I’m not even sure if I’m searching at all. All I know is there is this ever present gaping void in my soul. Was it always like this? Is it supposed to be this way? It’s not lusting or love or even desire. Those are just the temporary stuffings I tend to shovel inside when the daunting vacancy becomes too obvious.
It’s perplexing that most people who die and come back never speak about how difficult it is to pursue life once again. That deep seated knowing is forever present and the longer you go, the more years that past by, the bigger the “something” grows.
I trick myself into believing you would have the answer to any of these questions. Truth is you couldn’t hang on either. Maybe that’s the whole gimmick? Maybe the ones who take it upon themselves are really the only ones who get out? Maybe they just know or better said remember something we have all forgotten?
I miss your soul. Is that what’s missing? Is it missing at all or has it been absorbed and transformed? Beckoning my own forward….
Forever homesick I suppose.

This is my first foray into what audible calls lit RPG. I just binged the complete series in three weeks and can’t wait for February 11th. Re-listening already to prep for the release and to catch what I may have missed. Discovered the series through recommendations from Bobiverse sub.
I love how often they run through their stats. Donut at xx Charisma and xx Intelligence plus this buff from this item. Carl’s pugilist skill adds this bonus to that attack and etc.
It satisfies some ADHD part of my brain I think. Is this typical of the genre?

2024.11.28 05:30 SteveCrafts2k Let's face it: Yandere Simulator as it is now can't be salvaged. You can try, but at that point, you're making something entirely new. And that's a good thing, so I'm going to do just that.
If I were to reimagine Yandere Simulator, I'm not using 202x mode. I don't think I can salvage that no matter how hard I try.
Wanna know what I can use? 1980's mode. It's a decade I'm not familiar with, giving me prime opportunity to look into it and build story around it. It's more barebones compared to 202x mode, but that barebones nature means I can focus on refining the concepts that are already there, rather than sift through the feature creep cluttering of 202x mode.
As for characters, Ryoba, in my eyes, is a better protagonist than her own daughter, on the basis that she has a personality. It's Alex, so it's not fleshed out, but a personality is there. For the rivals and love interest, I can phase out Kaguya, add in Sumire, and make the rest of them people instead of tropes. I'll have to think on how I can salvage Akademi and Ichiko, but the rest of it, I think I can do just fine.
I'll need to refine my drawing and research the 80's, especially for Japan, but I think I can make this work.

I’m curious to hear what the community values most! Whether it's improved sync, better mobile UX, plugins, or something totally different, what’s your top priority for making Logseq even better? Share your thoughts!
For me personally, my biggest pain point is sync. Waiting a number of seconds every time I open the app interrupts my flow a looot. I had a daily template, that, admittedly was a bit overloaded—but it was taking literally 30 seconds to start up. On every open of the app. I ditched it completely and my load times are only a few seconds now but it's still pretty painful.
