Je sais pas vous mais je trouve que c’est devenu l’enfer de conduire dans cette ville.
Il ne se passe pas une journée sans que je vois une folie sur la route.
Pas plus tard qu’hier en 1h30 d’auto j’ai vu 11 infractions qui ont crée du danger (dont une que j’ai subi, une queue de poisson sur St Michel en plein traffic).
Y’a t’il une association ou un collectif capable de faire une protestation directement à la mairesse? Ou en tout cas de quoi faire un recours ou une action, je ne sais pas.
J’aimerais y participer, et je sais que beaucoup de mes collègues seraient intéressés.

Here’s a guide to drafting a strong employment agreement that protects both you and your company:

• Lay out what the employee is expected to do in specific, measurable terms. • Include clauses about performance reviews or probation periods to evaluate suitability. - Probation Period Clause
• Always have a probation period (3–6 months). During this time, termination can be easier if the hire doesn’t work out. - Termination Terms
• Specify grounds for termination: poor performance, breach of confidentiality, misconduct, etc. • Include notice period requirements and whether compensation is due during the notice period. • Address post-termination obligations like returning company property or maintaining confidentiality. - Intellectual Property (IP) Ownership
• Ownership of Work: Clearly state that all work created during employment belongs to the company, not the employee. • Include a “work-for-hire” clause ensuring any intellectual property (designs, code, patents, etc.) developed by the employee is owned by the company. • Add clauses to prevent employees from claiming ownership over innovations developed using company resources or during work hours. - ESOP Clauses

Disclaimer: This is not a rant on Kannadigas or any community. I have lived in Bangalore out of my own choice knowing everything about the city has to offer good and bad. This post is just about my experience so far.
28M, SWE working remotely for an european startup (contract)
I left Gorakhpur at age of 19. I've stayed in different cities around the country Noida(4 years) for college then Pune(3 years) then Bangalore (2 years). I've had my fair share of good and bad experiences in all these cities. In this post I'll explain pros and cons of moving out on personal level and It has been only 1 year so it might be very short period to comment. I'll update this in the future if I feel differently.
Pros: 1. More family time. Staying with parents has made it easy to look after them. My father is 64yo and mother 60yo. 2. I come from a comfortable family background(my father did good for us) so, staying at home and doing a remote job means that I don't have to spend a penny out of my pocket for home expenses. I can spend leisurely on vacations or invest it. 3. We live in the prime location of the city.
- Airport is 3.5km away(Daily direct flights to Bengaluru(1), Delhi(5), Kolkata(1), Mumbai(1) and Hyderabad(1))
- Railway station is just 1km away
- AIIMS is 2.5km
- Smart Bazar is 2km
- My dog is loving the new home he got. We used live in 1400 sqft 3BHK in Nikoo homes 1. It's a big upgrade for him. We used to spend a quite significant time waiting for elevator there.
- Road conditions are far better than Bangalore.
- Networking/Bonding with workplace colleagues.
- Socialising/Partying with friends on a daily basis. Although I know one can't keep up that kind of lifestyle always. I would like the occasional meetups. Taking a flight to Bengaluru/Pune/Delhi is always an option though. I do have school friends here in Gorakhpur who never left Gorakhpur. It's difficult for me to hangout with them.
- I used to go on hiking and camping trips often. Thinking of going to Nepal to do that. Border just starts at 60km from here.
- Exposure to capitalistic world. Zepto/Blinkit hasn't reached here yet. Staying in Bangalore meant that we always were the first guinea pigs for any startup to test its hypothesis.
- Road disciple is bad. Even Bangalore taxi/auto drivers seem to be good drivers here.

I was selected for occ 248 and unfortunately sprained an area around the ball of my foot 1.5 weeks ago. Starting to feel better. I plan on not running for another week or so, in total will be about 3 weeks of no running while I have been swimming/cycling?
Is 5 weeks enough build up time to get my running fitness back before ocs or am I cooked?
