Total first world problem. I’m really trying to get on with it and am a lifelong insomniac. I was recently on amitryptaline for pain and slept like I was in a coma and I got down to my lowest sleep debt ever (2.5 hours). I was genuinely thrilled. I sleep on average 7 hours a night with a lot of getting up etc. I feel defeated using rise - 1 bad night of sleep and my sleep debt shoots up 9+ hours. It doesn’t feel like with this metric, it’ll ever be possible to get on top of. It’s decided I need 9 hours and 45 mins of sleep a night based on past data but I’ve NEVER slept that well in my life. I feel set up for failure.
I’ve read a lot on here from over a year ago. Just wondered whether I should ask for my money back.

I am 21F non engineer. I did my b.com from Symbiosis Pune. One of the best college in India. In second year of college 2023 I thought preparing for MBA. So I took online coaching started studying for CAT and got only 45 percentile. Although my way of studying was very poor I gave my best. (P.S. A little background I have been a average child who have faced thousands of childhood trauma )
Gave my second attempt this year I know I fucked up in the exam this year as well. Currently I am doing a job. Doing a job for 9 hours and then studying is hell difficult ( Idk how work experience folks do it ) But as told earlier I am facing mental health issues. I know it and I feel still I am being very harsh on myself by over pressuring myself.
As we all know CAT is a play of consistency, discipline and mental bandwidth. I can play around consistency and discipline. But mental bandwidth? Tbh I have no mental bandwidth. If I score less in even one topic test I start panicking.
My close friends and family members say that I should drop MBA and do M.com or any other masters course and take a break in life, and heal all the past traums first.
I have been a fighter since childhood. I have never ever gave up in life especially in academics ( after class 10th). Idk what do I do. Should I go for cat 2025 or just do any other masters course.
Your advice might help me out of my dilemma . Please suggest some good masters course as well. It might help me :)
