Here is my mayocoba bean tempeh experiment. 36 hours and I see good spore growth. Looking to see thickening of tempeh today. Beans are whole and not skinned. Taste is light and creamy. Nutty smell and flavor.
Temp was a bit low for the first 24 hours, hovered around 86, instead of the 88-89 I prefer. There was a bit of condensation that worried me, but it was at the right time (15 hours).
Will post a pic of the tempeh when I eat it later.
Would make again!

 | Hi again, first thanks for the help on my old post. So that same clock once again had to travel. The issue now is the pendulum doesn't seem to maintain momentum. So far not spotting any stand outs in the internals, but I just got here so need to dig more. I swayed the pendulum and I can hear it click internally but after ~10m it comes to a stand still. 2024.11.28 20:38 fpianta_ PC shutting down semi-randomly
Hi everyone. I'm experiencing some serious problems with my system.
It all started probably six months ago when I experienced one single shutdown while I was doing 3D rendering. I attributed the episode to something wrong with my PSU, so I first unplugged all the cables and checked that all the connections, especially those going to the GPU, were intact and correctly seated. The issue seemingly went away and I resumed my work. Fast forward to a couple of months ago and the problem started to appear again, but this time while doing nothing other than some light (very light) 3D modeling. The first thing I did was to check all the connections again, but it didn't solve anything this time. I tried to run OCCT, and found out that nothing but load testing the GPU made the PC shut down. The problem is that now it restarts itself even while doing CPU rendering and sometimes even randomly. I do not have a spare PSU to test it with, but could it be attributed to a faulty (or rather failing) unit? The PSU is not a top-tier one, but it holds up to the power consumption of the components, as well as the rated amperage on the 12v rail.
Also, no error seems to be reported on the windows logger, other than a kernel power failure.
System (it's pretty old) i5 8600k - GTX1070 8G - 16G DDR4 - Thermaltake 630w PSU

If I try to call one of my friends (using a iPhone 13 on iOS 18) it works fine. But if try to call a different friends (using a iPhone 14 on iOS 18) it disconnects after around 5 seconds. Why does this happen?

TD;LR
So my nana has been constantly picking me out on everything I do or didn’t do, even with harmful words. Little backstory me and my mom live with her at this time, ever since my mom lost her job (it went bankrupt) and couldn’t afford living we had to move in with her, it was the only option to not have us homeless. We both are working and my mom has found a better job but is saving up. Im saving up as well. Both of us also rent so it’s fair and can help her with her house bills.
Anyways to continue with the situation, she’s been constantly on my case everyday. Like today she freaked out for laying my fingers on the wall when I was trying to catch myself from getting unbalanced on the stairs, yesterday she was pissed that I wanted (needed) to take a nap from after work cause I had a horrible headache. I haven’t been feeling well and had immense pelvic pain, past the 4 days (I did get medicine for what I needed after so I’m okay now) so I struggled with getting up and ready for work yet I still made it on time, and she yells anyways for the fact I cut it almost too close. And when I told her what I’ve been going through she takes it like it’s an excuse. I hate to even compare but I’ve noticed the difference between how she treats my cousin and me, just yesterday my cousin was explaining how she bruised her finger, and I couldn’t help but see how differently she treated her with it, came across so nice and understanding.. yet when I talked with her about my situation it was like she didn’t want to hear it.. there is just so much I could go on about with everything she yelled at me for. Like for another one, the kitchen, if I make food and I mean like use a bunch of ingredients she comes in saying look at this mess you better clean it up! Anyone else uses the kitchen making just enough of a mess, nothing. And yes after I’m done I do clean and put things away. She even yelled at me cause I didn’t wanna reuse a random dirty paper plate she handed me that wasn’t even mine… it’s frustrating. Either way I will admit I can have my own troubles with needing to remember things I tend to be pretty forgetful and clumsy even get in my thoughts too much not noticing when I get called. I still try my best and I know I’m not perfect. But I just don’t know how to talk with her when she doesn’t wanna hear any of it, I end up getting so upset I yell back at her, I don’t want to but she puts me in so much stress even makes me needing to cry.. it’s just always emotional abuse it seems. My mom even told me how she treated her is the same she is treating me, and her brother always was treated a lot differently. Anyways I don’t wanna entirely put her in a bad light cause she has other things that do make her great, just not when it comes to what I’m explaining here. I just wanna know how I could come to her how I feel or if I should try doing other things to make it work out just a bit better so I wouldn’t need to deal with them. Im just tired of it. Thank you for reading any of this.

I learned a few days ago what a blurb even is. And decided to revamp mine a bit, to better portray the current events going on in my novel. Tell me your opinions.

Thousands of years after leaving that world behind, the portals lit up once more. But it was from the other side. Now the world of magic has to deal with forces they've never encountered before.
Solon, one of the soldiers from the other side of the gate, finds himself forcefully teleported away from the battlefield, ending up in a forgotten temple belonging to a witch that rose to immeasurable power. She was imprisoned in that very temple by her own devotees, where she spent countless centuries as a genie, granting twisted wishes to ignorant travelers. The soldier tricks the genie, granting her the freedom she desires, but at the same time reverting her to her original mortal form.
Meanwhile on the other side of the world, the Elven kingdom of Vatur struggles to fortify the portal gates in hopes of preventing further invading forces from breaching into the world. The title of the book, like the blurb, is also under revision and will be changed to better reflect the actual plot of the novel.

Buenas tardes. Antes de empezar a desarrollar la idea daré algo de contexto por si suelto burradas. No tengo gran idea de inversión, pero hace algunos años me gusta leer algo de vez en cuando.
Siempre veo la recomendación de invertir en el mercado americano o global. Fondos como el Sp500 o el World o sus similares. Sin embargo ¿Porqué no invertir en Asia? Es más que obvio que China e India, por mucho que se les intente joder desde EEUU no lo logran de forma efectiva, inevitablemente llegará el momento donde sean igual de poderosos que estados Unidos y esto sea una oportunidad de inversión tremenda mirando a 20/30 años vista. Siendo francos se me ha pasado alguna vez por la cabeza la misma pregunta con África, pero siendo muchísimo menos interesante la verdad. ¿Qué opinan ustedes?
¿Existe la bolsa china o la india, etc, al igual que existe la bolsa americana?

Was exploring a cave in Microtech today and came across a few plants, something that looks like a fungus. I was wearing a flight suit and helmet but a few minutes after picking it up, my vision became blurry and I couldn't walk in a straight like. (Holding W took me 45 degrees to the right, and same with every direction.) I slowly zig-zagged back to my ship (Cutlass Red) and laid down in the medical bed, did a scan but it found nothing wrong. I had to Backspace and respawn in the bed to fix it.
Anyone else experience this?
