I have serious trauma stemming from my rather unusual childhood. Basically, my life sounds like a booktok storyline. My dad was the CEO of a company, and cheated on my mom when she was about 10 months postpartum. My mother was already mentally ill but spiraled when she learned of the affair. She handled it exactly the way you would expect a postpartum bipolar woman to. My dad subsequently won full custody and swiftly told my siblings and I that we were now to refer to our step mom (his affair partner) as “mom” and our actual mom as Kim. I didn’t change the names because this is so specific if they manage to see it they’ll know it was me anyway, so why bother. Anyways, my mom ended up living in a homeless shelter for about a year, before getting government assistance, now she rents a room from a friend. My dad went on to have 2 kids with my stepmom. We have a huge debate about whether I was parentified, if even a little. For reference, there are 5 of us I am the oldest female (1M 1F 1F 2M 2M). I listed gender and if we were second marriage or first. Naturally, my older brother made every attempt to never be home, and I don’t blame him one bit for that. My younger sister found a best friend who was an only child and basically became her sibling, even getting to have her own bedroom at that friend’s house. Though we had nannies, we didn’t always have nannies, and even when we did, they often didn’t pay attention to my younger brothers. So, guess who ended up doing a lot of helping… if you guessed “eldest daughter” you were correct. Flash forward to my step grandma’s funeral 8 months ago. I say step grandma but I loved her very much and felt we had a strong relationship. For context, my step mom, though she insisted we call her mom, had a book of “how to conceive a daughter” when they were trying for kids (darn, didn’t get the daughter she dreamed of) which still bothers 3 of their 5 children, and we all just act like that’s normal? Ok I guess. But my step moms niece (my step cousin, 16f, who is biologically related to my step mom) decided our grandma’s funeral was the time and place to loudly gossip about me, while sitting directly across from me. She was snickering and gossiping about me using “drugs, drinking and smoking” when I was her age. Categorically false, defamatory, and cruel especially because we were at a funeral. When I was 16 I was going from my dad’s country club mcmansion down to visit my mom in whatever unsafe area she was living in, or I was nannying either for my dad, or taking nannying gigs, and of course school or my job as a cashier. I simply wasn’t doing anything she described and felt deeply hurt that she’d been misled to believe those lies about me. So, now my dad told me I’m “not wanted” “unwelcome” and “ruin everything” and that he “won’t be seeing me again” because I confronted my cousin and because my step mom feels hurt that I said I “helped” raise my brothers, because to put it simply, I did. I already agreed to apologize for being too loud, sometimes my voice carries, but to be cut out of the family for defending my reputation? I don’t know what to say. It feels like I put in years of labor to help the family, just for my dad and step mom to try to rewrite history. I’ve tried everything to get through to them and now I feel like, what else can I do? I feel like I want to be petty and post a multi part tiktok speaking my truth to combat the lies, emotional abuse, and gaslighting I’ve endured. WIBTA if I record a series?

English is not my first language so I would like to apologize in advance if what im gonna write is not clear.
I was heading home and was using the metro. A grand mother and a 2-3 year old kid was seating infront facing me. I was seating on that spot first before they came. I was listening to spotify and looking out the window. After a while I noticed the kid was staring at me, and when I look at the kid. The kid would go back to looking outside. Then I went back to staring outside as well. I noticed the kid was staring at me again. So I looked at the kid and the kid looked outside again. So I laugh and the kid heard me laughing look at me and smiled. I smiled back and wave my hand. The grand mother then said something to the kid and looked at me annoyed. I just shrug it off and continue listening to music and stared outside. When I got to my station they also stop there, outside the train the grand mother told me "you should be ashamed of yourself stalking at children". I was like WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK! I did not say anything I stood there for like 30 seconds confused and embarassed 😭.

Greetings! I am disabled & have had a terrible year, with my wife in hospice with terminal cancer. I am mostly bedbound and I can no longer explore the real world, so I explore the worlds of games instead for stress relief, help with anxiety, and distraction from pain & grief.
An amazing friend wants to gift me with a custom built 'dream' gaming computer that can run the best games out there with the most beautiful graphics possible, and hopefully not need an upgrade until I've left this mortal coil. They've given me a budget of 5K or even more to put together the most premium build possible. But it's been 20 years since I built a PC & I don't have a lot of time to research and compare.
I've put together a starter list but would love your opinions. I don't plan to have it built until I can get a 5090 next year, but I'd like to start stockpiling the rest. Any suggestions for better alternates or information on things that have issues or don't work well together would be very appreciated! I am willing to return already purchased parts if I've made a mistake!
Biggest help I need is choosing a motherboard to go with my list. I want an 870E series but just can't decide based on all the videos and discussions. Reliability is my #1 consideration. Couldn't care less how it looks. I have had a bad history wirh ASUS so maybe steering clear there...
