Hey Reddit, I’m Ryan! I’m working on DataScienceHive.com, a free platform for anyone who’s into data science, analytics, or engineering—or even just curious about it. My goal is to create structured learning paths using 100% free content and build a community where people can learn, collaborate, and work on real-world projects together.
The site is still in its early stages (I’m teaching myself web development along the way), so it’s not perfect yet. But we’ve already got an awesome and growing Discord community with 15+ active members who are sharing ideas, brainstorming learning paths, and shaping what this platform will become.

2024.11.28 04:41 SD_Eragorn Bought my friend a 2021 MacBook Pro "Pre-Owned" but he's having this charging issue... any ideas?
Got the Mac started up, only has a cycle count of 11 on it! I am having one issue though.I'm waiting to hear back if he's using a magsafe charger (if that's on the 2021 macbook pro) or usb-c, but ya'll have any thoughts? I'm hoping that he can just take it to BB and do an exchange of the charger without having to do the entire unit cause the charge cycles are so low. The last preowned one we got and returned had almost 300 cycles and just 82% of battery remaining.
The charge cord can't seem to make a consistent, secure connection. The screen keeps dimming and brightening and it will chime again as if it was just plugged in.
Not sure if it's an issue with the Mac or with the charge cord
I tried restarting it and it's still happening. Happens about every 30 seconds - 1 minute.

2024.11.28 04:41 JohnyGhost Should I buy a $3k cash car or finance a 10K ish car? (2nd car for work)
I’m looking for opinions on a second card that I will use almost exclusively for work. I recently bought a new car about 6 months ago and I already put 15K miles. And I just don’t want to keep putting so many miles to my daily. I want a reliable beater that I can drive with no remorse.
What do you guys think?
Context: I am a real estate Photographer and I drive to shoots all day every day. So nobody will drive with me.

I'm on episode 597, well into Punk Hazard, and I have not been enjoying Sanji the past few arcs. It feels like, scence Thriller Bark, he flops back and forth between how he was in East Blue and the worst possible combination of Master Roshi and Joriah but with a degree in culinary arts. I have heard he gets some character development relatively soon (the specifics I'm not aware of and want to watch for myself) but his character has regressed so much I don't know how much good it will do. He started as one of my top 5 straw hats but has scence dropped to my least favorite between Thriller Bark and Fishman Island.
TLDR: I don't really know if this is a hot take but I feel like Sanji has regressed as a character scence Thriller Bark.

Hi, this may be a silly question.
I have a small mortgage with the bank.
Received a cash contribution offer from the bank a year ago. The mortgage is split into two facilities. A 10 year term loan and a revolving credit facility.
My fixed interest rate loan is due for a rollover but I am in a position to pay off the remaining loan sum entirely. My revolving credit facility is already paid in full but I am intending to keep it.
My question is, if I pay off the fixed interest loan in full with a lump sum payment when it moves on to the variable rate. Will I need to repay the bank the cash contribution I received?
The wording of the cash contribution says This cash contribution applies to the following home loan facilities - revolving credit and term loan.
So I will still have the revolving credit but not the term loan.
My gut says I would need to repay the cash contribution. But in that case, it may be better for me to refix the term loan and invest the money elsewhere. Thank you.
