I (21F) am struggling with a tough situation involving two people who are very close to me. For some context, I’ve liked this guy (let’s call him Ryan) for about 7-8 months. We were really close, and at one point, I thought there might be something between us. He’s been through a lot, including a long, toxic relationship with his ex, and I’ve always been there for him as a friend.
Recently, Ryan started dating one of my closest friends, Natalie. She’s someone I care deeply about, almost like a sister. The thing is, she didn’t even like him until after he asked her out. And while she claims she feels guilty, it’s hard to believe because, in my opinion, if she really did, she wouldn’t have started the relationship in the first place. Another friend of mine even pointed this out to her.
What hurts the most is that neither of them spoke to me about it before getting together. They’re both like family to me, and I would’ve appreciated being consulted since they know how I felt about Ryan. Natalie saw me crying over this and even asked if she should break up with him for my sake, but I told her it’s her decision to make, not mine.
I did talk to Ryan about everything, though. He asked me why I was crying, and I explained how hard this has been for me to process. He said he understood my perspective and acknowledged it wasn’t easy. We talked about how Natalie and him started the relationship and how some of our mutual friends thought they should’ve taken more time to get to know each other before dating. He told me he loves her (although I’m unsure if he meant it as “likes her,” since he’s not great with grammar). He also reassured me that he understands I need time to heal and process everything.
The conversation made me feel slightly better because it showed that Ryan still cares about my feelings. But it’s still hard to see them together, especially because I genuinely thought there was potential between us at one point.
Selfishly, I wish they’d break up because it would be less awkward for me, but I know it’s not my place to decide their relationship. I genuinely want them to be happy, but I also feel like my feelings were disregarded in all of this. It’s hard for me to picture them together, especially because Ryan was someone I saw myself with.
How do I move forward from this? I love them both, but this whole situation has been emotionally draining. I don’t want to lose them as friends, but I also don’t know how to heal when I feel like I wasn’t considered in the first place. Any advice would be appreciated.

Es un miedo casi o completamente irracional. Principalmente me detiene el hecho de que me siento como una esclava por cumplir con horarios que toman todo el día casi de 12 horas. Me parece nefasto y siento que no estoy lista para sacrificar mi tiempo.
Recién me gradué como traductora y tampoco el trabajo en casa me hace sentir cómoda porque siento que es peor tener que cumplir con un horario en mi propio hogar, es una sensación aún más esclavizante.
Me siento ridícula por sentir lo que siento, pero sé que todos terminamos trabajando de lo que sea tarde o temprano por la necesidad. Y eso me hace sentir todavía más ridícula porque sigo viviendo con mi madre y tengo el privilegio de no tener la urgencia de entrar a cualquier trabajo, pero esto me está carcomiendo y ningún trabajo de mi ciudad me convence, ni siquiera en línea.
Me siento también una buena para nada e inútil.

- I've reading other posts that meals offered in full board is good enough for that day. If that's the case, how much additional food did you carry along with you?
- I am planning to carry electrolytes, nuts/trail mix, some protein bars, instant coffee etc small stuff and debating whether I should buy from US (where I'll be traveling) or should simply buy in Puerto Natales from a nearby grocery store?

 | Idk if may iba dito na naka experience na ng may biglang package na dinideliver sa mga bahay wherein wala ka naman talagang pending from shopee, laz, tiktok, or anywhere man. Please share ano yung ginawa nyo. So si kapatid ko yung nagreceive ng small package (nakapangalan sakin and address sa bahay namin), and nagbayad ng 400 pesos without asking me if may pending ako that day (siya sinisisi ko sa nangyare pero not in a bad way, lesson learned nalang for next time since siya lagi yung may orders). Anyway, wala ako sa bahay that time since working ako, so kauwi ko ng gabi doon palang binanggit sakin ng kapatid ko and doon ako nabigla kasi may package pala ko. But upon checking sa different apps, wala naman. Inopen ko yung parcel, chineck ko, I’m expecting atleast may gamit doon sa random package na yon na magagamit ko kahit papaano. To our surprise, yung laman lang ng parcel is dalawang damit na hindi ko alam saan nanggaling. At first kala namin baka ukay? Pero wala butas butas na, not wearable lol. So ayun, nadismaya kami since 400 pesos din yon hahaha. Pero I’m more concerned sa part na yung pangalan ko and address is alam nila, kung scam man yon. So I’m not sure if yung nagdeliver yung scammer or yung shop na nakasulat kung saan galing, or yung J&T since siya yung courier. Anyway, lesson learned nga sabi ko sa kapatid ko. Atleast next time alam nyang magtanong muna sakin if may upcoming packages ako before bayaran. Please be aware narin if you read this, ugaliin natin icheck muna sa mga apps, whether or not may upcoming parcels ka man or wala, just to be sure nalang.
