Hello all,
I own a 2023 Nissan Sentra SV that I’ve been driving for a little over a year now. I got it at 0 miles and it’s at around 30K now. Most of my time owning and driving the car, it’s driven very smoothly. I’ve been keeping up with my oil changes and tire rotations every 5K miles and recently did a 30K mile service at a dealership.
Recently, after driving across states several times (FL/GA, about 300-400 miles each time) and it’s been good for all of the trips except my last one. So I was driving normally on the interstate going about 80MPH roughly and keeping cruise control on as much as I can. Then suddenly traffic started getting REALLY slow to the point where I had to come to a FULL stop. This slow stop-and-go traffic lasted for about 30 minutes or so.
So once I stopped, everything was fine but whenever I let go of the brake for the car to move forward a bit, the car would start “braking”, or it felt like something was grinding and was slowing down my car significantly so I had to slightly hit the gas to speed up so that I wouldn’t be too far behind in traffic. I was slightly concerned but figured since I was driving for a couple of hours straight then suddenly coming to a slowdown that my car would act up at least until it cooled down or got a break or something (idk).
It kept going on for about 15 minutes with the stop-and-go traffic and the “braking” problem and then suddenly the braking got intense and my car stalled (engine shut down). A red oil light came on and I got a warning message to shift to P position. So I did and tried to pull over but my brakes and power steering were locked up so I had to pull REALLY hard to get my car to go to the side. And I was on neutral because my car refused to start. Thankfully I was able to move over to the shoulder since I was on a hill.
So after I got on the shoulder, I tried starting my car a couple of times (I had to push on the brake pedal REALLY hard since it wasn’t recognizing a push), and finally it started normally. The oil light went away, and my car was running like normal. I began to pull out and continue for a couple more minutes in the slow traffic until it finally resumed normal traffic, and I drove the last hour to my destination. I had 0 issues for the rest of the drive. As if nothing had happened.
Ever since then, my car hasn’t felt the same. I have been driving in a lot of stop-and-go traffic since I just moved to a city, going from mostly highways to city roads with lots of traffic and stoplights. I have had a couple of instances where I mildly felt that braking, but it wasn’t significant enough for me to be too concerned.
However, I am making this post now because I had JUST started my car and pulled out of a parking lot with speed humps, and each time I slowed down for a bump, I got that braking sensation AGAIN, and it was just as bad as the road trip. This is a couple of weeks after the initial incident. However, it didn’t stall this time since I was able to start speeding up into regular traffic. I am just very concerned for the lifespan of this car.
I don’t know if it’s a CVT issue or a brake problem. I took it to a dealership soon after the stall incident and got an oil change / tire rotation, and I mentioned the problem I had. They said they’d pull codes to diagnose the problem, but after they finished, they said they got no codes, there is nothing wrong, and it must’ve been a computer issue.
Apologies for the VERY long post 😅 I will summarize below:
Had an incident where I was driving a couple of hours straight then suddenly came to stop-and-go traffic, and my car was braking/grinding every time I let go of brakes to move slowly, lasted about 10 minutes until it stalled. Brakes and power steering locked up, red oil light came on. I started the car normally after a couple of minutes and haven’t had an incident since. Grinding/braking was happening again recently but no stall.

Context: I got 2 cinematic Mewtwo back to back (already had one) but I feel indecisive cause Idk if the tickets are a reasonable goal for someone that doesn't spend in the game. But I wouldn't say I love the effects that are available so my question woud be.

I started grad school this year, and gained motivation to try to commit myself to recovery. I’d try it many times before, was begged to go to inpatient by my doctors and therapist, but it would always end up in being triggered back to restriction.
Trying it again this year has actually gone really well, though. My relationships have improved so much, I’m not constantly angry, fatigued, lightheaded, etc. etc. I went from a bmi in the 15s in February to bmi 18s now. I don’t count calories anymore, weigh my food, or weigh myself. I don’t feel like my day revolves around the plans that my anorexia laid out for me.
But here and there I’ll see a picture of an underweight girl, and feel ashamed for “giving up” my old body. Seeing Ariana Grande everywhere makes me feel so gross, because we’re the same height, and she looks similar to how I did at my worst.
I miss feeling dainty in cute outfits, and having a sharp jawline and cheekbones. I truly feel like I looked so much prettier. No one around me thought the same though; I remember the first time I met my boyfriend’s mom she asked him if I was sick.
I know this is just a reflection of my lack of self-security, but I was just wondering if anyone else has been through this, and if you’ve been able to minimize the thoughts telling you that you looked better while malnourished. & how you worked to achieve that.

Hi, I just started taking 20mg Prozac 3 days ago after having horrible health anxiety and general anxiety for a month or two before. I got broken up with 6 days ago because of my anxiety which prompted me to start medication. So far, I haven't noticed much of an improvement, but I have taken Prozac before so I know it takes weeks. I have been feeling nauseous and have been dry heaving every night and I've been unable to eat a proper meal since the breakup. It feels like the Prozac is making these worse and I've also been getting horrible anxiety in the mornings so I haven't been attending any lectures because of it. My mind keeps fixating on the breakup and spiralling and I just can't function or do any of my daily activities.
I was just wondering if anybody else has had similar experiences and if so, how did you manage getting through the early weeks?
