So, my classmate wich happens to be my bestfriend has a girlfriend, my bestfriend has like 3 years of intensive gym and is literally jacked, we live in a small town and everybody is intimidated by him, a month ago somehow i met his gf in the local park, we talked a little but nothing important i thought, but she gave me her number so for the next weeks we started seeing eachother everyday until one day we kissed, and i know if we dont stop we will get in trouble but unfortunately we didnt stop.. So another friend saw us 2 sitting one day one a chair and he told that to my bestfriend, and for the last weak i get beat up by him every f-ing day, i cant stay straight because my back hurts and just the feeling that you know i will get beat up again is killing you alive. Today during a history lesson i decided to vape, i usually do this at every lesson, but somehow the teacher saw me, and now i cant live with this fear and stress that he will tell that to my parents, and my parents are already upset on me because of my bad grades, i even got into a fight with my new girlfriend i just cant do this anymore i need some help please

Hey humans. Just wanted to share a bit about my life as someone who used to be really addicted to cannabis for a long time without acknowledging its impact on my life, my creativity, and my joy.
It’s been over two years since I have been healing my relationship with weed, and growing up in montana and oregon it was easily accesible and a huge part of social culture. i surrounded myself with stoners because i didn’t know any other way to exist. id been using weed since i was 12 on and off, and became a heavy user during and after high school. i thought it made me creative and relaxed etc. anyways.
Today I am traveling europe, and almost the entire time been sober or occasionally having some wine. I’ve had so many beautiful, transformative experiences in the full conscious presence of my body, and i just wanted to share this experience with you all who are struggling to find hope. I write poetry, sing, enjoy nature, make art and love and i don’t need any substances to help me get there.
Your consciousness is a gift, a powerful force. So is your self-compassion. Be kind, patient, and keep building the life you want to have. You are loved by the earth, and deserve to have a beautiful relationship with your body, mind, and surrounding life.

Hey guys,
The itinerary is starting to take shape, but I need some help with Hokkaido:
We’ll bring our avalanche equipment and boots, but we plan to rent skis/boards there. We have 5 days in Hokkaido, followed by another 5 days in the Nagano area.
For Hokkaido, I’m considering two options after we arrive in Sapporo and enjoy the winter festival:
Option 1
Rent a car and head to Asahikawa (5th-9th February), leaving on the 10th. (My dad and I are used to drive in the snow, so that should be no problem)
Questions:
- Do we need touring skis or split boards, or will there be enough off-piste terrain in the surrounding resorts that do not require extra walking?
- Which resorts would you recommend for a trip without touring equipment?
- Do you know any guides offering 1-3 day programs?
Stay at one of the bigger resorts: Rusutsu, Niseko, or Furano for the whole trip (5th-10th February).
Questions:
- Which resort would you recommend?
- Do you think touring equipment is necessary for this option?
Any first-hand experience and/or advice?

tl;dr: I am always reading in this sub that I should never use Docker Desktop and never run Docker on Windows. Why?
I develop on Windows. I rarely use Linux, only when I need to ftp or ssh into a server to set up a cronjob or check some logs.
I only recently got into using Docker, running an API on DigitalOcean. I set up Docker Desktop on my Windows PC to test my code and then deploy it to DigitalOcean. It all works well. I have also set up an open-webui container to run small LMs locally via Ollama. That works well too. Why should I find a Linux solution and not just keep using Windows?

General suggestions on their motivations & getting them to understand that their work quality really matters would be great…

I'd rather not give too much attention or more than a picture to this crap game that I traded in for 5 of my best favorite games about 13 years ago because I was broke and wanted to play something new.. Final Fantasy, gta, zelda and more! Traumatic! I still get angry and sad when I think about it.. I played this game for about 30min and realized it was crap, maybe the worst game ever made for ds? Said it's in my apartment like a kind of dark curse.. maybe it's the root of my financial problems etc?? I REALLY WANT to not have it at home anymore... BUT! maybe there is someone who can find something in this game?? I will give it away if necessary..including shipping, as long as I don't have to see it anymore... Black women, like all women, deserve love, respect, and support. Some Black women come on here and other forums seeking relationship advice, just like everyone else. Dating and relationships are different for us. Though many of you will understand why I’ll still go right ahead and explain.
We’re often told that we should focus on ourselves and decenter men, but I think that idea can be damaging. For Black women, society already places a heavy burden on us—telling us that we aren’t “good enough” and that we shouldn’t aspire to the same things others do. Whether that’s attending an Ivy League school or landing a high-level job, there’s constant scrutiny of our achievements, often through the lens of stereotypes like affirmative action or “DEI hires.”
What bothers me is when Black women shame each other for wanting love and affection, calling each other “pick-me’s.” The truth is, women are built to be loved, supported, and cared for. We deserve attention, affection, and validation, not just from society or our communities, but also from the men in our lives.
We shouldn't feel pressured to decenter men just to prove our worth. It’s not about making men the center of our lives, but recognizing that love, support, and healthy relationships with men are part of our well-being and happiness. Black women deserve to be loved on their own terms, without shame or judgment for wanting the same things everyone else desires—love, success, and respect.
