So two years ago I got my earlobes pierced with titanium. They got infected and would not heal so I changed the jewelry to gold and they finally healed. Last Saturday I got my conch pierced and asked for gold but there was miscommunication and my post is titanium. It’s only been a few days but I’ve been debating going back to exchange my post. Is it possible for my body to heal better with gold over titanium? Or did my earlobes heal due to other factors like salt water soaks? My conch piercing feels fine but I just don’t want to prolong the healing process. Thanks!

 | Hi all. Thanks for reading my long post. I’m very confused at to what is causing my laundry floor drain to back-up. So recently moved into a new house that has the laundry in the second floor bathroom. Every so often we noticed water leaking from under the washer and assumed the washing machine was the culprit. After $500 in repairs, it’s become apparent that it’s not the culprit, and we rather just spent money to update parts in the machine. It seems when the machine drains, water backups from the floor drain and overspills. We had a plumber come at a cost of $400 and snake 30 feet into the pipe assuming there was a block somewhere. He said he broke through something and water appeared to be draining well. Well, the first normal load after he left, water overflowed again from the drain. I’m at a loss of what the issue is. I sat and watched a normal load to see what happens in the drain. When the machine drained, water in the floor drain rose, overflowed, then fell back to the level it was before draining. I’ve also noticed the water is sitting in the drain about 3 inches from the top. I know there should be sitting water in the drain/trap, but is that too close to the surface?
