I had a bad end to my marriage earlier this year and was feeling crushed. I had not really looked at another woman in years and hadn't been meeting new people, so it felt like it would be impossible to meet someone new in my everyday life.
So, eventually I looked around to pick for a dating site to join, and all I found on Reddit and elsewhere was that dating sites were pointless for men because women get thousands of swipes and men get none. It made me depressed and at first I didn't even try. It felt like I was trapped in this little world I had created for myself.
But, I decided to give it a shot and joined bumble. I had low expectations and didn't put a lot of effort into my profile, but I actually got some likes and then some matches and messages. It's been almost two months and I've met four women, and it has been a great experience. I actually stopped swiping on new people a few weeks ago because I've seen each of the women multiple times, and one of them I am getting more serious about.
I'm not making this post to brag, but because everything I see is that online dating is a disaster, but it hasn't been for me. I haven't paid money, and I recently got my data and only like 4.5% swipes on me were to the right, so I'm not some kind of anomaly. There is reason to hope for meeting new people, practicing social skills, or maybe even meeting a new partner. Also I'm not a shill for bumble, haven't tried any of the others.

can you suggest me good gpu to run 40-50x more instances? currently using igpu with unlimited gpu vram set
but feels getting sluggish with normal browsing/windows file explorer in background, i can feel stutter sometimes, i cant add anymore more than 12+ bluestacks instances further my pc would become unresponsive.. not sure what causing bottle neck and slow downs?
does getting discrete gpu will fix this?
specs: ryzen 9 - 7950x 32 threads 16c 64gb ddr5 6000hz 1tb ssd + 4tb hdd

2024.11.28 14:40 NecessaryHunt2504 Worried to play anymore of the story
So I’m around 25ish hour into the game at the moment and have seen a lot of posts about bus or soft locks around the mission I’m about to do. I believe it’s around the swaps area and being told to go to clear sky. I have been blasting through side missions or hunting for gear, all I want to do is play more of the story but worried I’ll end up getting locked out and losing hours of gameplay.
Do you think it’s worth waiting for the update to drop and attempting it then? I’m playing on the series X so unfortunately no mods or anything to bypass theses bugs (if there’s any mods ofc) the game is great! The devs seem to be responding to feedback and such so I have no problem waiting for an update!

Hello,
I've been storing some clothes and stuff at my friends place, only to discover the horrible aspects of CB. the friend have had presences of CB and I am planning to bring those home soon.
Though it would seem like friend hadn't seen the CB for a few weeks (2-3 months even, thanks to exterminator), it's snowing soon afterall. Though I remain vigilant, I would like to know how you would proceed about bringing stuff home.
I've left them at the friend's place, in cardboard boxes, elevated on a shelf. it contains shoes (patent leather), outfits (cosplays, lol) made out of polyester, and some plastic bags and such. There's also one or two pieces of clothes that are made out of cotton, but the vast majority are made of synthetic material.
So how would you approach this? get a plastic bag, wrap all of those things in it, and wait 2 weeks? put things in the dryer max temp? does soap work?
