We've seen the election results, just like you. And our response is simple:
WE'RE. NOT. GOING. BACK. This community was born eight years ago in the aftermath of the first Trump election. As BlueMidterm2018, we went from scared observers to committed activists. We were a part of the blue wave in 2018, the toppling of Trump in 2020, and Roevember in 2022 - and hundreds of other wins in between. And that's what we're going to do next. And if you're here, so are you.
We're done crying, pointing fingers, and panicking. None of those things will save us. Winning some elections and limiting Trump's reach will save us.
So here's what we need you all to do:

  1. Keep volunteering! Did you know we could still win the House and completely block Trump's agenda? You can help voters whose ballots were rejected get counted! Sign up here!
  2. Get ready for upcoming elections! Mississippi - you have runoffs November 26th! Georgia - you're up on December 3rd! Louisiana - see you December 7th for local runoffs, including keeping MAGA out of the East Baton Rouge Mayor's office!! And it's never too early to start organizing for the Wisconsin Supreme Court election in April, or Virginia and New Jersey next November. Check out our stickied weekly volunteer post for all the details!
  3. Get involved! Your local Democratic Party needs you. No more complaining about how the party should be - it's time to show up and make it happen.
There are scary times ahead, and the only way to make them less scary is to strip as much power away from Republicans as possible. And that's not Kamala Harris' job, or Chuck Schumer's job, or the DNC's job. It's our job, as people who understand how to win elections. Pick up that phonebanking shift, knock those doors, tell your friends to register and vote, and together we'll make an America that embraces everyone.
If you believe - correctly - that our lives depend on it, the time to act is now.
We're not going back.

Oi,meninas. Eu gostaria de expor uma situação pessoal e pedir conselhos para vocês. Tenho 23 anos e ainda sou virgem, nunca nem beijei ninguém na verdade, nem fui a um encontro.
Eu tenho muita vontade de namorar e casar um dia, mas tenho muito medo até de tentar isso, porque ainda sou virgem e não me sinto nem um pouco pronta para fazer isso ainda, só de pensar em fazer isso sinto pânico (não, eu não sofri nenhuma violência sexual). Tenho medo da sensação da coisa em si.
E eu sempre quis que minha primeira vez fosse com alguém em quem eu confiasse e amasse do fundo do coração, um amor de verdade, sabe? Alguém que se importe de fato comigo, alguém que me deixe tão confortável a ponto de meus medos desaparecerem, pois eu confiaria o bastante nele.
Eu acho que até eu me sentir confortável num nível pessoal e num nível da relação (de sentir que esse amor é real e sólido) vai demorar (não vai ser dentro de 1 ano de namoro não).
Além disso, sou espírita e acredito que sexo é uma manifestação do amor e de intimidade, por isso não quero fazê-lo fora desse contexto.
O problema é que, eu tenho medo de ninguém me querer se eu não quiser transar, ou de ninguém querer esperar muito tempo ou ficar tentando me convencer a fazer. Já baixei alguns apps de namoro (nunca mais faço isso) e conversei com alguns caras sobre ser virgem, a maioria falou que acha que "não vai demorar tanto tempo assim". Me deu um ódio tão grande, pqp, vai demorar sim caralho, eu não quero fazer isso agora, não quero fazer isso tão rápido. Não só porque tenho medo, mas porque EU NÃO QUERO.
Algum conselho para lidar com esse medo de ninguém me querer e começar a ter uma vida amorosa, daqui para frente? (Ah, eu me recuso a namorar caras da Igreja, porque eu não concordo com outras coisas que eles defendem, como submissão feminina e homofobia).

I am in desperate need for a new phone. I don't like spending a lot of money for these things, especially since there are so many good options for fairly little money. But I don't know what phone would be a wise choice to go with since I've never had much knowledge in this area.
I've had the Xiaomi MI 10T Pro for 4 years now since I had the recommendation from a friend of mine and was pretty satisfied for these years. Now I want a solid allrounder with good photo and video quality and a long battery life (optionally also a good gaming performance).
My max budget would probably be around 900-1000€ if it really is worth the price. Also I would consider switching to apple if it is also worth it.
I would be very thankful if someone with knowledge could help me out.
