Opinions on work boots within the trade unions Journeyman/laborers What are your honest opinions on Chippewa boots (the American made ones before outsourcing their manufacturing to china) are they any better than thoroughgood boots?… I found an old pair of Chippewas at work boot warehouse recently so bought them to try them out in hopes they might last longer than my thoroughgoods I’m a labore rail worker…. at first they were tough as nails but after breaking them in OMG are they comfy I dare say these are the best boots I’ve ever worn

2024.11.28 00:50 Godzilla_vs_YoMama random crates disappearing from taurus during hauling runs

today I had 4 hauling missions stacked, all picked up from one location to be delivered to 4 others. I load all the cargo, fly to the first location, all good, fly to the 2nd, and I'm missing a crate for that location. I fly to the 3rd, and am missing another, then looking at my contract list I realize that I'm missing most of the crates for the final local. What happened to them? I'm sure I grabbed all the available crates from the original location, but seemed to drop some along the way, so out of the 4 missions, 3 failed. How common is that? Is it possible to play without half the hours put in each day being completely wasted? Arghhh. I've only been playing a week, but so far the answer to that last question is a big no.

First of all, I really want to shout out all the kind people here! I really find it amazing how passionate you all are about this and after reading a few threads here I instantly feel welcomed.
So.. just a few days ago I firstly heard about Yerba Mate and find it very tempting to try. Until then I only thought of Mate as like a yellow/orange soda-like kinda sweet drink (e.g. Mio Mio Mate or Club-Mate) which if I understood correctly is not at all the case with Yerba Mate as it’s more bitter - at least for the first time drinking it until you acquired the taste of it.
After doing some basic googling I came across this „Starter Set“ from a German company called caámate.: https://caamate.de/products/matetee-set-bio-edelstahl-matebecher?variant=44052002144524 (I’m sorry that it’s only in German but I believe the site can be translated)
Even though the Set already comes with 3 varieties of Yerba I’m planing on also getting a pack of Canarias Serena since I heard that it’s not supposed to be as strong as others. I dont drink coffee (seen Yerba being compared to that on here) and the only bitter thing I really drink is Gin-Tonic so I don’t think that I really bring optimal starting conditions for this with me. (Please correct me on anything I say if you think I’m in the wrong!)
I’d love to get some feedback on my possible choices here and if you have other recommendations I’d love to hear about them. (Please keep in mind though that, at least for the start, I don’t want to spend a fortune on this as I don’t really know if I’ll like it in the first place)
