I lie a lot like an abnormal amount and I don't know why. Just today, I spilt coffee on my bed and while I was taking things out to clean it my mom asked me why I needed them and I said I'm gonna clean the carpet?? She asked what was on it and I said I didn't know, just something. Or when I broke my glasses like 2 weeks before by mom came up to me and asked me when I broke them and I said a week ago. OR with my friends when just a completely random story I make up for absolutely no reason. When i was in elementary school too, when everyone would ask if we did something as long as everyone says yes I'd also say yes, doesn't matter whether I actually did it or not. I'm always lying sometimes even to myself and I don't know how to stop it. I'm so embarrassed to admit this bcz it's such a horrible trait i have but I really want to become better.

I think my pregnancy hormones are trying to flare up my overthinking, and I suddenly remembered a friend of a friend, who passed away while giving birth, 5 years ago. At that time, I wasn’t even married and it was just sad to know it. My friend had told me her blood pressure had suddenly risen while pushing, and she had passed away. Suddenly now, I am terrified. I tried to look it up online but can hardly find anything reassuring. How common is it? Is there a way to know beforehand if something like that’s gonna happen? Y’all will get it: I am more worried about my babygirl than anything else in this world.

The base games of all the souls games feel pretty well balanced and generally fair but playing through the chalice dungeons for the first time, the same cant be said here. It seems that most of the chalice dungeon content is reusing base game enemies but pumping their HP and attack power ten fold.

Yesterday we came home to a large box on our porch from Amazon addressed to my husband. The bottom of the box had white tape instead of the usual Amazon brand tape. Inside was another box which also looked like it had been open and resealed, and inside THAT box was a VERY expensive comic book set (over 200 dollars normally, close to 150 on sale currently).
We both checked our order history in case we somehow bought it on accident, and nothing. We reached out to friends and family and none of them had sent it. We checked our bank account for a similarly priced transaction and nothing.
I looked up receiving random packages on Google and heard about brushing scams. My questions are:
Is this a brushing scam? Pretty expensive item to be sending willy-nilly
If it IS a brushing scam, what if anything is the danger? It SOUNDS like we basically just get free stuff for fake reviews or to push inventory, but are we potentially in danger with our Amazon account, bank account or credit?
Finally, if we report this to Amazon, will we have to return the item? Luckily enough it is something my husband is interested in, so he'd like to keep it if he can.
Any insight is appreciated, thank you!

After almost 2 years of healing I finally feel refresh enough to be back at working full time again.
I had 2 years break from my last work and it crushed me hard. I really didn't like that I wasnt seen as a person nor could I treat someone as a person, it is as hierarchical as in forbidden city.
I was fighting internally to accept this is how it is and i hated that I became the person I didn't like. I had a hard time moving forward in the past but this job actually helped me to see where to look at in a company that I need to avoid.
I started looking for jobs a year ago and rejected a few offers due to various reasons, income, culture, the vibe, package etc.However, now I see through it more clearly that it is OK to choose a career less paid to be happier.
Those were my own decision, along with other rejections i started losing confidence due to not having a job yet.
I understood 2 years break doesn't look nice on my CV but I am thankful i got the time to work on myself.
So redditor, did you guys also take long breaks from work and how did it work out for you? Is there a necessity I need to cover it up(given I worked part-time during this time?)
