SO...im making a game that was inspired by doom and Dani's Karlson. The core mechanic is that you play as a robot that can replace its limbs with other weapons and you can customize your "load out". Like a laser rifle on your right arm, a beam axe on your left, speed on your right leg and jump height on your left leg. Im still thinking of more ideas for limbs. You fight your way through rooms and escape like Karlson.
You obtain limbs by cutting them off of boss robots that you defeat. It sounds really cool and could be really fun to make but i need some feedback and ideas from you guys since im quite new to unreal. I used to work with unity but made the switch recently.

2024.11.28 15:30 subOtter3365 DF54 vs Sette 270 vs Manuale [<£250]
Looking for a grinder under £250 for my new Sage Bambino plus. Was looking at the DF54, Baratza Sette 270 and Eureka Mignon Manuale (all under £250) but open to other suggestions. Will only be using it for espresso and espresso based drinks and planning on single dosing.
I prefer medium - dark roasts more which is why I was leaning towards the Baratza Sette 270 however have heard mixed reviews on build quality.
The DF54 has some good reviews however wondering how it is for darker roasts? I am just starting out in my coffee journey and not sure if I’d even be able to tell the difference between flat vs conical burrs.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Landed my dream job after moving halfway around the world. Doing my best to be kind, professional and hardworking. The role suits my qualifications and experiences and there is good potential for career progression within the organisation.
The problem is the people. Or rather, the workplace culture. There seems to be an unspoken agreement that managers don’t have to do any real work. When people don’t know how to do something they pass the buck and are very quick to point the finger when trouble arises. Those who speak up about issues or make suggestions on improving efficiency are penalised and shunned. The head of the team is best friends with my manager outside of work, and my manager has made it clear she doesn’t like me. No idea why. But I feel like I can’t go to either of them about anything because they have it in for me. No amount of good work seems to get me any recognition. Favouritism is rife. Passive aggressive emails are a near-daily occurrence and leave requests are always met with vague threats of not having a job to come back to.
It’s been 2 years of this and it’s been getting progressively worse. I’m starting to wonder if this is some kind of culture clash (I’m an expat/immigrant) or if I am somehow the real problem here? It’s been doing a real number on my mental health. I’m quite hurt by it all. I started out with such high hopes and good intentions and I now feel disillusioned and broken.
Do I stay and hope it gets better? Or know when to give up and leave a hopeless situation where I have no real control? I have nowhere else to go (unless I take a huge paycut and/or leave corporate all together).

2024.11.28 15:30 ThatsJustWacked Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy (Theory on how Part 6 - Sekai Takai Tournament ending)
So after seeing some ideas, I’ve come up with how Part 6 will end:
1) Robby and Axel will continue their fight from the 5-0 score. Robby will finally be focused and give Axel a fight and make the score 11-6(Axel winning). Then Sensei Wolf unleashes beast mode in Axel and significantly hurts Robby such that Robby can’t fight anymore. Johnny sees this and remembers what he did to Larusso with the leg. Miyagi-Do loses.
2) Seeing Robby hurt, Sam doesn’t wanna fight Tory given that their friendship is repaired. Miyagi Do is eliminated.
3) Johnny takes over Cobra Kai and Miguel is new captain and fights Axel. I can see Johnny and Miguel reciting “Strike First, Strike Hard” as Miguel gives Axel a fight of a lifetime. It goes back and forth. Then, Johnny says “No Mercy”, Miguel looks at Robby and unleashes hell on Axel to defeat Axel.
4) There is a tie. So Sensei Wolf fights Sensei Lawrence. Wolf kicks the crap out of Johnny. Then Johnny has his flashbacks from Season 1 and gets up and puts up a good fight to redeem himself. Johnny comes back (You’re the Best Around plays in the background). Then the final moment, Johnny looks at Sensie Wolf and Axel and then sees Kreese and remembers how Kreese turned him into what he was just like Sensei Wolf turned Axel to what he is. Johnny then looks at an injured Robby and sees how his son is hurt on the sidelines. Johnny says “Mercy” and in Miyagi fashion, nose honks Sensei Wolf to win.
That’s how I see the Seikai Takai ending. Your thoughts?

Gina's only downside is making jokes about Amy, but Amy doesn't help herself by trying to get her approval all the time. She's mean to Boyle, but then Boyle goes and does the same thing as Amy, and people still blame Gina for their relationship when Gina clearly doesn't care. She stands up for the whole precinct most of the time, more than most people, and she actually gets the job done. So what if she makes snide remarks? that is her character, Charles often makes these jokes to Terry but no one ever says anything because he's lovable.
She is a narcissist but that's what made her famous, she got to where she is from hard work and being the way she is.
