2024.11.28 13:00 towerbooks3192 Planning to get the more expensive lands / ramps , Which ones should I prioritize?

I practically have most of the creatures / odd ones are on their way. Most of the other spells save for the big ticket items like [[enlightened tutor]] , [[deflecting swat]], etc. I got the basic ramp and land package (sol ring, arcane signet, etc) and some of the lands which are:

[[needleverge pathway]]
[[Sacred Foundry]]
[[Spectator Seating]]
[[Flooded Strand]]
and of course the basic lands. I know that stuff like mox diamond, chrome mox (might get it but not top priority/ seems unreachable) , mana vault, and lands like plateau are definitely out of reach for me. I think I might be able to get the search lands but I want some advice on how I can make this deck playable without the expensive lands (i.e what should I replace them in the mean time with what I got from precons like those tap lands or something like [[elegant parlor]] , which I already got in my other deck).
I also want to know that should I be crazy enough to attempt to get all cards, how should I prioritize getting ones that are most impactful / could be used on a lot of other decks? I think I might get at least Cavern of Souls since it seems to be good for tribals. Maybe get City of Brass or Mana Confluence too but I will appreciate any advice I could get from you guys since I cannot get all in one go for they are too expensive.

In my company, we have a "everyone reviews PRs" policy to speed up deployment; even me, a junior. It's not optional, it's actually one of my obligations.
So, I have this coworker that posts overall decent code, but sometimes I see parts of it that can be improved. When that happens, I post a comment on his PR, but I only request a review if it's in dire need of change. I'm not snarky about it, I always tell objectively why that part needs to change and provide suggestions.
Well, on his last PR, I found a convoluted 15+ lines function that could be converted into a single liner. I requested a review and politely showed him that. Well, not only did he commit a "fix" that did not address this at all and then requested a re-review, but he then proceeded to revenge nit-pick one my PRs. It was a single line that was very much not harmful and it wasn't even me that implemented it, it was there months before my commit and it just got into the changelog because of a refactor.
Out of curiosity, I checked my last non-approving reviews on his PRs, and to my surprise, he never addressed my suggestions -- in fact, whenever I blocked his PRs, my tech lead proceeded to ignore the reviews and force-merge them. I actually think he's not doing it this time because he's on vacation right now.
How should I proceed now that I know that? I've already decided I'm not going to review his PRs anymore. But what about this current one? Should I approve it or stand my ground?
Also, what should I do to protect my standing in the company if he intends to sabotage me?
