Supporting tobacco users to quit is core demand-reduction measure of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) and a key component of WHO MPOWER policy package. This guideline provides technical guidance on a thorough set of tobacco cessation interventions for adults, and to support WHO Member States to use evidence-based behavioural interventions and pharmacological ... This needs high quality clinical care, especially in primary care clinics, and hospitals including emergency, critical and operative care areas. The 70th World Health Assembly called for the development of guidance on sepsis prevention and management to support Members States in “Improving the prevention, diagnosis and clinical management of sepsis” [WHA resolution 70.7]. 2 Clinical trials may also be referred to as interventional trials. Interventions include but are not restricted to drugs, cells and other biological products, surgical procedures, radiologic procedures, devices, behavioural treatments, process-of-care changes, preventive care, etc. The WHO Standardized Clinical Form improves care by ensuring a systematic and structured approach to every injured or acutely ill person. There are two versions of the form for Trauma cases and for general Emergency Unit cases, each with a corresponding Reference Card to guide clinician use and ensure data quality. Clinical trials are a type of research that studies new tests and treatments and evaluates their effects on human health outcomes. People volunteer to take part in clinical trials to test medical interventions including drugs, cells and other biological products, surgical procedures, radiological procedures, devices, behavioural treatments and preventive care. The WHO COVID-19 Clinical management: living guidance contains the most up-to-date recommendations for the clinical management of people with COVID-19. Providing guidance that is comprehensive and holistic for the optimal care of COVID-19 patients throughout their entire illness is important. Develops COVID-19 Clinical Management training resources for health workers based on the most up-to-date clinical guidance for online or download hosted on the WHO Academy and OpenWHO platforms. Hosts the global COVID-19 Clinical Management web series for health workers, health researchers and health policy makers.

I have an initial interview for a small pharma company coming up. I have tons of preclinical experience and lots of teaching/presenting, but no direct clinical experience. The TA is in my PhD wheelhouse, and I'm planning to lean into that plus my expertise in presentation and communication. Any other advice? Have any of you, or someone you know, been hired on without direct clinical experience? What would you want to see from a person with my background to make the call that I'm worth the "risk", so to speak?

I came out much later in life as MtF. My wife has been amazing and we’re very attracted to one another and love each other madly. For the past two years since my egg cracked, I’ve identified as transwoman and lesbian.
That said, I’ve found myself looking more at guys when they’re running, no shirt, and sweaty. I feel flattered when some guy (even if judging me as trans) looks me up and down. I even recently was mortified when I fell because I had heels on that I shouldn’t have, and two guys rushed to my aid picking me up and my things. I was embarrassed but thought OMG how sweet.
It feel like my sexuality is changing even if I’m not thinking about romantic stuff with them. I’m now questioning am I bi? Am I actually straight?
Are there others with similar experiences? I’ve read there are but just trying to reason out that I’m not making something bigger than it is.

Hi guys, I’m an 18-year-old dude, and to start off, I have to tell you that the story behind this situation is a cluster f**k. I have a friend who I won’t name, but I’ll call her Angie, and we have a “mutual” friend named Anna. I don’t like Anna, like, at all. Anna used to date a buddy of mine, and they really liked each other until she broke up with him for what seemed like a perfectly valid reason. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, but it still sucked.
However, throughout their relationship, Anna was friends with this guy who I think is just a scumbag. Right before Anna and my buddy broke up, there were rumors about Anna and this guy being romantically involved, and talk of Anna cheating and all that. So, there was a lot of tension, which was crazy, and I didn’t believe any of it. But then, like a week after the breakup, Scumbag and Anna got together, and they’ve been dating to this day. There’s a lot more horrible and horrendous details, but that’s a brief summary.
Anna and Angie have been super good friends for a long time, and I think that’s great. My problems arise when Angie, who has a massive crush on Anna, gets manipulated by Anna and, overall, just mistreated. It’s kind of emotionally abusive. And I know for a fact Anna knows what she’s doing because I was there when another mutual friend told Anna about Angie’s crush on her. Anna says things that string Angie along, making her think that a romantic relationship is just within reach. I know Anna has come onto Angie before, physically. Mind you, all of this happened while Anna was in a relationship with the even more mentally and emotionally abusive Scumbag.
I don’t know what to do. I’ve expressed how I don’t like Anna and why, but Angie just doesn’t listen. What can I do? Can I just stop not liking her?
PLEASE help me. Any advice is appreciated.

First time buyer here. Every article i’m reading about how to avoid scams says to check the seller’s account for age and ratings, but I can’t figure out to even see who the seller is. Some of the offers have ratings in green letters, but when you click on info it says that just refers the view and price. i’m on ios if that matters.
Any advice on how to make sure the tickets are really is appreciated. I really don’t want to buy fake tickets and get turned away at the gate. that would be worse than not getting tickets at all.

2024.11.28 02:55 RealTwistedNetwork I want to enjoy this game so badly, but it’s just making me mad

I already knew the gist of this game going into it and I know what the story is about for the most part. But it’s a real bummer that I can’t enjoy that story because the gameplay is driving me up a wall. Idk how long the prologue is supposed to take me, but i have a little over 3 hours (ik that may seem like very little but i like never play video games) of time into this game and im just reaching the Space (ex) Boyfriend boss. Which is like 40% of the reason im writing this. My team is lvl 7, but it would probably be higher if I didn’t actively avoid every enemy encounter possible. Lemme tell you, those little orange shits that fly around Otherworld, they hit me with the Furious emotion ailment irl. Those dudes are the sole reason I stopped running fades with everyone. As for Space Boyfriend goes, i don’t have a hard time until I get him down to like the last 5th of his health. When he becomes “furious” and unleashes his Balkan Rage if you will and one taps my entire squad. I have no way around it, I don’t get no “Omori did not succumb” message. It’s just wraps.
I just want to enjoy the story without the insufferable gameplay, but obviously that is not possible so imma just have to thug it out and get good. If I must I will go around and start running fades w creatures. What level do yall recommend I be before challenging Space Boyfriend?
FTR; My favorite game oat is Mother 3 where the gameplay is fairly similar and I did NOT have these problems playing that.

I’m on Slynd and totally love it, side effects in the beginning were minimal and tolerable and the medication has done wonders for my cramps. Ive been on it about 4 months and all of a sudden at month 3 started getting really bad headaches. I have a history of headaches, but never for this long. I’ve had one every day for like an entire month. I know headaches are a common side effect of Slynd so just wondering if it’s even possible to get side effects this long after starting it.
