 | So a few weeks ago I started developing these white cuts on my lower gums, under my tongue and on my lower palate. When I grazed my tongue on the scars it hurt and when I’d try to move my tongue to a corner of my mouth the scars would feel tight when stretched and hurt. I have a picture of one under my tongue. Then I started a listerine gingivitis mouth wash and my gums have started peeling (picture attached as well). Yesterday after brushing my teeth and using the mouthwash I woke up to a completely swollen lower lip. Particularly swollen on either corner. Na reditu i ovom sabu, ljudi hvale i govore samo najbolje za jednu ordinaciju za tretman odraslih, kontaktiraio sam ih, da bih saznao da "Odrasli" su samo do 25 godina. To zaista ne razumijem, i bas me je razocaralo sto ne mogu dobiti pomoc od te ordinacije, s obzirom koliko sam vidio pohvala i dobrih ocjena.
Ali sad me zanima, je li to normalno u medicini, ili su oni izuzetak? Da li da kopam dalje po internetu, da li uopste vrijedi gubiti vrijeme, ako se za ADHD u Srb tretiraju samo ljudi do 25 godina?

"[ERROR] A hanging Promise was canceled. This happens when the worker runtime is waiting for a Promise from JavaScript to resolve, but has detected that the Promise cannot possibly ever resolve because all code and events related to the Promise's I/O context have already finished."
It's working fine on development and production mode however, when I deployed the project to the cloudflare workers, It can't access to my database I guess. I set the env variables, deployed exactly how opennext docs says but it's still not working. How can I solve this problem?

Hey Leute,
Vielleicht kann mir jemand mit eigenen Erfahrungen eine Info geben.
Wir sind Häuslebauer in einem Neubaugebiet in NÖ und haben bei Netz Niederösterreich um Netzausbau angefragt. Derzeit steht nur ein Stromkasten dort, der als Baustrom fungiert. Die restliche Infrastruktur muss erst errichtet werden.
Nun haben wir den Antrag im Juni gestellt und haben innerhalb der drei vorgegebenen Monate ein Netzanschlusskonzept erhalten und das Netzzutrittsentgelt bezahlt. Das erhaltene Konzept war jedoch ein totaler Planungsfail weil anscheinend kein Mitarbeiter der NÖ Netze eine Vor-Ort-Besichtigung durchgeführt hat. Nun warten wir in Summe seit knapp einem halben Jahr und haben weder ein brauchbares Konzept noch einen Planungszeitraum erhalten, wann die Arbeiten schlussendlich durchgeführt werden sollen.
Hat jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht oder weiß, an wen man sich (rechtlich) wenden kann? Wir haben bereits mit der zuständigen Fachabteilung in der NÖ Landesregierung und Konsumentenschutz gesprochen. Waren alle nett, nur helfen können die angeblich auch nicht.

Can we get a "case" to store our cannons in? Would be nice for presets to be able to hold all 3 in one inventory slot, the mouse over could show all 3 with "ready" "deployed" or "destroyed". Could have a right click option to retrieve deployed cannons or deploy favorite, and a customize option to set one of the cannons as a favorite (whichever is most convenient). I think this could be a really cool reward space for one of the highest invention level unlocks, from a quest, or from artisans respect. Open to suggestions/tweaks!

2024.11.28 12:32 SuitOfWolves Help with "Reasonable cause" for my case?
I’m reporting my company to the Workplace Relations for a number of issues. But when the case goes to a hearing, I will need a reasonable cause argument for one issue in particular. This incident occurred over 6 months ago and I reported the matter. I was wronged and I had proof of it. But I still had a suspicion that the supervisor in question would be able to get away with what he’d done based on the way he acted. I got a reply email (from a manager) to my report stating “I would welcome you [and your union rep] in, to discuss [with myself and the supervisor’s direct manager] a way that we can all work better together”. It was basically future focused… they wouldn’t want to put in writing that they were questioning a supervisor’s behaviour… fair enough. On the day of the meeting my union rep told me that the manager who’d emailed me was pulled away! It was just the direct manager of the supervisor, who’d be good friends with the supervisor. He let on that he had not read the email but started uttering the same rhetoric of “finding a way we can all work together” that the other manager had typed. I insisted that he read the email before we started to talk so that we could have any discussion on that premise. It was interesting to me that the other manager didn’t attend because I’d reported this supervisor to him for the same issue 5 months before that, and it was ignored.
During the meeting when pushed for an answer on the wrong doings of the supervisor, he’d say things like “this is all sprung on me” and “look, I just want to find a way that we can all work better”. When the pressure was piled on more he eventually said “from reading your email your complaint seems reasonable, but from reading this other email it seems unreasonable”. I said “well hang on now, let’s find out which is more credible” and referred back to the proof I had in order to get to the bottom of it. Deep down I knew there was no point in having a meeting without that supervisor being present, but I tried to tell myself that the company would have a process for dealing with the matter, and that if I was proved right, that they’d assure me that they’d talk to him for his behaviour. I was also slightly afraid of him. That supervisor wouldn’t have enough respect for me to admit he was wrong, but he’d have been more intimidated by my union rep, and I would’ve like to see that rep take him on, on my behalf given that he was in the wrong. During the incident itself I had needed to call my union rep who called the supervisor, and in this meeting the union rep revealed some of what was said during their phone call.
My union rep told me that I wouldn’t have enough to bring a case against the company … He also revealed that the supervisor was a member of the same union. I’m now replying on him to give evidence, yet one of the few arguments I’m able to think of for reasonable cause is that my union rep misinformed me. But then again, that was before the employee relations manager began his cover up… and seeing as I’ve proof of that, I now believe I’ve more on them.
I reported the matter to the CEO, who delegated the task out to his head of employee relations manager who was not based locally. He called me and we had a chat and he said he’d look into the matter. He emailed me two weeks later with a predetermined decision in favour of the supervisor. It seemed the supervisor had changed his story upon being contacted by this non-local manager (it went completely against the things the union rep revealed to me about the phone call). It was so hard reading those lies that I nearly felt sick, but I couldn’t help but sent a reply email debunking it all, which of course got no reply whatsoever. I got no response to this. I later watched the company dignity and respect at work video on their app, and the way this matter was handled completely violated it. So my only other grounds for reasonable cause would be that I made several attempts to resolve the issue myself, which were all ignored, as well as the fact that somebody so high up in the company so have more responsibility. So I reckon I might stand a better chance if I didn’t take a case against them because of the initial incident, but because of the way it was covered up. If I were in that manager’s shoes, regardless of what opinion I had, I’d be able to see that if the matter is to be settled properly it would have to be done locally.
I heard another employee give out stink to a supervisor after he was cursed at and he threatened to report him to the CEO. It was that that gave me the idea to take the matter to the CEO.
Luckily this is only one of the issues that I plan on reporting them on.

I was recently diagnosed with hpv and abnormal pap smear results. Scheduled for colposcopy in a couple weeks. I'm still working to understand what all of this means, though I did speak with a nurse briefly.
I told my partner as soon as I found out, wanting to be honest. We have been together for several years. The only thing they heard, was that I have an sti and must have contracted it while we were together. In other words, the only way this could have happened was through me cheating.
I have been faithful during our entire relationship. The last person I had been with was prior to him. I researched information and even the most basic of searches tells you that hpv has a dormancy period which can last months or years. I know it's highly possible that I contracted hpv prior to my current relationship. I also know that he could have contracted it and never known. Though he swears he's been tested in the past and would have known if he had it. Even if that's the case, it's likely to show up negative as it did for me prior to my recent pap smear. He won't hear any of it. The only thing that makes sense to him is that I was unfaithful. He is currently saying we are done and there is nothing I can do. I keep throwing information at him, hoping at some point it will be realized that I'm not lying.
Is what I'm saying really that bizarre(having abnormal pap smear and hpv positive while in a monogamous relationship) ? Am I delusional for trying to convince him that I was not unfaithful? Isn't it entirely possible that he carried the virus as well unknowingly(he's had partners prior to me)? I'm truly lost and defeated.

Putting together an acting camp this winter for kids in 5th and 6th grade. Each day we'll watch a scene from a film, then in groups they'll choose characters, make props, create a twist ending (if they like), choreograph their scenes, and perform them for each other.
Would love to hear thoughts on good scenes for them to act out. Live action or animated, all are welcome. Funny scenes usually work better than emotionally wrenching ones. 3-4 character scenes are often best, but we can also adapt scenes with other amounts of characters. The students are learning English, but they are pretty eager and open to most scenes. Ideally not too much violence as that can digress into chaos perrrty quick.
Below is a list of films that come to mind so far - if you have any favorite scenes from these (or other films), let's get a nice repository going.
