I’ve never lived with cats before until I moved into a place with three cats. I like cats and have thought about one day adopting one or two but this experience is making me honesty disgusted and disillusioned.

  1. If a cat poops (I think it’s poop at least) in the litterbox, I have to evacuate the whole room. It smells fucking awful and the smell get stuck in the area. I have to cover my nose with my shirt just walking by.
  2. The cats fairly consistently vomit hairballs in random places (at least once a month but up to twice a week).
  3. All cats have had poop stuck in their fur AND MY ROOMMATE USED THE KITCHEN SCISSORS TO CUT THE DRIED POOP-FUR OFF THEIR BUTTS. I don’t care if the scissors are later washed, I’m not using them.
  4. Sometimes the dried poop falls off their butt and onto the floor. This is so fucking gross. It happens so often.
  5. One of the cats will just come up and bite my leg for what I assume to be no reason? I think a she is hungry and has learned that if he bites she will get fed? I never feed her though and she has done this to me mainly at night if I’m in the kitchen but has done it to me in the morning when I’m in my own bathroom. I work hard to respect the cat’s boundaries so it really pisses me off when she bites my leg.
Now onto some roommate stuff, which I’d like advice on how to bring this up in a way that won’t be offensive: My roommate dumps the leftover wet cat food from their previous meal into the sink and doesn’t wash it down the drain. I think the leftover food should be dumped into the trash can but I can understand why one maybe wouldn’t? But what I don’t understand it leaving it there. It just grosses me out. My roommate bags their poop from the litterbox and puts it in the kitchen trash. Although it’s bagged, the kitchen trash reeks within an hour. I was so confused why the half-empty kitchen trash would smell foul in a way I never experienced before until I saw my roommate threw a heavy plastic bag full of cat shit into the kitchen trash. This is so gross and I don’t want to smell it as I prepare my own food. It’s also embarrassing. I had my fiend over the other night to cook dinner together and right before she came my roommate dumped the bagged kitty waste into the kitchen trash. I had to take out the not-yet-full trash while we cooked because the smell was so awful every time we had to throw something out.
I need help. How should I confront this? Is my disgust an overreaction? Maybe I just don’t “get” cats?

I told him No it’s not funny and that is personally hand him and his family an ass beating if they continue to talk about my nephew like that. my sister then calls and tells me i’m not allowed to see the baby. I stood up emotional and heartbroken and angry, on the phone i said out loud maybe people shouldn’t be talking like some pedophiles , i said it loud as i looked over to the MIL , handed the phone back to my mom, and i started yelling in the lobby. i lost it. i yelled “YEA CUZ PEOPLE CANT STOP TALKING ABOUT A BABYS PENIS THIS LADY IS TALKING ABOUT BABY DICK GUYS A BABYS DICK LIKE WHAT THE FUCK” and i stormed out of the hospital , walked and walked and had my bf pick me up eventually. Currently not speaking to my sister , i have her and her man blocked. i just feel very hurt and scrutinized for trying to protect my nephew, and everyone in my family is talking amongst eachother about how im crazy. That's why they announced the futures listing today instead of the much anticipated spots listing. I wouldn't recommend selling because timing the market can be tricky and massive pumps can come out of nowhere, but this is the time to DCA. So in short: Expect more dips the next few weeks, but just know this ride is barely getting started.

To give a bit of context: I (22f) have been on a pretty good date with a guy (25m) lately, I think we really clicked that day and hooked up the next day. There were some Initial difficulties with the sex but nothing major (probably just usual difficulties that come with having sex with a new person) and I'd say I enjoyed myself and he communicated the same. We have been regularly texting since and wanted to meet up again but both had some scheduling issues. Nevertheless we regularly texted, sexted, and exchanged nudes for the last three weeks.
Lately he hast cancelled two of the plans to meet up (one for sickness and for the other he initially said that he wasn't sure if it would work but he would try) and we we're supposed to meet up today instead. He suddenly stopped texting me for the last three days however. I've sent three messages lastly, two on the day he last responsed asking whether or not we will meet this day and if I can cook for him when he comes over and the third one yesterday evening when he is normally online asking if everything is okay. I can see that he has been online since and he read only the first of the three messages.
I'm very hurt and confused by suddenly being ignored like that. I would just like to know if anything happened in his life that caused this or if I've done something wrong. I feel the need to resolve this somehow, especially since if he has a good reason for this I would still really like to see him again. But I still mostly would just like to know what is going on. Should I send any further messages or just stop responding? And what is appropriate to text? I've really tried to not text him too much, but it also has been emotionally bothering me not to know why he does that and whether or not he will get back to me.
I also don't have a lot of experience with dating, and this has been my first hookup. Is this a frequent experience? It just felt really out of the blue for me :(

Discoloration Hello all! My nails have looked like this for a few months. They did a couple blood tests and things came back normal. So I’m healthy- just curious what this could be, vitamin deficiency maybe? They said it could be blood under the nail- until recently I tore my nails instead of cutting them. What I don’t get is that on a couple of them the brown part is advancing and is very thick on my middle and ring finger. For reference: I’m mid 20’s male, a little porky (losing weight has not made a difference), and in generally good health. Thanks for your insights in advance!
