1) how successful the second Trump presidency is and 2) if a non-Trump candidate can replicate Trump's gains with low propensity/lower income voters.
I think most of 2024's 7 swing states will be contested again to some degree but I wouldn't be surprised to see Democrats invest more into Georgia than 2024, I think GA will be a must win for Dems to win the WH in future cycles

I am so bummed that i after less than 3 weeks I am almost done with Gilmore Girls. Actually it's been 2 days that I am holding off on watching the last 2 episodes. i don't usually watch series like it, but I thought instead of re reading 7 books of Harry Potter which is my kinda tradition before Christmas, I opted out on it and found something I come to love. Oh being in a small town where things are boring and mundane but people are happy and at peace.. with little duhrama on the side..
it'll be a long ass weekend for me, and i don't have anything on my mind to do so I thought "why not try posting on reddit." here i am, posting.
Before you message, I am not from the US but my body clock follows central time, yeah tell me about it. Girl's gotta work. Just finding someone who I can talk to during the holidays, as I live alone too and got nothing else to do. I speak perfect English don't worry and 3 other languages, or dialects if you may.
All I do is work and go out with friends my age and in between those times we're all so tired and just prefer to be at home, replying sparodically on their texts because hey we've been friends forever. I love reading is an understatement. I prefer older music. I do not do games nor watch animes. Not a movie buff either, I have a life outside home I swear!
I have been blissfully single for more than 5 years, no kids but has 4 cats and an old dog.
Come along and be bored and blissful with me, I swear I could be fun.

Hello, I reached out to my endocrinologist today because I have been having symptoms of peripheral neuropathy in my feet. My endocrinologist dismissed my question and just told me to put my feet up at the end of the night. When I asked her if it could possibly be peripheral neuropathy, she said id it were peripheral neuropathy, it would not be thyroid related and I should reach out to my PCP, not her. Does this sound right?

I had a player steal my [[Harmless Offering]] and was preparing to send [[Demonic Pact]] back to me at the end of their turn.
Harmless Offering says : Target opponent gains control of target permanent you control.
I waiting to play [[Untimely Malfunction]] to change the target of harmless offering to his [[Wishclaw Talisman]] in hopes of him getting stuck with the Pact.
Arena didn't let me change the target of Harmless Offering despite 'Target Permanent' being explicitly in the spell description.
Is there a rule in not aware of?

2024.11.27 21:50 Ok_Appearance_7452 My husky got attacked (again) and I’m sick of it.
 | I’m absolutely fed up with my husky being attacked. I understand that his mask and tail can make him look intimidating or scary to other dogs, but this is happening almost daily. He’s always leashed, wears a Halti, and I make a point to warn other dog owners that their dog might not react well to him. Despite this, many still approach—often some middle-aged man enamored with a husky, dragging his dog over just to pet him. That’s exactly what happened tonight. The other dog suddenly turned aggressive, biting my husky on the sides and trying to get at his neck. Thankfully, my dog isn’t reactive—he just placed himself in front of me, trying to avoid the attack. He’s such a loving and sociable dog, and I’m terrified these incidents will eventually make him reactive or fear-aggressive, which would be a huge problem given that he’s a 75lb husky. I don’t know if I’m looking for advice, reassurance, or just to vent, but I’m beyond frustrated. Even with the easier law passing in 1.8 my economy is always bankrupt and my illiterate population can't staff my government offices so I can't collect taxes. I can't even make schools because I don't have enough admin. It takes several years to learn any new tech, so I don't have the ability to use new techs. I tried to take back Syria from Egypt relatively late in my latest playthrough and Austria invaded with an army twice the size of mine. How do you support an army that large with the Ottoman economy?
Is there some secret to not immediately going bankrupt or being invaded by a country with 300 divisions every time you try to take back Egyptian territory. I feel like I fundamentally don't understand something major, because I am getting destroyed the same way even with the new political system.
