For the Trekkies out there, you know about subreddits like StarTrek and DaystromInstitute. The former is for pretty general, accessible content while the hardcore fans can theorize and geek out at Daystrom.
How do the folks of Puer feel about rebranding the subreddit to foster more in-depth conversations about whites, oolongs, and any other types of tea? At the same time, tea can continue to fulfill it's niche as an accessible entry point for folks just starting in their tea journey.
Following this logic, we'll also need our version of risa. I suspect that the tea memes will not disappoint.

One problem I've seen on FIRE is that many people are using portfolio value to solely determine FIRE age (not everyone, obviously).
eg: "how much do I need to retire" or "is this enough?"
Since many of us are considering early retirement, you should be making income based estimates and multiple estimates for important dates. In the US that would be:
- expected income from retirement to 59 &1/2 when you can withdraw from retirement accounts penalty free
- expected income from 59&1/2 to pension vesting age
- expected income from pension vesting age to social security withdrawal age
- expected income from social security age to spouse's social security withdrawal age
- etc
But how bad is it going to be? You have to calculate it. You can't just wave your hands at your net worth and divide by 0.04.

Hello. I'm not an active flier and had a small concern about my carry-on. I'll be heading to Las Vegas in April and I currently own a Samsonite Freeform Carry-On and I wanted to make sure that UA would allow me to bring it as a Carry-On and not a checked bag being the dimensions are: 23 in. x 15 in. x 10 in and UA's carry-on regulations are: 22 in x 14 in x 9 in. I'm also considering just getting a new carry-on altogether, but if I can keep my Samonsite that would be ideal for future air travels.

Thought I would make a separate post for this in case anybody missed this in the comments section of my last post.
I have managed to find over 50 videos that have been archived online. A lot of these are classics, so there's probably something in there that you can remember watching before.
If anybody else has any extra videos that are not on the list, (like the NNN Day 1 push ups video) please send them to me so I can add them. Here's the link to the archive doc:

I should also add that there are a few videos on here that are still available on YouTube that are unlisted. The "Do 100 Push-up With Me" video is about 8 minutes long on YouTube, but the archived version is 14 minutes. Idk what this dude is up to and why he feels the need to trim large parts of his videos for, but let's just hope he's not going totally insane.

 | I've tried 3 of these RXs and none of them will take solder. By the time they do I've burned up what I'm assuming is the surface mount ESC and the motor doesn't do jack-all. Servos still work, one of them is in a glider build. But, I cannot get a simple coreless motor to spin after soldering. Help!! Hi I’m new to this subreddit, but I have a dog named Jax that I’ve had for 7 years now, and yesterday my family purchased another dog from a shelter she is a husky mix and is the most gentle dog ever. My other dog Jax is a chihuahua dachshund mix and is keen to some dogs, but shows aggression towards this new dog that we have her being way bigger than him they got in 2 fights today which (don’t attack me) but I tried to Re socialize after the first fight but I Just wanted to know if the fighting and aggression will go away?
I believe that Jax is scared of her and that she wants to just play.
Can ANYONE help I want peace and love.
