So the ROCD has been kicking my ass the last couple weeks, it was at bay beforehand where I would have a thought and be upset by it, but 3 hours later I’d have forgotten what the thought even was.
We have a 4 month old baby, it is our first baby, we’ve been stressing about baby things and money a lot recently and then last week found out our flatmates are moving out earlier than expected. Cue my wife becoming slightly petty about it. That was a week ago.
Now I’ve started seeing things that aren’t there. My thoughts are telling me she doesn’t appreciate me enough even though she does things that show she does (like making my lunch and dinner, buying me snacks without me asking, doing the washing and all that) Last night we had a argument because she found some dishes I had washed weren’t washed properly and rather than apologising and saying I’ll try better next time I responded by basically gaslighting her for pointing it out by saying “I feel like you don’t appreciate the effort and only ever point out the things that are wrong and that reinforces the thought that I can’t do anything right” keep in mind this is all happening while a baby is screaming. I now feel that all hope might be lost in this relationship because my self-destructive thoughts are just getting worse. I’m so exhausted…
Am I overreacting? Is this even ROCD?? Or is there an actual problem?

Look, i love this game, i loved it from when i first started playing the game back in april. Since then i have clocked a little under 3000 hours into the game and im MR23. BUT! the amount of game breaking bugs is actually insane to me. the necramechs FIRST ABILITY had been broken for years since recently meaning leveling it beyond 0 for the first time is actually abysmal. On the other hand profit taker makes no sense with the hitboxes on her legs and that she sometimes will just be in the ground. Garudas 4th ability literally locks her out of parkour stuff if you spam it alot, like, THE MOST FUN PART of the gawd damm game man. That is to name a few....
DE i love ur game, i love the community and im super hype for the 1999 content, but really? when i fundamentally cant play the game is it really gonna be fun in the future?
Anyways, feel free to tell me your gamebreaking bug experiences, i do hope you fix some of the worse bugs DE

Hi everyone, so exactly one week ago I had extreme pain in my right ovary that felt like my appendix burst. I know it was most likely an ovarian cyst rupture. I had the same thing happen months prior and went to the E.R. They told me they saw free fluid from a cyst rupture and that it’s natural and there’s nothing to be done so they sent me home. I did more research and apparently doctors don’t really care that much about them. Anyway, last week when it happened I just curled up in a ball in agonizing pain for hours. I had an annual obgyn appointment the following day which was convenient. I explained what had happened and my long list of symptoms as I have been battling so many different health issues this past year trying to find connections. She didn’t even let me finish my second sentence and judged me for having a non hormonal iud. I explained I tried every single form of birth control and I reacted weirdly to hormonal forms (severe mental health problems) and the copper iud has been the best one for me. I knew I had ovarian cysts on the hormonal one years ago too. They were just very spaced apart, unlike this last year. I just didn’t care that much when they burst because I never get taken seriously and I am always sick anyway. I also had an appointment to get an ultrasound after my pap smear and she told me I didn’t need one and I was good to go in a condescending tone when I told her I will think about it instead of getting on hormonal BC right then and there. I said I still would like it. Come to find out it was a hemorrhagic corpus luteum cyst with lots of blood and free fluid. They said it should resolve and I will be fine. Sent me on my way acting like it was nothing. Every single day after that happened has been pure hell. Extreme bloating in face and stomach, nausea, lack of appetite, chest pain, anxiety, depression, joint pain, fatigue. I take many supplements and have a selective diet due to my stomach issues. 3 days after, I woke up confused, pale, couldn’t walk without feeling dizzy, more chest pain, heart rate would reach 130 when standing. I went to the ER. They did an ultrasound and it showed there was still fluid and it was going to resolve. Plus more cysts on both ovaries. Only told me that one sentence. A doctor didn’t even see me, just a nurse. I was in the ER for 9 hours. No fluids, no meds, nothing. They took blood and I can see it on MyChart and it said my cbc was abnormal. All the levels were below normal. WBC was like 2.6 or something. I went home in pain and humiliated. I still am having extreme bloating everywhere even with barely eating. Started to take iron supplements and increasing electrolytes. How long until the bloating and inflammation goes down? Nobody told me any information and what to expect or what to do except birth control. Someone please help me. Also started heavily breaking out on the lower part of my face which never happens.

So I work night shifts and sometimes day shifts. My sleeping pattern hasn’t always been the most regular because of this. Today i got fell asleep around 4:00am after getting in from my night shift, my GF woke up around 5:30am to get ready for University so it woke me up, I was awake till she left, which was when i fell asleep around 8:00am. I woke up again to my alarm to get ready for my day shift at 10:20am (shift starts at 11:00am). I was extremely tired, I checked my phone and my manager said to start work at 12:00am instead. I couldnt get back to sleep, so I did the usual when i cant sleep, I read the Bible. About 20 minutes later my Manager messaged again saying todays shift is cancelled and im not required to be in, i felt relieved because I was really tired. So around 11:00am i tried again to sleep. This is where it got weird, as soon as i closed my eyes I was not asleep. I lay there for about 2 minutes and tried to turn over, but I couldn’t move, my body just was not responding, I know I wasnt asleep because i was seeing exactly what you see when you close your eyes, just darkness. I tried opening my eyes but I couldnt. Thats when I started to panic. After trying constantly to move and open my eyes, i hear a voice, a woman, whisper my name twice after short breaks between. After that, I could move and I could open my eyes, i jumped up straight away and checked my phone. It was bang on 2:02pm. So i was in this state for about 3 hours, but it only felt like 10 minutes of fighting to get my body to move. I dont think it was sleep paralysis because people claim to see weird shit but all i could see was the back of my eyelids. I have never had sleep paralysis before so if it was then thats a first for me. Any Ideas on what it could be or if it was just sleep paralysis?

For example, guy has to survive in wilderness with monstergirl, she's in her element, he's the weak party that needs to be protected, so she does, and they bond.
They get to civilization, or rescued, monstergirl is captured\treated as lowerclass \ enslaved \ forced to survive in unfamiliar civilization for some reason, and this time the guy rolls up his sleeves and HE is in his element now, giving back for all the care and protection he was getting earlier.
Preferably mono or very small harem, HEA, anything else doesn't really matter.

2024.11.28 18:31 Puzzleheaded-Sun-807 AITA for asking my family to put diapers on their dogs when they visit for thanksgiving?
Family is visiting with two senior chihuahuas. They keep peeing inside my apartment, which has encouraged my new puppy to also start peeing everywhere. I put a diaper on my dog while they are staying with me since the peeing was getting excessive. I got upset over how much the dogs were peeing in the house and suggested all dogs wear the diapers for a few days while visiting. Family refuses to try the diapers on their dogs because they are old and they claim it will make them uncomfortable. To add, they clean up the pee right after it happens. It is still annoying because it’s constant and can be avoided by wearing the diapers I am providing.
After I got upset and suggested the diapers, my entire family was upset and said they are going back home early and that they should be able to bring their pets to a family member’s home.
So AITA for getting upset over this and providing a solution? It’s annoying that they keep saying the diapers would make them uncomfortable and it’s abusive. I’m in vet school and can assure them that it isn’t.

 | (picture of my sugar plum for reference, we were hiking and she got a bath after this lol) i have a beagle mix who has never really needed grooming, her hair is short and thick and doesn’t get unruly. she has always shed but i just swept or vacuumed because she was never allowed on the couch or bed, so not a huge deal. i recently let her on my bed because she’s getting older and her bed was dirty and i was washing my sheets anyway, but now i wouldn’t mind it if she slept on the bed more often. the only issue now is her hair. i don’t really think she should be brushed because her hair is so short, i think it would just irritate her. is there any good ways to groom/keep the shedding to a minimum? submitted by witchy_veggie to DogAdvice [link] [comments] |
2024.11.28 18:31 Pen-dulge2025 Update: Jinhao’s 450&750 w a G nib on each
So I was able to remove the nib and feeder on the 750: I took a zacto knife/razor to make the ink channel wider. My problem is getting the nib and feeder back onto the pen ugh. But what I was able to do is get a few feeders ordered; a #6 with a dual channel and another feed with a slightly smaller circumference to pair with the G nib which a #6. I also ordered some silicone grease to assist. If anyone has any tips on how to get a stubborn nib and feeder back onto a pen I’d be grateful

2024.11.28 18:31 diegofsv My feedback for future seasons
Here is a long take thet I have for the future of Diablo 4
I will start by saying that I love Diablo 4, I'm playing since the start and I really think that this game will have a long future ahead.
There are deep problems within the actual Diablo formula that make the endgame imposible to exists and I know that the Diablo team is afraid of "killing the fun" for people that just want to zap everything without too much thinking. And I dont think that the team needs to get back to older stance of NERF EVERYTHING too, that was just too much.
The problem is, people that want to melt everything wants to do that into the "endgame" which is exactly what it shouldnt do. Without challenge, there is no endgame and so we have this feeling of no content besides The Pit (a boring race against health)
So I will try to name the problems I saw in this season, what features could be implemented to alleviate and my dreams for the future.
1 - Do not let bugs spread With very few exceptions (like the bug is the only thing that make a fun build works). FIX THE BUGS. What we saw with Spiritborn this season is very concerning.
It completely trivialised the whole season content, making it so easy to farm for mythics (more on that later). This is not a single player game. Even if I tried another class, there were always SB killing everything in sight before I could do anything. Thats not healthy and make any kinda of content useless. The game felt like a slot machine where boss death animations were the numbers rolling.
Always fix bugs as soon as possible and make nerfs/buffs during midseason patches. The game need to be played to be fun.
2 - Let mythics be mythics I'm not saying to get back to where we never ever saw one. But make them a little harder to get (I literally saw more mythics than legendary undercity tributes) AND make it so we can only equip ONE.
There are a lot of cool uniques / aspects but because Diablo is so in love with damage numbers, the generic powers from mythics are way better than anything crazy you guys can do. Make the ones without generic skill increase have cool interactions, buff the hell out of them and make them feel mythic indeed.
Nesekem, Tyraels, Andariel, Melted are super cool items but without the generic skill increase, are mostly useless.
3 - Make content great again Back in the day, before VoH, you guys had a great idea. Make T4 something hard to achieve because we spent way more time into the pit than into any other content.
That idea failed miserably specially because all we do is increase in damage so all we have later on is the pit. Here are some ideas to increase the number of hard content we could make without changing these damage increases.
- Helltides: Starting at T4, the threat meter increases faster. When it completes, it resets itself and gives you a threat level. Threat level increases monster levels by 1 and changes the monsters that are hunting you: Level 1-5: Demons and elites. Level 6 - 10: Hellborne, 11 - 15 - Helltide Commanders and assassins, 16+ - Hellfire Buthcer. The higher the level better the loot and cinders. Chests drops a elixir that resets your threat level.
- Nightmare Dungeons: When you completes a 70+ pit it starts to drop a Infusion Sphere. Theses spheres can be used into sigils to increase ND levels and rewards and add a new crazy affixes. You can use 4 of them. Here are some examples: Magic Sphere +4 levels - Affix: Add a Drifiting Shade. Rare Sphere +6 levels - Affix: Hellbornes are hunting you. Legendary Sphere +8 levels - Affix: Aether Lords can spawn when an elite is killed. Unique Sphere +10 levels - Every kill can spawn a goblin
- Tormented Bosses: Every boss now cost one single resource to be summoned at its base level. You can spend more to increase its level. The Max is 5. Mythics starts to drop on level 3.
- Infernal Hordes: A special compass now drops. In this horde, every wave increase the monster level. Way better rewards at the end.
These are all to make the actual content playable in a way that people can control how hard it is. So you want to keep blasting? Play it in its base level. Want more challenge? Infuse the sigil with 4 goblin spheres.
4 - A man can dream (The Paragon Problem) My dream for the game is that T4 is a challenging dificulty. I'm not saying you cant one shot mobs or even elites but a dificulty that we can play the game, see the bosses mechanics and be aware of whats going on to survive and not only button mashing. And then we can add affixes to encouters instead of health and damage numbers.
But here is the problem, why make hard content if we dont have any incentive? And thats is true. The problem is, our whole progression is made by itens and Paragon Board only increases our numbers of the same build, making the progression a run against bigger health numbers only.
Paragons should change the way we play and not increase the numbers to impossible numbers. "But we already have uniques and aspects". True enough, but paragons (at least the legendary nodes) should be powerful non-specific changes. Let me make an example:
Word of Hakan is a unique focused on the Ultimate Rain of Arrows. But the No Witness legendary node could be a powerfull node that changes ultimates. For examples, it could be that No Witness let me pick a second ultimate skill. That would be wild
Instead of making my rain of arrows hiting billions, let me summon a Shadow Clone that copies my Rain of Arrows, its way more fun than see numbers go high! Lets us play the game in crazy ways, and not by crazy numbers. If the progression is fun, you will keep playing all the content so you could make all content challeging and it would be cool. Paragon needs a complete change to be our last goal in the game.
Items are our first goal to have a build online (and you keep upgrading their numbers later on with ancestrals) and Paragons to change our builds completely and not by increasing the numbers of the same build.
So here it is, my thoughts about Diablo 4 and what it could change in the future. I hope that Diablo team keeps progressing, I feel they have great idead but the game is too in love with multiplicative bonus to damage/health that makes it impossible to make any kind of endgame content thats not a damage rush. Dont be afraid to make crazy mechanincs, make them instead of crazy numbers.

 | My camera is so shit... Megan Fox Looks 8 Only grabbed an 8th to sample with some of the LCG so really only had smaller buds, but they were dense light green frosty nuggets. Smell 7 Smell is subtle (to someone who's been smoking all day) but would definitely stink your pocket out in a ziplock. Smell is dank and sweet. Taste 8 Not the loudest but some nice terps going on doesn't slap you in the face but tastes very pleasant, dank skunky and sweet with slight citrus notes. Ash 9 White/light grey ash very clean and smooth Effects 8 Really enjoyable smoke not overly sedated after a .7 J but feeling nicely stoned for sure. Nice head high feel it around the eyes but not overly tiring. Overall 8/10 A very nice mid for the price hopefully Pistachio got enough to go round definitely gonna have to order more and try some of that bubblegum gelato looks fire. LCG is also decent not the most lemony lcg I've had from P but still a nice example of the strain. I don't really do reviews I've been ordering online for 5+ years now and this would be my first one, don't like to dick ride but you gotta give props when due and who doesn't like a free competition. I like the idea of this Reddit page, a place where people can review and discuss recent drops, regardless of the competitions it's a pretty cool idea. These guys have never let me down probably done 100+ orders in the past few years on biggy and directly, so far had 38 successful drops off site and not had many disappointing strains, everything's always fairly priced. A lot of these mids are what your plug up the road gonna charge you £30-40 an 8th for and these guys over here flipping it £130 on the zip!
