I have a CCJ out against a business that scammed me and after asking HMRC not to let them dissolve the company, they have now dissolved it. Now they are trading under a new business, almost identical in name (using an extra space between words) and I have been told debt collectors cannot do anything now that the original business has been dissolved - even though it's the same company they are running and using to scam people. I'm mostly frustrated that there is nothing I can do to avoid others being scammed by these people!!
Any advice is really helpful. I don't really know what to do in this situation!

Me and husband are in two different camps here! He is very much ‘don’t get emotionally attached to anything, don’t even consider that it could possibly be successful until we are holding the damn keys in our hand’, and I’m very much ‘we just got an agreement in principle! That’s a small win in itself! I can’t wait to view houses!’
Basically he’s an eternal pessimist and I’m an eternal optimist. Both have their downfalls. We probably balance each other out to be fair 😂
I just feel it’s stressful enough as it is and I’m totally aware that things could go wrong… but ultimately those things are out of our hands and worrying about them doesn’t change whether they will happen or not. He is worried about having our spirits crushed and dealing with disappointment which I do also think it’s valid. Where do you stand on celebrating the wins, even the tiny ones, in the process? Maybe the compromise is that we cautiously celebrate, like with a little hug or something, then focus and move on!
