Entendo que muitas pessoas aqui só veem carros como meios de locomoção e um passivo financeiro, e isso não é um problema. No entanto, quase todos os posts é direcionado pra embates financeiros. Muita das vezes o carro representa o sonho de alguém, e a pessoa só quer saber se é possível manter, e afirmo com propriedade que mt dos casos, é possível!
Ainda assim, há sempre quem desencoraje, argumentando e defendendo que o carro não pode representar mais q x% da renda, ou criticando pq é muito antigo e/ou pouco econômico. Embora esses critérios sejam importantes, é bom lembrar que as pessoas já são bem grandinhas, e nem tudo se resume a finanças. Para muitos, o carro é mais do que um gasto, é uma conquista, um prazer ou até mesmo uma parte importante da realização pessoal

2024.11.27 22:40 ricamac Why don’t we see civil suits against Law enforcement result in more outcomes involving injunctive relief?
For example, if I were to win a case involving a violation of my rights by a Police department, and was awarded a total verdict of $10 million, I would offer to reduce my personal share of the award by $1 million in exchange for the Police department agreeing to no longer hire officers who were fired from other jurisdictions, and to screen all new applicants by a Psychologist to weed out volatile candidates. If they turned down the offer I would be able to publicize the fact that the Police department just paid $1 million to avoid having to do that. Not a good look.
Why don’t we see more of this, or is that just not how it works.

10/22 barrel with William’s peep sights and Bell and Carlson 10/22 magazine release. – Sights are in good workable shape and are securely installed (the front sight is going NOWHERE good grief why did I use JB weld). Has factory rear sight as well.
Ruger 10/22 Lasermax laser – replaces barrel band. The laser works and stays mounted securely. Missing 2 screws for it (keep assembly together), label/tape can (and has) worked for me for this. Sold as “parts”, but obviously functional.
All for $50 shipped to your door.

Has anyone tried using a device for measuring hrv and sleep metrics, like Apple watch or Whoop? I am going to try light therapy in the morning to help regulate my sleep schedule. I heard that if your body doesn't get consistent sleep then its ability to fight cancer and infections will be reduced. I really need to heal from my hpv or I might not be able to have children (from repeat surgeries and limited time). Also any other immune system bolstering advice I'm all ears. I have an anxiety disorder (Social anxiety). I think it makes my stress levels high...and I've had hpv for 6 years now despite being monogamous.
