 | Im sorry im asking such a thing on here, but i cant afford at the moment to take her to the vet for something that may be nothing. She is turning 7 April 25th and im worried because overall she still has her kitten figure. I feed her the proper amount and plenty of treats. I cant get a picture of her as all she wants are cuddles and doesnt understand staying still! 🤣 For context though she is a very long haired fluffy cat especially very long on her stomach. When she stands(normally not on two paws), it grazes the floor. Im thinking possibly she doesnt need it because of her fluff? But when i graze my hand along her belly theres nothing, just a flat stomach. I know shes not skinny as shes actually slightly overweight because even under her fluff shes a bit wide. Would love some advice on this. My future father in law was very excited about some cheesecake bites he bought for me as a replacement for pie for Thanksgiving. I and my boyfriend both know that doesn’t mean they’re gluten free. I don’t know what to do- do I take some Gliadin X and just eat them? Tell future FIL? Slip some to my boyfriend and tell him I ate them? Advice is truly appreciated. How would you approach this? Note: he is a very accommodating man. He tries his very best and I appreciate him sm but he doesn’t quite grasp gluten as well as someone with Celiac which is expected. I don’t want to make him feel bad but I’m in a very tight spot with this:(

Estimated year of release: 1985-1995
Graphics/art style: Not cartoony proportions, probably sci-fi inspired
Notable characters: 6 player (1 joystick + 2+ buttons per player)
Notable gameplay mechanics: all characters were bound to the screen. if one player was trying to go left and another right they would both get trapped at the edges of the screen.
Other details:
Honestly I might be misremembering it and it may be 4-5 player. This was not a beat-em-up, it was a side scroller where I believe players were shooting enemies and working together. Kinda like metroid but multiplayer. Played it in a collector's garage one time.

I'm wondering if I should take the online AP Chemistry. Although I'm taking 5 APs (Calc BC, Physics C: Mech, Lit, US Gov, and Psych), I feel it's not impossible, as I'm doing very well in all of those classes, not to mention 3 of those classes are 1-semester courses stretched into a year.
I really liked Chemistry when I took it as a sophomore and feel that taking the AP course would be significantly better for me, as I could definitely earn some good college credit.

2024.11.28 01:35 strictcurlfiend What are the best Non-Prog Rock super Progressive songs?
I hear a lot of Genres tossed around with the label "Progressive" on them. I'm talking about stuff like Progressive Pop, Progressive Soul, Progressive Country, etc. However, very very very few of the actual songs are as "progressive" (I use the word tentatively because I don't think that being progressive in the way OG prog was is necessarily the end-all be-all of being progressive) as Prog Rock is, in terms of stuff like song length, multi-structured songs. A genre most people don't acknowledge, but I think is 100% real (albeit niche) is Progressive Hip Hop.
Examples of true "Prog Hip Hop" I've seen are:
- Sicko Mode: Come on, even if it's got Drake on it which people just automatically reject now, it's a great song. Also it's obviously proggy as f*ck.
- Runaway: like the album or not, there's no doubt it's a Prog Hip Hop song. IIRC, even the apple music description of MBDTF calls this a "Prog Rap opus."
- The entire Abbey Road medley: this seems like the definition of Prog Pop, though it might be a cheat because it's at least secondarily Proto-Prog Rock.
- Long Season: obviously Prog Pop, great album.
- Come on and feel the Illinoise!: great song, and it definitely is prog pop
