2024.11.28 03:50 barnabyjones1990 External SSD suddenly stopped mounting (1TB OLED)

This is more of a general steamdeck help question but this community seems to be the most responsive sub that I've seen!
I have a 2 TB external SSD that I use to back up my games and save data etc. I use it on my windows gaming laptop and steam deck. Tonight (after working fine this morning) the steam deck is refusing to mount the SSD. I can still use it fine on my Windows laptop. SteamDeck will just say "could not mount this device". I am doing all this in Desktop mode.
Any ideas for how to reset this? I already booted the BIOS and confirmed serial devices are set to xHCI and not DRD.
In Dolphin, if I try to click the external SSD I get an error message that is a bit more useful.
"An error occurred while accessing 'MY DEVICE', the system responded: The requested operation has failed: Error mounting /dev/sda1 at /run/media/deck/'MY DEVICE': wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error". I have been using this device (swapping between windows and steam deck) constantly for the last ~5 months and am confused how this could suddenly stop working (but still working fine on Windows).
Thanks in advance for any ideas to try!

The team loves him and we see how they all respect him. Even with him having them play more minutes than normal. Removing Thibs would literally be the end of this team.
I do agree it doesn’t hurt to have another set of eyes. Fresh eyes to handle adjustments and let the rookies play. Thibs is very stubborn and sticks with what he knows which is the same 6 players. You can’t win a Championship like this.

The trackball turns against the rubber cylinders on the shafts, turns the gears, and these components turn that into mouse movement?

Anybody understand why secondary hits give less xp while shot down planes provide so much? From what ive read its bc SB is auto-aimed by the game so they provide less xp. But aa guns auto aim….
I love my brawling battleships/cruisers but… when im grinding out 30-50% more xp/credits in aa builds it feels less productive. On the flipside theres no guarantee to see a cv w/o making a cv division.
I def wouldnt want it the other way where aa builds werent productive, i just yearn for some equity amongst builds.
