First work post grad trauma!
Dear everyone!
So I have this job, very well paid for a first time job. But! My previous manager has haunted me for the last year or so. She micromanaged, said I wasn't fit to be in this field and made me cry several times over and over. My team had a ton of seniors and I was one of the few graduates. I've having difficulties gaining my confidence back. I love our new manager, but since the previous manager mouth trashed be to everyone in management I feel such a bad vibe.
I need advice on how to move on mentally or whether or not I should move on physically and start over at a new job in a new company.
Points for staying: - I have an ok relationship with the new manager - the team had a huge turnover and everyone is almost new (newer than me) - and I like them - I will get more responsibility at some point and be able to develop - my pay is very high
Points for leaving: - possibly bad reputation amongst management - what if I may not be good enough for this field? - I might not get a promotion right away or anytime soon because of my "bad reputation" - some of the seniors left in the team are very dominant and loud and suppressive towards people like me

Starting to hate my ex, she ended things with me but I felt she had valid reasons so I wasn’t against it but I still wanted her to stay. It’s been nearly 3 months, and I’ve been trying to heal and throughout this “healing journey” I’ve realised a lot of things, not just about what her reasons were but the things that she did and said that is making me think that she may have been toxic in some way. During our relationship I became a hermit and felt less confidence about myself in general, I didn’t see myself the same and I’ve been working on gaining more confidence and getting out of my comfort and I’ve done more stuff in the 3 months we weren’t together than in the 1.4 years we were together. I’ve tried really hard to just forget but I can’t. SHOULD I UNFOLLOW HER ON SOCIAL MEDIA??? So I stop myself from constantly checking it??? I don’t think I’ll be able to delete her number just yet.

So today my parents and I were just sitting and talking and along the conversation I asked them what should a women do if she is being abused by her husband? Like what do you think I should do if in future it happens with me. My parents especially my father started saying that I should watch less phone or focus more on my studies than on this "faltu" things(I am 19) , I am deviating from my actual goals ,etc etc. And also things like he is afraid I am thinking these types of things at this age what will happen when I will cross my 20s( I don't know what they think I should be thinking about at this age)
My mother totally supported him and also said that a relationship will only work when one is calm when other is aggressive and therefore you have to adjust in these types of matter. "Kisi ko niche jhukna hota h"
I am horrified , I know they were little bit conservative but I didn't know the depth , my fault though I never thought to talk to them about these matters and their opinions on them and it just scare me for my future .
Am I overreacting?! Like maybe they were right about me not focusing on those things at this age ?just wanted to know

Hey guys! First time poster, long time lurker! Wondering how to deal with a new lady at my work, she’s mid 50s and about 5 years experience in the field. Me and most of my coworkers are 27-38 with 8-15 years experience. Plus being long term employees. We’ve all had run ins with the arguing with us, believing she knows the people we support better than us, glaring when we are doing something she wants to be doing, making snarky comments and generally just being plain rude. Our manager is aware, but it’s getting so frustrating for us. For me I have extra tasks to do on top of my daily work that need to be done weekly and as any extra admin bits I’m asked of.(all jobs given to me by upper management) To which he gets visibly upset that I do.. I understand thats she’s older and may believe she is better at the job but she is still training..
Any tips to deal with her?
Cause some of the team is at the point they may blow up at her. (And when we blow we absolutely blow)😂 We are community support workers that work with a number of different people with different abilities and behaviours every day.

 | Collected this C43 estate yesterday. It has the new engine ie same as the A45S Previous car was an E53 coupe First impressions The ride, the handling are way better. This feels like a nimble car rather than an elegant tourer. Much easier to manoeuvre and place. Straight line performance feels similar. Engine doesn’t have as much character but just as startling when you put your foot down. Tech and ergonomics are very good - much better than the fiddly controls in the E53. Finally I have radar cruise control. And massage! Questions: There’s no dial for the internal light dimming? What do I lose when the 1 month free trial expires for Digital Light?
