Noticed s significant difference in mass so I weighed them on the kitchen scale. There is 60% more mass to the edge batteries. I'm a long term Linux user (Mint Cinnamon) and I need some advice about Thunderbolt docks.
I want to switch from a desktop PC to a fairly high end Laptop.
I need to be able to pick up the laptop and take it to meetings but when I'm at the desk I want to be able to connect to multiple displays and have multiple USB connections for things like my mechanical keyboard, mouse, external USB drives etc.
However I have read that Thunderbolt docks are not very compatible with Linux.
Can anyone recommend one that works really well?

It’s a little odd, sure, but I don’t think it’s out of the realm of believable. The girlfriend was obviously feeling a little weird about it and second guessing herself if it was actually a toy, otherwise she wouldn’t have mentioned it at all.
If my partner came to me and said “hey, I saw this thing, I thought it was nothing and it probably is but I can’t stop thinking about it, and I feel a little silly but what do you think?” I would 100% go and check it out, if for no other reason than to reassure them.
Am I the only one? 😅

I quit drinking because I cannot moderate. I end up drinking every single day, overdrinking, drinking to cope with my problems, etc.
However, despite the dysfunction, people like me much better when I'm sober.
When I'm drunk I'm funny and laissez faire. When I'm sober I am extremely morose, pessimistic, bitter, angry, passive aggressive, and prone to snapping. I'm either bitter and nasty or depressing and boring. This does not get better. 2 years sober and I was still like this. When I drink, people start coming back into my life again and I take on friends and lover.
it's so fucked up because I actually don't even want to drink. But I feel like I have to not just for myself, but for the good of others.
idk what to do. None of my forays into mental health treatment or AA did me any good whatsoever. I feel hopeless.
