I'm so sick of not having any true friends. I really can't stand being alone another day. I make friends but they don't turn out to actually wanna be friends like they never wanna hang out but say hi when they see me sometimes and it's just kind of sad. I wanna go out and hang out with people. I'm broke (which is another issue) so I can't pay to do stuff but I'm so bored and I feel like if I actually could make friends that want to hang out or do something then it would be better. I ask my "friends" if they wanna hang out and it's always "I'm hanging out with my friends" or that they already got plans which just gives more to the idea we aren't friends even if they say "yeah you can ask me to hang out anytime I'd be down" but they never are. I had some friends that would hang out but they ended up ghosting me (one ghosted me in person and the rest stayed with her cause they were closer to her to begin with) ik I'm bad at socializing it takes me a minute to get use to talking to people but I love talking to people. I just don't know how to socialize I guess and I get overwhelmed and anxious but I do try. I don't think I'm annoying, I hope I'm not, I try not to be. Even then like just tell me don't just ditch me. I don't know what to do, but now the issue is I'm moving in like 17 days so what's the point in making friends here if I'm gonna leave soon anyway. But also in those next 17 days it's gonna be hell cause I have no more school work to do and I will literally have nothing to do like I am gonna go insane being alone and having no classes to attend, no work to work on, and no one to talk too

 | Just found this sub and figured id share something that just happened with my girlfriend, her co worker & I. Me(29M) and my girlfriend(23F) have been together since April. We met at church some time ago. I say that bc I try to get a point across while still being polite. She works at a bakery. There's a guy there named Dylan. Dylan is basically a neckbeard. He's awkward, creepy & cringe. Nobody talks to him I hear because he's just really odd, out there, rude and just strange. Anyways, about a year ago, he got my girlfriends number from another employee and lied about it saying he wanted her to cover his shift. He texted her confessing feelings for her and that he's always starring at her and asked her out on a date. She replied with something along the lines of, "no thank you, please stop starring at me and please do not reach out to my on my phone again. Thanks" Well I guess he just wouldn't give up and begged and begged. She blocked him, told her boss, and they no longer work in the same area. However he still continues to stare at her when she's not looking. Fast forward to this last Saturday. We were at church and she receives a message on WhatsApp saying, "Hey!!!" Followed by, "how have you been? :)" I ask her about it and she tells me the number is popping up as Dylans. She doesn't reply and I get home and message him. I'll go ahead and state my girlfriend was born into the church and I am born again, living most of my life getting trouble. So to message him politely took a bit of effort, but either way I tried to be chill about it all. After I send the message, he texted my gf again and said something like, "Geeze! Sorry! I was jusy trying to see who this was. You popped up in my phone and wasn't sure who it was. I'll never talk to you again!!" Mind you, I don't know how WhatsApp really works. We have it for a group chat for church friends. But what I do know is my girlfriends profile thing has a very obvious picture of her and it has her full name. Not to mention do you ever message someone you're unsure of and ask how they have been? No way. So the conversation proceeds as pictured above while my gf just ignores him. Then I get this random text from her stalker creepy coworker on Monday. Like who the heck does that?! You don't know me, I'm telling you to leave my GF alone. Google is a thing considering you're in your 20's, surely you know how to use it. So on Tuesday I went down to her work, waited for him to leave work and as politely as possible I told him to knock it the F off, stop starring at my gf, stop reaching out to her and I, and just do his job. He said something weird about just trying to figure out how to block her so he wanted my help. Just thought id share it here. Nothing climactic ir crazy.
