AITA for telling my "family" (we simply share blood) that my cousin is 20 years old and regardless of how she was raised to be respectful (her parents are very strict and disrespectful to many, but claim they are good fearing people) does not mean it will last or that you can make your 20 year old tell you where they are going. The "problem" is my aunt's 20 year old daughter's boyfriend sent her an Uber so they could meet up and some was mad saying she is disrespectful for not saying where she was going and that she was meeting her boyfriend, I agreed it was disrespectful, but, I told them she is an adult and that even though she should have told her mama or any of us simply because of safety that she technically doesn't have to tell anyone because she is an adult. They went crazy talking about "you don't know because you don't have kids",and I told them that regardless if I have a kid or not, or how I raise my kid that when my kid is an adult I can't tell them or make them tell me where they are going regardless if they still live with me or not. Then they say "what if something happens to her?" I say that it will be the direct and indirect of the consequences of her actions. So AITA?

Currently rewatching s1 of Arcane and confused or wondering if this is a writing plot-hole, but in episodes 8 and 9 of season 1, Ambessa clearly states to Mel that a "man" killed Kino:

However, in Season 2, it's revealed that the Black Rose and/or a female sorceress committed the act (Season 2 Episode 3 & Episode 9).
Does anyone else think this wording was intentional in suggesting that another party besides the Black Rose or sorceress could be behind Kino's death? Perhaps a conspiracy building in the power system of Noxus? Or do you believe that this was simply an error in writing?

My fiancée dreamed of marrying young and having children, but her parents pressured her to wait until she was financially stable and finished school. She asked me to discuss our plans with them. After returning from my year abroad, I spoke with her parents at dinner, and her father asked me what was my options. I told him that I was ready to quit my job next year so we could marry and start working in my hometown until she finishes her studies so we could get back abroad together. He suggested we revisit the topic next year, while her mother face completly changed and she didn't want to say anything.
A week later (LOL), We met and I found her crying her eyes out, telling me her parents wanted us to break up, and her father met with me later in the afternoon to explain that he and his wife felt I wasn’t the right match for their daughter due to my career’s mobility and their desire for her to stay close to home, that I was in a hurry to marry and that they didn't want me to wait any longer for her because it was too soon for her to marry. Her mother later admitted over the phone that, while she respected me, she was uncomfortable with my family’s religious background and believed her daughter wasn’t ready for marriage, needing to focus on her studies and career first.
We had one last date, where I told my fiancée what her parents had said. I suggested we should break up, especially since I was about to go abroad again and there was no clear future for us. She disagreed, wanting to stay in touch even if we weren’t together. I couldn’t bring myself to say no, knowing it would break her heart. We secretly met in the days leading up to my departure, going on several more dates, and sharing one final kiss and goodbye before I left. For the next few months, we stayed in contact, but over time, I started to feel her distance growing. She admitted that the pressure from her parents was overwhelming, That they were crying each time she wanted to talk about me, that her aunt told her that her mother was sick and depressed because of our relationship and that she missed me but sometimes couldn’t bear talking because it hurt so much. I told her I understood and suggested we stop talking for a while, as it was too painful for both of us. We agreed to check in with each other after two months. Our last message was "I love you."
Now, it’s been a few days since we agreed to stop talking, and I’ve never cried so much in my life. Every few days, either early in the morning or late at night, the pain hits me, and I feel like I’ve lost the love of my life. I have insomnia and I keep dreaming about her or waking up at night thinking about her. It’s gut-wrenching to know that I had to make the decision to cut contact for my own mental health, even though it feels like it’s killing me inside.

I have a ASUS laptop with a D-GPU (3060). After a year of using it I noticed there's a pixel that's dead on my external monitor, so I plugged in a different computer and it was gone. Then I noticed the same exact dead pixel on the laptops screen, same place. it doesn't matter if the laptops running on the CPU's Internal graphics or the dedicated graphics card, the pixel is stuck blueish, most noticeable in darker scenes. Anyone have any clue what would cause this? I'm not sure if this problem is new or has always been, I just noticed it now because it was on a dark movie and now I cant unsee it. Can't figure it out so maybe you got a guess

So a bit of context I have been away from OSRS for quite a while but enthusiastically hopped back in for leagues. My plan was Kourend, Morytania and the Tiwarin with a focus on range. However I missed so many updates. Like I didn’t even know that Kourend favor wasn’t a thing anymore. So I was going to pick morytania because it is my favorite region that I know. However, I feel like jumping into something brand new that I don’t know anything about might be better. I’m not sure I’m capable of beating the coliseum but I’m very interested in the Moons of Peril. I’m two tasks away from my second region unlock and I think I’m leaning Valamore. Any feedback back is cool

The Chair of Bass - The Ultimate Subwoofer Chair My name is Lucas and The Chair of Bass is my passion and moneypit. For the past 4 years building this chair has been nothing short of my obsession, it has consumed every waking moment, spare thought, and dollar i have. All while being entirely worth it. This chair can acheive things no subwoofer I have ever heard can. It can operate down to 5hz, and up to 250hz. All while being theoretically silent in operation, and not interfereing with existing subs or speakers as the drivers are in free air. It is (as far as i know) one of the only headphone “subwoofers” in existance. Not succumbing to the class of theater or video game rigs, while still being excelent at both. Heavily inspired by the pioneer bodysonic chairs of the 80’s and 90s, ( I own a 1986 BSS-780 ) and while its performance is admirable considering its use of 3 rather small transducers, it pales in comparison to the monstrosity from the deep that is, The Chair Of Bass. I have spent hundreds going on thousands of hours sitting in this chair as it progressed, (admittedly some of them asleep) and have listened to everything under the sun in it. I tuned it according to my findings and experiences. The Chair Is Currently Constructed As Follows.
The chair has an ottoman fashioned from an 18” subwoofer with a clear piece of 3/8” acrylic suspended slightly above it using clear plastic risers. The chair itself has an identical 18” subwoofer behind the users back as well as two 6.5” subwoofers behind the shoulders also with clear plastic and standoffs protecting their cones. The armrests are made of tiger wood and are firmly attached to the sides of the chair, which are thick vernired plywood. Held together firmly with 3 mounting points consisting of conduit with wrapped threaded rod inside, clamping the peices together. There are large springs tensioned across the back of the sides. 2 types of springs are used. There is a pad made of different types of foam which is about 3 inches thick, has a heated blanket inside and is covered in black corduroy. There are different densities of foam available for different preferences. There is a Clark synthesis transducer attached to the top portion of its metal Frame. There is an earthquake mqb-1 transducer under the bottom portion. There is an earthquake Q-10b transducer hanging off the end of the plastic top of the 18” ottoman woofer. All transducers and speakers are tuned with a PRV DSP/preamp in line with a 7 channel amp used to power them. They’re all tuned so that the highest frequencies emanate from the top portion of the chair and the lowest frequencies emanate from the bottom portion.

I recently graduated from Singapore Polytechnic as a foreign student and took the tuition grant bond which requires me to work for 3 years in SG. The school said it would be easier to get jobs in SG with an LTVP pass, so I went and got one.
6 months since ive graduated and Im still unemployed. Am I allowed to work at FnB services with my LTVP pass?? Or do i have to get a work permit?
Please be considerate as im also learning as i go. I appreciate any sort of advice I could get, Thank you!!
