Hi all, posted on here about a month ago - thanks again for the help at the time.
Here I am with the same problem hoping for some advice. Have had a recurring rash for ~3 months now which I initially thought was scabies and treated accordingly (I had scabies before, it was a nightmare to get rid of).
No success so visited my GP - he suggested it was ringworm. Started treatment with Daktarin (miconazole nitrate) and an oral anti-fungal. 4 weeks of the cream, 2 weeks for the tablet. Rash seemed to slightly improve but didn’t clear.
Next thing I know there’s a rash on my wrists, then my elbows. No GP appointments available at my local surgery so I head to a minor injury clinic offered by my insurance provider. The GP there agrees that it looks fungal, but finds its transition to the elbows and wrists strange. Discharged with a form stating “?” as the cause, a tube of Canesten (clotrimazole) cream and 5 days of oral corticosteroids.
Treated again for scabies (benzyl benzoate) followed by the new regimen. For the first time the rash seems to clear almost 90% apart from minor discolouration. Whether this was the cream, steroids or BB I have no idea.
A couple of days pass and it’s back again - worse than ever. All of the rashes have multiplied and have never looked more angry. I go back to my regular GP and he prescribes 6 weeks of oral terbinafine and another corticosteroid cream (I’ve read this is a big no-no for fungal infections as it can make them worse). I ask him for a dermatology referral - he says no. I ask him if he’s positive that it’s fungal - he says no. And I’m sent on my way with no answers once again. He told me to come back in 6 weeks if it hasn’t gone by then.
Almost two weeks now on terbinafine and the rash has spread further. No improvement. As I’m sure you can imagine, my GP is not going to budge re: the referral. And there is no option to self-refer to a dermatologist in my country. I’m curious if anyone has had a similar rash and what was the cause? Has your scabies ever presented similarly? Should I switch to a scabies treatment plan? So and so forth.
Not looking for a medical opinion or a diagnosis, just some advice and guidance from anyone who’s experienced similar or is more well-versed in this kind of thing. I’d also add that it doesn’t itch - which is atypical for both scabies and a fungal infection.

2024.11.28 18:39 letitburneracc 2 lines for $200 with Verizon. How do I get out of this
I was previously making around $4k a month and didn’t have many bills aside from my rent. I recently added my mom to my plan. I also enlisted into the military a few months ago and have a huge pay cut. About $1600 a month now. Making $820 every 2 weeks is not fun and having a phone bill that’s $208 when I don’t even have the latest phones is a little ridiculous. I’m trying to switch over to T-Mobile and they’re offering $90 for both lines including my military discount
I should also mention I added my military discount with Verizon and the price changed $7.. I called and asked how to get out of my plan and I’m being forced to buy out the phones in order to discontinue service
I can switch over to T-Mobile but I’ll still have to pay off the devices before T-Mobile reimburses me the money, I simply don’t have enough money in my account to be able to pay off the devices up front. I joined the military to struggle less but somehow I’m worse off and I only have like 4 bills a month. This is costing almost as much as my car note which is crazy
Can I switch over to T-Mobile and offer to pay Verizon off monthly versus everything up front?
What else can I do?

 | From top GKD Pixel, Miyoo A30, Retroid Pocket Mini, Switch lite. Picked up a used Switch Lite yesterday in anticipation of Taki Udon's company SUPER5, coming out with an HDMI out mod for the lite ᵃⁿᵈ ᵗʰᵉ ᴼᴸᴱᴰ ᵐᵒᵈ... the pre-order price makes the cost lower than a new regular model switch which i thought was a no brainer. Now I'm looking at custom shells and buttons and hallstick mods and speakers 😅 The hdmi mod alone to me, makes the switch lite the preferred switch to have, to me it has always been way more comfortable to hold than the larger version but not being able to play on the TV just makes it impossible to justify owing since that alone means it's not being used 85% of the time. When I found out that Taki Udon's company was also doing an hdmi out mod for it with the OLED screen, ok shut up and take my money. The RP Mini 🥰 is my favorite device rn I've been playing so much PlayStation 2 on it. In the photo, it's just just shy of the dimmest setting so it wouldn't be too bright and wash out. The screen as you can see is crystal clear compared to the other 3 it's truly an amazing screen. I'm not a fan of shaders on handhelds ikik burn the witch, but that controversy didn't matter to me, I respect if you feel otherwise. The sticks being inset just a bit makes it honestly really easy to reach and I find my fingers curling on the "ergonomic" bump on the back and finding a comfortable position for playing hours at a time. I'm 6'2" and palm basketballs I have large hands for a woman. The Miyoo A30 is my EDC. It fits perfectly in my purse. The joystick barely sticks out more than the dpad, it's just a switch joystick but for the size and limited number of games I use it for it's fine. The ergonomics of this device are surprisingly amazing 👏. It's so lightweight just about any position of your fingers can support it. The slight difference in how how the R2/L2 stick out further than the R1/L1 that wraps around the corners means the index fingers never need to move and just rock back and forth for extremely easy twitchy reactions. The D-PAD is by far the best out of these 4 devices. It has an excellent pivot and subtle clickyness that provides amazing feedback. Spruce 3.0 is perfect. The dev team has all my appreciation for the work they have done for this device. En serio muchas gracias 🙏 ❤️ 💕 I love this device so much thanks to you. I plan on picking up a few of these and loading them up for Christmas. The GKD Pixel is mid, at best, it's screen has v bad light bleeding on the sides that's very obvious, it has a terrible resolution that makes a lot of content unreadable, I'm near sighted af like it's literally scrambled, I see the individual pixels clearly. A great example of it is the PlayStation 1 boot screen the txt under the logo is completely scrambled digitized garbage. Pressing R2/L2 is always a guess it's so small it's hard to find. UI suxs CFW suxs. The LEDs for the power on the side are cool for like 5 mins then become annoying af and 100× worse at night. It's only redeeming quality is I can hold and play it easily with one hand. It's good for donating blood and..... it shouldn't be a popular device 😒 Now i just need a 5.5" OLED PC Handheld that's not made by Ayaneo and I can be happy and finally play games. submitted by nakedmedia to SBCGaming [link] [comments] |

I'm looking to get a gift for my parents and was looking for something around 400-500. I've been browsing the black friday deals and saw the qx revo for $500 from costco and the q8 Max+ for $420 from Amazon.
To be honest I just am completely lost on how these and other vacuums compare. I'm also open to other robots in this price point.
For context on their house, it's mostly one large floor with a mix of carpet tile and wood floor with a few carpets. There is one pet in the house.

I know pretty much nothing about game development, so I am curious how PoE 2 looks so much cleaner and crisp. The lighting is leagues better in it. From my understanding PoE2 is on the same in house engine as PoE 1, right?
So how do developers make the game look better? Is it as simple as improved textures? How is lighting improved so much? Even the animations look cleaner. What all determines their ability to make it look good? Can it be done for PoE 1 as well?
