I’m in a relationship with a Muslim woman who doesn’t fully practice Islam (doesn’t pray, wears no hijab, doesn't pray, drinks alcohol, having dogs as pet). She was raised in a strong Islamic environment (Al-Azhar schools) but became disillusioned after her devout father committed infidelity, which made her see Islamic teachings as hypocritical.
I want to help her rediscover the beauty of Islam and guide her back to the faith. I don’t intend to force anything but to lead by example and support her journey. Apart from all of that I see her as the one for me, how she act towards me, being supportive and everything.
What are your thoughts on this approach? Has anyone experienced something similar? I’d appreciate advice or insights on how to navigate this sensitively.
