2024.11.28 18:50 One-Handle-8502 Possibility of being a nurse?
I was only recently diagnosed with CFS, after being impacted for months. And still now struggling even though I’m trying to pace etc.
Ive already had to leave a job in the last month due to it causing flare ups, and that was just hospitality. I was also let go from a high paid full time job early this year due to the symptoms causing me time off work too frequently (though undiagnosed at that point).
I’m in an access to HE course, wanting to be a paediatric nurse, I need to begin looking at options, like uni or an apprenticeship, which both already have their pros and cons. But I’m really concerned about how I’m going to carry it out… long term. As much as it’s my dream, is it something I will be able to do? The long hours on placement, the assignment stress, the pressure etc…
When I look into the future, I see me in a hospital helping children through their hardships, but then… I also don’t envision the CFS side of it- like I try to block it out…

2024.11.28 18:50 MashTheGash2018 An alternate ending I think could have led to an interesting sequel or end of trilogy.
Obviously spoilers ahead.
As I was watching the scene of Morris and Skye in the walk in freezer I couldn’t help but think….oh fuck Morris never had intentions of reviving her. When he walked out I thought he wanted to trap the curse in there and see if that could end it.
Sure the ending was cool and now it’s a plague but I wish that Pizza Hut scene was real and played out different. That could have led to an origin story, can it be defeated, can it survive without a host and so on.
There were too many fake outs in this movie and I think something like Morris just trapping her could have lead to much more lore in a later film.
