So many homecoming this season yet i am most excited about ash returning to csk and maxi rejoining us . For old times sake i would love to see some banter between maxi and ash . I can already feel the heat in the stadium. Ash on chennai wickets in their conditions is lethal but maxi on the other hand just doesn't care and he'll go for a reverse sweep on the very first ball . 2024.11.28 15:50 Bumpkie KZ Castor (Improved Bass) tuning issue.
Hi, I'm new to IEMs. Just got my KZ Castor (Bass Edition) yesterday. When I unboxed and checked the sound quality (without any EQ), I was pretty impressed. But, as I started listening more, I noticed the harshness and distortion on the higher end frequency. This is my first IEM, so I'm not sure if it's the issue in general or issue with mine. And these cracking sound happens on max volume.
Anyway, I use "Wavelet" as my main go to EQ. I tried to use Auto EQ of Castor Bass Edition, it seemed to fix the issue, but the sound was very artificial and lost a lot of details. So, I decided to make custom Auto EQ using Squig. After spending hours, I managed to find the perfect configuration for my ears. I tried to play the songs using the imported Auto EQ, the issue is no longer there. The highs are no longer too extreme for my ears even at Max volume. The mids sounds good.
Now, can anyone please tell me is it common for this IEM? Should I return the item or keep using with Wavelet? It seems to fix all the issues and make the sound just perfect. If any Wavelet user here, can you please give me your configuration of Auto EQ?

Or should I look into getting new breaks. The car was a loaner so I assume people drove it like shit before I got it but google says break pads should last like 30,000 miles.

I have a thermalright phantom spirit 120 evo and 6 silent wings pro 4 140mm fans in a NZXT H7 Flow (2022) case.
If I put 3 fans on the front for intake, 2 fans up top for exhaust and 1 fan on the rear for exhaust, is that a good setup? Is there any concern about the 2 top fans exhausting cool air too quickly or is it better to just have 1 up top? Are there any other more optimal setups? Thanks for any info.

I am new in this hobby. Recently I bought a Trimui Smart Pro and a Miyoo Mini Plus. Obviously, I checked Anbernic but I feel that this brand makes consoles without "soul". I mean, the mid-high price range look very good in terms of power, price and materiales but the entry range looks really generic, except the rg35xx h, all low price models look like plastic toys and I feel that miyoo and Trimui take more care of the aesthetic aspect in my opinion. Even the new Trimui bricks and myoo flip look really nice. It is just me or it is a general thought about Anbernic. Have a nice retro day!

Would it be worth it to upgrade to the pro 2 or the pro 3 brewhead? I am interested in the pro 3 because of the brewchamber being thinner would make it faster to preheat it, but some people do not seem to like that feature I also haven't seen anyone talk about using the pro 3 on the signature frame, so I don't know if there are any issues with that.
