So you know that savings envelope numbers 1-100 and what ever you pick is what you save. Been doing that today I picked 73 couldn’t even get 73 profit I messed up so bad that I let anger get in the way chased so hard and lost just shy of 3000$ all for 73$ I need advice please can someone talk some sense into cause I’m now feeling remorse and anger yelling at everyone but it’s my own fault but they don’t know it. Pleas can someone talk sense to me

This isn't really a question but I believe in order for a book to keep audiences really hooked, there has to be a romantic side plot. Heck, I've seen countless posts online that say they only finished a book just because of the shipping they had for some characters (or even worse cases, the smut). The same thing is happening with TV shows like Outer Banks. The main plot of the show is supposed to be about treasure hunting but I only hear people talking about the relationship drama whenever the show is brought up.
Now, I'm not saying that you have to have romance in your novel, but it seems almost like you're missing out if you don't. Why not give readers an extra reason to stick around. If they aren't as interested with other subplots/main plot, they are bound to at least be interested in the romance if the story isn't poorly written. I've only read a few books that I genuinely loved that didn't have romance involved (most of them being where the main character is by themselves or where all the main characters are the same sex and no LGBTQ stuff is suggested).
But what do you all think? Have we entered an era where romance is the key to successful stories?

2024.11.27 22:40 No_Brilliant_171 Tongue pain after wisdom tooth removal normal?
Hi all! 9 hours ago I had both of my wisdom teeth removed from the top and 2 coronectomies for my bottom two. After the surgery there has obviously been a bit of pain but nothing to crazy. The only thing bothering me worse than ANYTHING is my tongue. The underside and back towards my throat feels super sore and it hurts to move at all let alone drink or even eat anything soft because of the pain with swallowing. Even with the pain meds the wounds hurt less, but my tongue still kills.
Is this normal and if so anything I can do/how long does it take to go away? It's not like it feels like little cuts as much as true straining or deep soreness. Thanks for any help!

Hola, el día de hoy dejaron de funcionar mis controles de Steam deck en mi emulador dolphin, tengo emudeck y dice que se debe a la última actualización, seguí la recomendación para que los controles funcionen, pero no sirvió, he instalado y desinstalado dolphin, y he reseteado los ajustes y sigue sin solucionarse, también he probado a mirar la configuración desde el menú de dolphin y seleccionar los controles de Steam deck, y sigue sin haber solución, alguien sabe que hacer?
