There have been dev talks about how poisonous it is to remove a players agency is. This is 101 decade+ old stuff and you stll f it up?? Thought you were smarter than that Reynad. You knew it would be abused with the haste in the game, yet you just let it ride? why? what were you thinking?

Hi everyone! Throwaway because I’m already getting a lot of unnecessary pushback from said people so I’d like to give as little info about me or location as possible. Here’s gist of the story and info I think I can give out safely.
In the process of opening a to-go restaurant max 8 employees at one time and transient customers only. No dining room or public restroom classified under A-2 occupancy in some town USA and I’m running into some challenges with meeting fire code and building code requirements.
Local code is lazy and they only follow IBC and IFC codes with very little amendments to building part. I will address those if they are relevant but for the most part they strictly follow them now since the fire marshall is new and maybe just trying a little too hard. And local gov is becoming more modernized.
I’m hoping someone with practical knowledge can help me navigate this situation or share insights.
The Situation:
My restaurant will or would have operated in one unit (1000 sq ft) with a neighboring unit (500 sq ft) that I planned to lease for future use. Dividing wall is 2x4 wood stud construction 1 layer of gypsum one both sides inside metal building. Both units are classified under A-2 occupancy.
My unit in particular had already been a restaurant 3 times before I came in over the last 20 years but had been gutted for a retail store in between that time right before I got it but wall had not been changed at all. Therefore I didn’t think we’d be going through all this when we rented the place.
The city and fire marshall initially required a 2-hour fire-rated wall between the units. And we had submitted a request to modify a UL design that would have allowed asymmetrical construction with wood studs since I didn’t have access to other unit and it was going to stay unoccupied because it’s only 500sq ft so I thought it would be the best way around it. I’ve had already removed drywall on my side to add what we thought and what they had initially agreed upon which is irrelevant at this point because they came back 2 days later stating that the only design that they would allow is design (UL U336) is impractical due to costs and space constraints of where my kitchen is already built.
The idea and my main question is since the adjacent unit is currently vacant. What if I just rent it now and have the building owner put it under the same lease. And then we resubmit plans stating that it is part of business but will remain unoccupied and vacant and safety secured until we decide to add that unit into the other side. Then we will draw up plans and have them submitted for approval just like a normal building license should be don’t when doing remodeling.
If we do this does the 2-hour fire rating requirement still stand since it’s not separate occupancy’s and technically just one. I’ve reviewed IBC Section 706 (Fire Walls), Section 707 (Fire Barriers), and Section 903.2.1.2 (Sprinkler Systems). Based on my research the combined fire area is less than 1,500 sq ft (well below the 5,000 sq ft threshold for a sprinkler system). There’s no shared ingress or egress between the units. The units fall under the same A-2 classification if combined and customer occupancy would still be considered as transient because it is still just a to go restaurant and no customers will actually be staying for prolonged amount of time. Just come order and leave or pickup your orders you already placed. Can a 1-hour fire-rated wall suffice in cases where the adjacent unit is vacant and unused until plans to make changes are submitted in the future?
What’s the best way to approach city officials with practical solutions that meet code requirements but avoid unnecessary costs? I’ve already spoken to building owner and he is draining up amended lease to add the other unit but I want some advice before I go to city with proposal. Let me know if you need any more info to make a decision to where I stand and if it doesn’t give too much away of where this is I’ll add it in comments. Any advice, resources, or experiences would be greatly appreciated! I want to ensure I’m fully compliant while also balancing the financial and operational realities of a small business. Thank you!

I am about to go insane. I have a legion slim 5 that one day decided that its 4060 would not consume more than 35w. It used to consume 105w in this windows install. It will consume the full 105w in linux and in a secondary windows install, so the hardware/firmware is fine. I have removed all imits in windows power plan and lenovo power plan (tried both performance preset and a custom preset with literally every slider maxed, and have even tried it with and without overclocking). It stays plugged into the factory power adapter providing the full 230w. I set nvidia control panel to highest performance, and the temperatures are fine. In both furmark 2 and overwatch 2, the thing hits 35w, and my rivatuner OSD says it is hitting a power limit. It is sitting there at half the performance it should be capable of, 60C hotspot temperature and 60C memory temperature. It has a smug little grin on its face as its core frequency won't go above 1250 ish mhz (nothing is limiting this either, haven't touched afterburner sliders) and its power consumtion is hard capped to 35w. I am at wits end with this notebook from hell. I am about to throw it through a brick wall because I am not reinstalling windows on it AGAIN! I am borderline incoherrent with how fed up I am. Help! WTF IS WRONG WITH MY LAPTOP!?!?!?

I’m hosting family for Thanksgiving, and made some of my dishes ahead of time to make tomorrow less stressful - but I think I royally messed up on the casserole. I used the recipe by Salt and Lavender because we all loved it last year, but here is where I messed up: I baked it already, with the crispy onions on top. When I was looking up how long to reheat it the next day, I realized I should have held off on baking it until the day of. Now, my onions will get soggy. I also accidentally slightly burnt the onions because I forgot to set a timer on the oven, like a dummy. It’s not bad, but will rewarming in the oven tomorrow worsen that?
I’m kicking myself because I made a mental note to prepare today, bake tomorrow but it slipped my mind. It’s my 4th year hosting, I should know better.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? Unfortunately, remaking it is not an option since stores near me will be closed tomorrow and I honestly just won’t have time before everyone arrives anyway.

I have 15 sessions of talking therapy on the NHS and want to ensure i use the time effectively. I had my first session last week and it was mainly just 45 minutes of me jumping around several topics barely taking a breath. The therapist asked a few questions and I guess was making notes. But I have my second session today and I feel like I need to think about approaching this differently or I may as well be talking/dumping to a friend.
Any advice on how to plan better for my sessions?
So far I have come up with some goals but even writing these out seems like I might not have the right approach.
Here is what I came up with for my therapy goals:

I have really bad luck on runes and artifacts, and they seem to be the only way to progress at this point. Levelling up and star upgrades aren’t making much difference anymore I’ve got some mythic equipment and engravings on the power horses like Carmen, Sander, Lilith…. I struggle particularly on levels with level caps. It feels like there isn’t much I can upgrade anymore except waiting for good luck. The game is losing its fun. Anyone else experience this?

I am putting 3.7v in, and the board is configured for 3.3v out
and I am trying to use power save mode that it apparently have. Documentation that I found is confusing. As is (with LED removed) I measured the module consuming ~5mA at idle. Too much.
The module has these two PS pads which are for power saving, so I figured I would solder them together, that dropped idle current to 330uA, which is still off from the supposed 60uA it consumes in power save mode, and the output voltage jumps from 3.3v to 3.4v.
Anyone here has experience with the TPS63020 and how to utilize it here?

 | ~ Zubat (Vermillion) -starter Taillow (SarahHokum, iykyk) -Rte 46 ~ Just started a new Monotype run in Soul Silver (w/randomizer). With Zubat as my starter, it was the first encounter of either Flying or Poison that determined my typing, and it happened to be Taillow, therefore it's Flying. I have a Bagon (rte 32) and Togepi (Ruins of Alph) in the box, as they will eventually become Flying types. ~ I enter Sprout Tower to take on the Sages. On the top floor, I run across the first Flying type of the area - a Starly. Both my active Pokemon are lvl 10 at the time of this encounter and this thing almost wipe us (Taillow has -defense nature and Zubat gets crit) while I try to catch it. I immediately realize it had either Huge or Pure Power. On the third ball, Garuda joins the team! ~ I was quite disappointed to see a Bold nature on this Starly. I'm still excited by Pure Power though, whenever I get a chance to use Staraptor I'm always impressed by its base Attack stat. Nuzlockers of Reddit, what do we think? Disappointing combo? Or does the ability outweigh the negative nature? I'm personally inexperienced with team optimization, I am naturally non-competitive so until recently I never paid much attention to natures. 2024.11.28 06:47 ritix__ Majority of PLS not transferred to MetaMask - Stuck in "middle man" wallet
Disclaimer: I am new to PulseChain.
Yesterday, I converted what I had in ETH to PLS and converted the PLS to pSTETH. This worked fine.
Earlier today, about an hour and a half ago, I bought some Solana on SolFlare and did the same process to convert it to PLS. I did a test 0.05 SOL trade to be sure it went in my MetaMask successfully, and it did, so I did the rest the same way. However, none of the rest of the PLS is showing in my MetaMask but the SOL has been taken out of my SolFlare wallet.
When I go to the Activity page on SolFlare, I see the two transactions, the 0.05 one and the one with the rest. They look the same and are just two minutes apart. They go to and from the same wallet. If I click on them however and look at the SolanaFM page, everything is identical between the two apart from one thing.
That one thing is when I click on the wallet (which from what I understand is kind of like a middle man which takes the SOL from my SolFlare wallet and puts it in my MetaMask), there are two transactions for the 0.05 SOL and only 1 for the rest of the SOL.
The 2 transactions from the 0.05 SOL are as follows. The first one is by by SolFlare wallet and the second one is by the "middle man" wallet which I assume sent the SOL to my MetaMask.
However, the single transaction of the rest of the SOL only has the transaction by my SolFlare wallet. This leads me to believe that my SOL is in that "middle man" wallet.
My question is how can I continue this process to get the SOL to actually go to my MetaMask and be converted to PLS. I would hope there is a simple way to do this and it's not just stuck there, but any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I think many do not realize what metavision really is, saying like "Rin already had metavision there" or the other person probably getting it because it's just "IQ and field awareness" but that's not it.
Isagi already in Team V vs Z had that kind of "metavision", both him and Rin used it continuosly from that point on and probably other players too in a weaker form.
The Metavision as achieved by Isagi is conscious and constant usage of it, Isagi now uses it 100% of the time, that's the skill of metavision, being able to ALWAYS use it.
Rin can have insane moments of metavision like quality but that doesn't mean he has metavision ( who knows, maybe he STILL doesn't have it ), the idea that he made some insane play understanding all components does not mean anything, Isagi could do it back in team V vs Z and did he have metavision then? No.
So I think when someone gets the metavision eyes it shows that they do it consciously or unconsciously, can continuosly use metavision and uses them constantly, it may even be Rin even now doesn't have it because he went destroyer mode and simply uses things like predator eyes / metavision on instinct but not continuosly ilke Kaiser or Isagi.
For someone to get that meta vision eyes it means they ALWAYS are using it, not that they use it only when they have the design on their eyes and if they never showed metavision eyes it simply means they cannot constantly use it, because metavision is not the "IQ and field awareness", it's constant and continuous use of it.
