Hello everyone sorry if my post offends anyone it is not my intention, during my life I grew up in a multi religious environment I met many people who converted to other religions that influenced my faith as time went by I was gradually distancing myself from God in my previous post I explained that for many years I lived as an agnostic in a way I find it hard to believe or have faith, But I really believe that only God can help me especially with my problems I am someone who has led a very bad life in many spiritual, physical and mental aspects, I had bad friendships that influenced my way of thinking and acting and believing, There were even times when I practiced occultism, I did things that I would not really like to talk about, I have committed several things like addictions, being agnostic for a while has made it hard for me to believe, I do not know how to get closer to God, I would like to start straightening my life, I have never attended church, I have only been baptized, I have never participated in anything, Many times I thought about becoming an atheist and continue with my life but I feel that something makes me believe in God again, I feel very ashamed for my past for what I have done, I have blasphemed, sometimes I think if God still considers me his son, I want to get closer to him but I don't know how to?,I'm sorry if my post makes anyone angry, I don't mean to be rude.

I played four matches in comp mode today. Sinceraly, i have a waste of time. First three games loss because afks. And lastly game the matchmaking was insanely troll. "no team" game, again. Wasted 2 hours.
You cant play the game, is frustrating. I have to stop and nevermore play this, uninstall.

First of all, I'm not making this post to whine but to give my feelings as a new player, and maybe get some advice because I'm stuck on it and it tilts me (T8 is my first Tekken).
The sidestep mechanics seem so counterintuitive to me in certain aspects. I know that I have to visually validate the whiff before pressing, but even knowing this I find myself faced with frustrating situations:
Some moves appear visually linear but touch to the side.
Some moves appear to sweep horizontally but don't touch.
I often have the impression that the visual feedback does not necessarily seem to correspond to the properties of the moves, making the already difficult learning curve of the matchup so much more complex.
Maybe I'm wrong and doing something wrong but I would like someone to explain it to me.
